Care, energy and resources = taxpayer dollars that are NOT spent on the taxpayers.
Growth is going to be South Dallas, Wilmer, Hutchins, warehouses and fast food along the highway.
Families need to be over in Waxahachie or Midlothian.

    Thinking of moving to Ennis?
Maybe you shouldn't. There's no that many amenities. Shopping is better in Waxahachie or Mansfield or Dallas.
She's speaking about the other places because there's nothing here. Unless you a well to do lady that "does lunch".
This is a working town. No sense of community.
The downtoen is onky for the rich folks who've gotten into power- none of them locals.

Thanks for sharing your perspective! It's true, Ennis might not have the same level of amenities as some neighboring towns like Waxahachie or Mansfield, but it definitely has its own charm and offerings [ as mentioned in the video] While some prefer the hustle and bustle of larger cities, others enjoy the close-knit community and slower pace that Ennis offers.
You're right that commuting to other areas for shopping or entertainment is an option for those who live here, and many appreciate the balance of small-town living with access to larger cities. It's all about finding what works best for each individual or family. [ Ennis just seems to not be your cup of tea ]
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts-it's always interesting to hear different viewpoints on local areas!
