Hi everyone!
My name is Lina and I am the writer of a blog documenting my life as a truck driver on Britain's roads (and sometimes elsewhere, too)! I have been at it for 5 years now, but I'm still learning and I'd be pleased for you to join me in this journey.
I am a self employed driver, working for different companies like Stobarts, Greenhaul, Target, Race Drivers INC, Royal Mail, Kammac etc. Trying to keep my job interesting.
I am always tramping (sleeping out in the cab) and going for discovery walks around the area.
My favourite location is Scotland and of course anywhere near the sea or forest.

Me no understand, UK has HGV driver shortage as they indicate, yet limited option for Lina. Mmmm, someone is hiding the truth.

A great way to recruit new drivers for a major company who pay the lowest pay rates in the UK .
Yh I notice they pay less per hour but I think what most people are drawn into is that they permanent but when you show annual salary seems a lot

When you consider the founder Stobbart's difficulties at school with dsylexia and leaving to start up this huge haulage company you have to be impressed and a great company to work for

its a weird life at stobarts my freind earns £27,000 a year my other freind at shell earns £56,000 a year im in the middle at £44,000 a year im on days .it all depends on where you choose .
