I wonder how many people realize that the prices of goods/services was relatively flat for many, many years, *until* two things began to happen; one was ego based, as in, what's the point of being wealthy if everybody is wealthy (wealthy being relative), so they started raising prices to create a large gap between the classes, and the other was that politicians realized they could create an *invisible tax* by inflating the money supply (thus "inflation" was born) while feigning lack of responsibility for that inflation, as in, we will try to keep inflation at 2%, implying that inflation really wasn't under their control. "Inflation" has essentially been the longest running most profitable transfer of wealth ever devised.
I'm holding with the 1,885 ozs. of Silver I have and buying more Gold. I just bought 11 AU 1933 $20 Gold Liberties to add to the 26 - 1 oz. Gold maples I already have, and I'm converting all (but 1) of my T Bills to physical Gold in the coming weeks. I have NO trust in Bitcoin, Stocks, etc. and I'll stick with my Gold & Silver, which has never let me down.

💯 I feel the pain as well. I can't figure out if I'm crazy for becoming a stacker 7 mo. Ago or the price was high at 25 bucks but ran up shortly after I started. Or if I'm smart for starting to stack regardless for the insurance and savings that I'm putting away and possibly have to wait 10 years to break back even if I need to trade into another asset. Idk. You all tell me ! Please . I kick myself someday ! & other day's i'm super pumped that i begin holding a tangible asset! And get to enjoy the beauty of it as well. Thx.
I mainly stack sovereign coins (mainly Maples), and 80%, but I have a few type 1 ASEs, Britannias, etc. I also have 1/10th and 1 gram silver, as deals come along. Regardless of what you stack, using fake money to buy real money is a no-brainer. I love this community because they are so happy and willing to help new stackers.
Hello Yankee today bin a sad day for me because early this morning around 12 AM on Thanksgiving My six year old son passed away in the hospital so now all my silver is pretty much gone because funeral cost and so on. everyone here reads this well. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Canadian Maple is nice, but you have a leaf on one side and now the ugly mug of King Charles on the opposite side. 🤮 Until just a few years ago, Canadian Silver Maples would get milk spots all over them. Who in the hell wants that? Then just a few years ago, they finally figured out why they were getting milk spots and were able to correct it. To my awareness, US Silver Eagles Never had that problem.
Still baffles me why silver in 2011 was $50 and we're not even there today. Just compare $50 in groceries today to what you could get in 2011. Silver at $100 today should be about right. Being simple here but whatever.
Every time I think I’m spending too much on my stack…I need to remember I’m actually saving for my future and the futures of my family. I’ll never be rich, but at least I’ve got something physical that will never be worth nothing!

I never heard of that, either, although do recall a deer's head in one bucket and another bucket of blood sitting outside my (and my neighbor's) apartment door one day after work. Guess my neighbor had been out hunting while I was at work. Not sure what he did with the bucket of blood.

Hey Yankee!!! I just wanted to drop a line and tell you I just bought 1 oz Pamp bars for below spot today at Costco. Spot price was $2680 while I was in the store (it's dropped a little in the last couple of hours). I got the bars for $2689.99 each which was $10 over spot at that moment but I used my Costco Visa card and earned 2% cash back. My home State doesn't charge sales tax on bullion so after taking the 2% off of $2689.99, I saved $53.80 each essentially paying $2636.19 per bar. $43.80 below spot at that moment of purchase. I was going to buy silver bars too but they weren't a good deal. The 10 oz Pamp bars were $339.99 each. Costco must have bought them when silver was higher than it is today so they're sitting on them for now. Spot for silver was around $31.73 when I was in the store.
I find myself whistling to the flutes with gusto every time i watch a video. It actually fires me up and makes me want to find a redcoat, lol. Good stuff Yankee!
I respect all of our options,my personal belief is that gold around 3,500 and silver around 49 is where the true price should be with the amounts Fiat currencies that have been printed not just here in the United States but globally

Good show Yankee. For beginners, it doesn't get any simpler and more cost effective than buying 10 oz or 1kg silver bars. As one learns to appreciate the pretty coins or rounds in smaller measures, one is more likely to regard them as worthy of their higher premiums. As for gold, I'm all-in on sovereign coins. They are surely worth their premiums compared to gold bars.

In other words, if dollar no longer has any value at all, how can silver and gold and platinum and palladium etc be valued compared to something not worth anything any longer? Not really into precious metals, but I do have a 2008 500-Coin American Silver Eagle Monster Box (Sealed, never unsealed). Terrible investment, but great insurance if the USD collapses.
If silver was to hit $600.00 > $1000.00 > $2000.00 the amount that would be needed to retire on or live out a good life might be around 100 - 200 ounces...

Ted Provenza said that he spoke with miners and that silver is harder to gather, because they have to drill deeper. Miners say that it comes out of the ground 7:1 with gold?? Silver has been sold on paper almost 408 times to one ounce… can you make a podcast on that?
