- Syed Taalay Ahmed Shaheed was the great grandson of Hazrat Mirza Bashir Ahmad (ra) and Mir Muhammad Ismail (ra). He was also the son-in-law of Ghulam Qadir Shaheed.
He completed his MA in Journalism from the university of Sunderland. He served his life - to its very end - as a very dear life-devotee of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, serving in different offices till he was appointed to the MTA News team full-time in 2016.
Syed Taalay Ahmed Shaheed produced a number of inspirational documentaries that showed his immense love for Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya and he was also the one to initiate the very popular ‘This Week With Huzoor’ programme.
He was martyred on 24th August 2021 whilst working on a documentary really dear to him in Ghana.
MTA International presents the story of Respected Syed Taalay Ahmed Shaheed’s special life, which saw him serve the Khalifa with pure devotion and love till his last breath.

I used to tell Taalay after watching his documentaries to stop making everyone cry (i.e. me). He laughed it off. Again, he made us cry. Exemplary life, devotion and service to the Jamaat and Khilafat. May Allah elevate his status in paradise, Ameen.

What a wonderful tribute to our dear Syed Taalay shaheed. JazakAllah to the MTA team for this emotionally inspirational documentary and in such short time too, mash'Allah. Dear Taalay was indeed full of qualities. The more I learn about him the more I am in awe of how such a diamond of a person lived amongst us! Truly he is an example for us all to follow, a true shining star of Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya.
May Allah elevate his rank in jannat and envelop his dear wife and family in His loving comfort. May his progeny live on to tread on his pious footsteps. May we all become Taalay. AMEEN

When I was listening the Hazoor Khubta jumha, and Hazoor said He is a diamond. And i start thinking how much Hazoor love him. And after watching this great documentary About Taalay Sahib Shaheed realized that how much done great work for jamat, and I wish to be like a Taalay Sahib Shaheed. Ameen. Jazakamullah

🙏 Went to Atfal Canada 🇨🇦 trip in August 2017. Offered to work with him and worked alongside him for Atfal SEJ. Managed to complete documentaries of Atfal with him and the team, it was a true honour working with him

The Shahadat of Syed Taley Ahmad is a beachon of Light for generations after generations of Ahmadiyyat. He told us the meaning of Love and Obedience to Khilafat e Ahmadiyya. He told us the meaning of our lives to live for the Will of Allah Almighty. He is so lucky that Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih Khamis (ATBA) said," Oh my beloved Taleh ( Aey Meray Piyarey Taley)."
He was the Holy Progeny of Hadrat Aqdas Muhammad Mustafa (SAW) and Hadrat e Aqdas Masih e Maood (AS) and He proved it.
May Allah Shower His endless blessings and Mercies upon Syed Taley Ahmad Shaheed and ranked Him Highest place in Jannatul Firdoos and enable us all to follow the foot prints of Syed Taley Ahmad Shaheed. Aameen Allahhuma Aameen.

Masha-Allah an excellent documentary in memory of our beloved Talay. I never knew him, but my heart is full of love and deep respect for this true devoted servant of Islahm Ahmadiyyat and lover of Khilafat. In the various excerpts of Talay, his face always radiated a noor, and when he spoke about Khilafat his words came across as heartfelt - full of life and conviction.
He achieved the true goal of life, in such a short time.

A touching, moving tribute to this gem of Khilafat. A million thanks to Team MTA for producing this piece in such a short time, MashaAllah. I recently read a poem of the Promised Messiah (as) about Allah Almighty in his book Barahin e Ahmadiyya and 2 lines keep coming back to me since Huzoor's Friday sermon tribute " Whoever establishes a relationship with You unknown to others; Your mercy is bestowed on him openly, for all to see"
This is abundantly true for Syed Taalay Shaheed. He is now a shining role model for millions, many of whom did not even know of him before. As his Dad has rightly said, his Shahadat is a wake up call for sleeping souls. May Allah Almighty elevate his station and grant him a lofty place amongst the Formost.

When i started listening this documentry i was just feel sorrow but now my heart is crying and i'm feeling like i've lost somebody who is related to me. indeed he is in the better place now but he left whole of jama'at teary eyes. I can't stop my self loving him.😓😓
