I was the 3rd GIRL in the family and my mom always yearned to have a boy. She started to dress me in pants and shirts. Always had a short haircut whereas my elder sister had long plaited hair. I was allowed all outdoor activities boys did. Climbing up trees, riding a bike play cricket. Whereas my sisters were strictly disciplned how to be girls. OnceI hit puberty, my mom even made me wear tight vests so that my bossom doesnt show much. On my first period she started to realize God has made me a girl and started to look at me that way. So the bangles, dresses and headscarf were intriduced. I was then stopped to go out much. All this confused me so much. Till this day I think that disturbed parenting took away a little of my feminine allure. I am not saying my mom was promoting me for non binary but she simply yearned to have a boy so much that she forgot how this would impact me psychologically. Children are born innocent...its the adults around us that mould, shape us. Sadly, sometimes due to their own weird desires. I feel sorry for all those little minds that are manipulated. 😢

Being a girl was very hard. I still deal with periods and all of those hormones and junk. However, please don't discourage the kid (I forgot her name) from wanting to be who she is.

I was the 3rd GIRL in the family and my mom always yearned to have a boy. She started to dress me in pants and shirts. Always had a short haircut whereas my elder sister had long plaited hair. I was allowed all outdoor activities boys did. Climbing up trees, riding a bike play cricket. Whereas my sisters were strictly disciplned how to be girls.
OnceI hit puberty, my mom even made me wear tight vests so that my bossom doesnt show much. On my first period she started to realize God has made me a girl and started to look at me that way. So the bangles, dresses and headscarf were intriduced.
I was then stopped to go out much.
All this confused me so much. Till this day I think that disturbed parenting took away a little of my feminine allure.
I am not saying my mom was promoting me for non binary but she simply yearned to have a boy so much that she forgot how this would impact me psychologically.
Children are born innocent...its the adults around us that mould, shape us. Sadly, sometimes due to their own weird desires.
I feel sorry for all those little minds that are manipulated.
