I feel for Rob when he made three attempts at asking the "did your group have guesses who the other group would vote out?" question to Tim, and it didn't land each time.
So hungover he couldn’t understand what Rob was asking him. Maybe Rob should have asked like did you think Charlie or one of the other namis were going home that night? Maybe if he listed names he’d finally understand what Rob was asking.
Wow, wish we would have heard more from Soda’s perspective during the game - she is very well-spoken and seems to understand well how to play the game & how to talk with people in the game even when you don’t necessarily want to work with them or trust them.
It’s interesting that we’re getting so much more backstory and camp life with longer episodes…but I still feel like we really don’t get to know people, personally or in their games? Rob, your interviews almost always help us see the person behind each TV character. I loved seeing more into Soda and Tim as people and game players! What can the producers & editors do to help us see more of these beautiful people they obviously loved enough to cast?
Yeah something went wrong in the editing phase of this season, which is weird as last season was one of the best edited season of all time. I felt I consistently knew where everyone stood whereas this season, I barely know what half the cast is doing gamewise.
@@handsoaphandsoapthat’s a great point about the style to the editing. I really don’t mind. I like the “main characters” point of view. Like we’ve been getting a ton of Charlie and you can just tell he’s going deep in the game with likely Venus, Hunter, Tevin, Maria and 😢yanu
People are always going to show more personality in these interviews because they’re not exhausted and starving. Plus you’re going to be more entertaining in an interview naturally; even if there are cameras on during the game, eventually you get used to that and get less emotive
Survivor does tend to cast extremely interesting people, so I understand the intrigue in seeing more of their backstories. However any players that excessively talks about themselves like in Big Brother, is a red flag for an influencer. Gameplay should always be the first priority bc the winner should be the player who played the best overall game.
Tim explaining his perspective on the Plus 1 alliance was very helpful. I was wondering why it unfolded so weirdly. It would've helped if production used a sliver of the 90 min to give us a short confessional or scene about it.
“A 6 person alliance has never worked in a group of 13 people” Buddy acts like he had to pick 1 alliance to commit to all game… It’s about working your options equally. Even if that’s not the final 6 you want, maybe don’t openly work against the cross tribe alliance you were handed by chance
I called Tim and Soda double boot about a week ago. It was right on schedule, but they took their medicine like champs. It reminded me of the Rocksroy and Chanelle Howell double boot from season 42, but I guess they did not see that episode.
You know, if editing would reflect more realistic, actual scenarios instead of weaving their own connective stories (ex. Soda & Hunter & camp songs and that broom), we would get the game more pure as spectators. There are invariably, different explanations to certain relationships when voted out players are interviewed. Granted, we can't see everything, but make it more organic in what we do watch. Your audience is worthy of what we see is what was.
Tim and Soda are both so lovely! I really appreciated getting to learn more about them in these interviews. Tim is so funny, and Soda is so thoughtful. Thanks for the great interviews Rob!
I really thought soda was going further she seemed like the core of this season for me for some reason. Rob your interview skills and questions are really great. Loving this channel its enriching the season a lot for me.
Soda was definitely gone too soon, through no fault of her own. I'd love to see her back again, she was a great player, and I don't think her story is done just yet. As for Tim. Yeah. He was there. Next!
i hate it when they do these double vote out shows. obviously that one tribe has 3 members so they should no way have a majority or even 50% share of the vote in these episodes.
True it really gives smaller tribes entering a merge situation a lot of momentum and footing where normally they would be an easy target for the majority tribes.
Tim screwed up. They were going to have that six alliance now that they had already been into the merge and he got scared and greedy too soon he needed to use the power of that alliance to move forward just a little further before he shifted his target.
I don't know. Tim saying an alliance of 6 has never worked in the history of Survivor sounds a bit revisionist. He's the one who was 1st to be disloyal to the 6
Im confused why the editors tried their best to edit soda negatively? I guess it was to show venus in a positive light (she must play a big role in the end game) but it's just weird. seems like a super loavle and smart player
Legitimate question, and I wonder if Survivor producers thoughts about this… what would happen if an entire tribe played their shot in the dark at the same time? Would the factor of losing your vote be nullified, and then whoever wasn’t saved would be up for elimination?
even though she said production used clever editing for the viewer to think hunter was annoyed by the singing he outright said in a confessional that was his least favorite part of being a camp counselor lol and said it was a bit much at times with soda and tevin there being no peace and quiet. and no mention of the repeated idol snatching of venus cmun bruh that's gold
@@alexandraalbertz1442 i wonder how that works when they go home early and when its announced theyre on the show the people they work with or hangout with know they didn’t do well which spoils the season
@@bradenanders22 they went through that when they sign up the contract before even left to play. Trust me....is millions of dollars they need to pay if they spoil it in any way. Is hard for the second season as they play in May and is on TV from end of February to May the next year
I feel like soda is the first person who has left. The game felt like they could have one at some point. I mean she had been kind of pushed down from the people who I thought could win becathey were a couple scenes of people clearly conspiring against her but at some point she felt like she was a threat to win.
Tim is a selfish guy and good at making faces. He is not a team player and that led to his dismissal. He wanted to listen to other people's info more than he can divulge where he stood with the plus 1 alliance. He lost his trust with others when he didn't do anything to gain trust of the tribe. He and Gem are similar. Only one way traffic and that led to their downfall. Glad he's not in the jury as he sucks in making the right choices. Its his opinion over others.
I feel for Rob when he made three attempts at asking the "did your group have guesses who the other group would vote out?" question to Tim, and it didn't land each time.
I think this really shows the growth of Rockin Rob from 2011 to now
I was so frustrated for him 💀 Tim didn’t get what he was asking AT ALL
If you watch his pregame interviews Tim did that there too.
That had me so frustrated
Ask again!!
You forgot to ask Soda about the idol snatching dilemma with Venus
im sorry but "Club Soda" is so funny to me LMAOOOO
Poor Rob tried asking Tim the same question like three times and he didn’t answer 😭 haha
So hungover he couldn’t understand what Rob was asking him. Maybe Rob should have asked like did you think Charlie or one of the other namis were going home that night? Maybe if he listed names he’d finally understand what Rob was asking.
@@penguins776ya haha. I also noticed what OP said too tho. Thiught it was funny. Good old Tim

couldn't agree more! (:
I'm gonna miss Soda on this season. At least she'll be with us in the jury!
I wish we got to see more from Soda on the show, she seems like such a sweet person who really understood the game.
right !!! big agree
100%
me too friend!
That’s exactly why she’s on the jury
yeah i feel bad she kinda got edit screwed but she was super entertaining on the season

I think this season suffered from Bahnu overload on the first few episodes. We missed out on learning more about other characters.
Tim explaining his perspective on the Plus 1 alliance was very helpful. I was wondering why it unfolded so weirdly. It would've helped if production used a sliver of the 90 min to give us a short confessional or scene about it.
Soda needs to come back for another season!! We missed out on getting to see more of her. She seems like an amazing person and a great game player!

Soda was my favorite for this season, and definitely in my all-time faves!! I cant wait to see what she does next in life, she is amazing!! ❤
Soda! Loved this interview. I wish she was edited better by the show. Bring her back and do her right!
I called Tim and Soda double boot about a week ago. It was right on schedule, but they took their medicine like champs. It reminded me of the Rocksroy and Chanelle Howell double boot from season 42, but I guess they did not see that episode.
These interviews are making me like Soda quite a lot more than I did while watching the show, really sucks about what happened to her on social media
We should have seen more of Soda on the island...
Tim should’ve bought into that alliance, he was his own demise by not going through with it
Correct..

Love Soda she seems like such a nice person big personality wish her all the best❤ Jackie
Great interviews Rob!
Tim seems a little more than hungover. Respect 😂

Soda just lying her ass off in this exit press
i really wish we got more of soda! she seems great
you should change the title to say severalth person voted out
"Club Soda" is a very catchy term.
Soda seems super likable. I'm glad she made jury.
I really thought soda was going further she seemed like the core of this season for me for some reason. Rob your interview skills and questions are really great. Loving this channel its enriching the season a lot for me.
Tim not understanding the question about the other tribal 😂
I may be on a diet, but I still love soda!
This really confirmed for me that Liz is being 100% unintentional
Great interviews im sad that Tim and Soda got voted out they were fun to watch
Love them both, but neither of them seem self aware enough to have actually won. You gotta be wicked smart.
jake is that you ??
Soda was definitely gone too soon, through no fault of her own. I'd love to see her back again, she was a great player, and I don't think her story is done just yet.

Kinda hoping Tim gets asked back again. He seems strategically sound and he has an interesting perspective on the game

I wish he at least made it to the jury it’s just not fair to earn the merge and not go to the jury😞🤦♂️
I love hearing that Tim didn’t toss out Ben, but threw out Maria instead
Im confused why the editors tried their best to edit soda negatively? I guess it was to show venus in a positive light (she must play a big role in the end game) but it's just weird. seems like a super loavle and smart player
Was absolutely devastated to see her go. I hate this episode. She wasn’t after Tevin he should’ve gone after Venus.
Tevin is playing this game like a paranoid mob boss.
Legitimate question, and I wonder if Survivor producers thoughts about this… what would happen if an entire tribe played their shot in the dark at the same time? Would the factor of losing your vote be nullified, and then whoever wasn’t saved would be up for elimination?

Soda is so beautiful inside and out
Tim shines
Soda you are amazing
Have we had confirmation Soda’s parents were Seinfeld fans??
Very sad to see Tim and Soda go!! 😢
“I was born to 2 addict parents who didn’t know I existed, you know what I mean??”
No. I don’t know what you mean.
Tim talking about the +1 Alliance is hilarious. He cost himself the million
Do Prejury elims go back to US when the Jury phase starts?
i think so yea

Good to watch the homies play the game glad to see them go tho lol

Tim seems a bit hard headed, I’d let him go too.
How did Tim get cast...
….why wouldn’t he be?

I came for the idol snatching tea and am disappointed
🏖️🏝️Aloha Soda, u were great. Super miss u now. hope they film in Hawaii soon
Aloha!
Tim’s gameplay was awful. He reminds me of Jamal.
Jamal catching a random stray for no reason lmao
What I heard, is that Maria is controlling her tribe & is likely to win
Tim screwed up, totally flip-flopped and he was a liability going forward. He would’ve spilled the beans on the six alliance.

Jeez bro, did he hurt you? 😂
Get some therapy pls
SODA RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not a team player and that is y u r gone. U need multiple alliances in this game
He cant even say plus 1, he said plus 6, just means he's not really into it from the get go
Double dipping.
Tim was such a bad player 😭
