I love the mystery behind this story. Is she a ghost? Why was she reported missing if people could see her? Was she still alive and held captive by the people on the island? She needs to get more information from the kind, homeless man. My theory is that the protagonist is alive and that you are reported missing on the island as a way to inform the residents that there is a new person that will never be able to leave.
Many of y'all are saying the protagonist here died/became a ghost but i think what really happened was: The policeman was actually the owner of this Ebony island and he captured or trapped tourists visiting the island in the same way he did to the protagonist. No wonder all the people in the island always had an expression of dread on their faces (because they knew they could never escape). And as for the homeless man, he seemed like a good person and actually warned the MC so that she wouldn't have to be stuck there just like the rest of them. This theory also explains exactly why there were so many missing posters of people in the street-walls inside the island.
As I watched the video story from the beginning to the end, from this woman's point of view, she was killed in a boat accident along with the passengers and she's a ghost doomed to relive her life in a never ending cycle,if it's implied.
Aside from your amazing writing skills and story plotting, your art style is so pleasing for the eyes! You really know how to design characters and make each one look pretty and unique, its so inspiring 😭❤

I loveee your animation as well as your narration so much. As much as I want to like the story, it's just...seem complicated. I am not a fan of an open ended stories as I am constantly seeking on what really happened to the ending. It seems to be a 'lil incomplete to me and the ending seems to be indirect. Hope u also at least provide an explanation on the comment section imo. Still supporting tho, just giving my side :)
Maybe, they will make a beautiful couple though. The girl is pretty and the dude handsome. With those two pretty nice looking people. I'm sure their kids will look wonderful
