Lovely person I thought all of them has gone back to the Father God in heaven. I miss them. I first heard Sister Deloris when I heard Roberta Martin Singers. My mother began to play the organ and purchased a Gibson guitar for my brother to play. Because of Ms Thorpe. Those was the days. Our group was called the Golden Echoes of Faith. Theme song We have come this far by faith leaning on the Lord. Oh yes . Jesus loves me. To where the notes was held for so long. That when ever we sang in COGIC we were the last ones on program. The little old church in the woods of Tarpon Springs FL 🔥🔥🔥was in our Bones. Oh yeah the Barrett Sister Help in those days. I've never thought of anyone leaving. I'm over joyed thank ful to the Lord for recording Nothing like hearing them . Been up listening that the time passed. Zzzzz is needed now. PS did anyone carried on their group name

I've have not heard Jesus drop the charges in sooo Long. There none like these guys. Their is a tone of the twins that cant be mimic. Oh Yeah 👍💯 blessings to us who heard them.
The nostalgia of church then verses now. The natural look didn't take much to shine and show elegance. The director of the choir, was that Mrs. Mattie Moss Clark? The Barrett Sisters were an incredible trio. Adding in their piano player, Oh Boy, could he play! Thank you for posting. Great memories!

@@MissPamR Weird or not, it’s a valid question. I get that they were ‘legendary’...I just don’t get why. No biggie. I love the Clara Ward singers (all 3 eras), Barrett Sisters, Daryl Coley, Marion Williams, Kitty Parham, Esther Ford, the entire Hawkins family, Pace Sisters, and my favs The whole Clark-Moss clan (1st, 2nd and 3rd generations)-and they are all a generation or two before mine. Just wasn’t sure what made these two (Oneal twins) special...what the appeal was...maybe someone has an intelligent, or at the very least, historical answer for me

No that wasn't Dr. Mattie Moss Clark but she did favor her a bit.
Most of these artists were baptist and Dr Clark mainly worked with COGIC choirs
