Poly tapes are good for going through empty conduit runs and bends to get your pull string or a few light conductors through, yes (recommended sizes and guages of course) but they lack the rigidity to muscle through situations where you need to add in a conductor or two to a conduit already occupied. You need to do this at times, and yes, you can sacrifice a ground wire that already is in a run to use it as a pull string and replace it with a new one when you pull through the new wire(s) but that's NOT always an option. Poly tapes don't replace steel ones, but they do have their advantages. By the way, I own and have used both types.
They’re really for different jobs. Steel is great for much longer conduit runs that have no bends or wider bents. Polyester is for short runs with tight bends.
Cheer Matt Just brought the 15m steel fish, for corro with existing fiber patch cords, the normal 30m poly in yellow tube binds to much. I wish they let you take the poly one of its reel easier, that’s a major pain
What can Milwaukee not make. Damn good company
Really ? what happens when the end breaks off
this is just a Chinese dropship/rebrand, I'm not uncertain...workable at US prices but a complete joke for what they ask in Europe IMO

Which one would you consider is the better of the two ?

And what if you have long run and tight bents?
Thanks for reviewing these mate. Cheers 🍺
Anytime mate. Thanks for the feedback.👍
I was hoping it has a brake for easier fixing and pulling but apparently that was bit too complicated?

Pretty good & clear explanation, ...👍
Thanks for the comment. 👍
Is 30m cable length enough for a 3 story house?
What kind of lineman tool did you use to strip the wires, and where can I get them? They look like Knipex
Yeah they are the 200mm vde knipex 👍
@@AddictedtoTools Appreciate it!
I subbed and liked because you said handle thing. Id love to see you follow up on that sorta idea. I love mods
what happens when the end breaks off , what do you tie the wire to
I’ve never had one come off. I do know that you can buy new ends. Have you had one come off?
@@AddictedtoTools Considering the cost that neeeds an answer
I think I missed the review part
Great review🫡
Very good my friend 💪😉👍
Thanks mate👌
thank you
I would of liked to see the same equal runs 👎
Ooph. I see somebody doesn’t really know how fish tapes work. I wish only pros demonstrated these so I didn’t waste my time watching these…
Hey mate, I’m happy to hear your constructive criticism….
Bro pls draw me in give away.
Because in india there no such tools available
Really?? How do you pull wire?
They run it externally on the walls and roof 😂
