Stay tuned!
I’ve had a 1080p 240hz monitor for my PC since 2019, and I have no intention to switch any time soon. I’ve played games in 4k and I really don’t notice much of a difference, and that higher hertz rate makes games buttery smooth. It’s great. I have plans to upgrade my PC but the monitor will stay until it stops working I think!
i'm at 4k 240hz and i couldn't imagine giving up that much resolution. 1440p was a massive upgrade to me and everything just looks right in 4k. it's obvious that 4k is what developers are designing games for.
what size monitor?
@@veilmontTV I mean, a 4k 240 hz would be ideal but them shits expensive
I got the ktc 1440p 27in 180hz for $140+ tax on amazon. It's freaking amazing! Thanks for the video! I think k ima go on and buy a 1080p model to use for my gaming so I can run more games on high
Love these equipment reviews! Keep ‘em coming 🙏🏻
My main tvs for gaming is 1080p, and they have built-in dvd players, and they can play old and new discs no matter it’s movies, shows, or video games, it runs everything in 1080p, just change your picture to wide or 100%, and it’s perfect!🙂
Update I went ahead and bought this one amazon had it onsale for $88 24.5in isp 180hz 1080p. its awesome! looks best at 2fr to 3ft away. if your closer the 1440p version is the way to go!
fun fact: i use a 2010 samsung monitor and its 1080p
I actually like 4K now because it integer scales perfectly to 1080p, so any games that can’t be played in 4K still look decently sharp at 1080p.
Hell, it also integer scales to 720p, which for certain really old games is nice since going even up to 1080p causes the UI to be too small to see.
This! 100% everyone sleeps on this face. I have 2 1440p monitors and a 4k monitor. I have a PS3 connected to a 1440p monitor with output set to 720p so it scales nicely over the 1440p monitor. I keep my PS5 connected to the 4k monitor because all of the older 1080p games look much more crisp on the 4k display compared to the 1440p.
look, 480p crt TV's are still good for gaming
480p + OG Xbox = the ultimate gaming experience
@@George-uy2kbnope the ultimate poor person gaming experience
No. No it literally isn't. You can go in the back alley of a tech shop and find a better 1080p monitor in the dump there lmao
@@SpiderjepoIn 2024? Nah, it's not even poor person gaming experience. It's just stupid. You can get 1080p that's not even close to $100 that will be cheaper and better than that
@@Mr-R.R. fr I got a 180 hz 1080p hdr monitor for 99$ anyone who still uses 480p lives in a garbage can
I have a beautiful 4k TV, but I prefer to play on my 1080p 144hz monitor. Games still look amazing and I can game up to 120fps on the series x.
I still have a 1080p monitor on my pc and a 1080p tv is my main tv lol
I have a 4k monitor finally and the desktop looks amazing. Still can't run games at any higher than 1080p.
I use the same benq they used in mlg back in og halo 3 days
I just bought their 1440p 24 inch 100hz ips display for 169.49$ Canadian.
800p on my SteamDeck OLED is pretty great.
Hey guys help me out with this. I know that building a 1080p gaming pc will be affordable and easily future proof for me. But people talk about 1440p a lot. So for playing aaa titles at 1080 24inch monitor how clear and sharp the image is. How much difference is there between both resolutions and also i think that investing the money i saved in gpu to better hertz monitor, storage and ram would help in even better gaming experience.
Im good with what is now common or standard causd it still looks good at the end of the day no need for any higher or that curve sceen bs
I still use 480i for gaming and sometimes 720p
Does it come with a display cable?
Yes and cost efficient. 4k really isnt that great
Nit when you're doing professional editing. But yes, 4k is overkill for gamin
Is it compatible with hdr?
Is G-sync working on HDMI?

I sell this exact type monitor for $150 canadian at my work. Kind of mid.
What do you think about the monitor? Do you think it is mediocre or decent? I am hesitating between this KTC H25T7 and the KTC H24T09P, more or less the same price, I am interested in them mainly because of the offers, I am also interested in the MSI G244F E2 but there are basically 0 reviews of it.
@@JACKjcs It more so depends on what you need. The retailer should list the exact statistics on their site, if they don't then you can find the manufacturer.
-If you play games then the important numbers are refresh rate and response time, you want as little response time as possible.
-If want cinematics or movies it would be more important to look at the color range, something like an Oled or Qned would be better.
But if you are playing games like military simulators it would be better to get a 2k monitor. 4k is overkill for anything ever unless it's a huge TV.
I still game on 720p that's on my gaming/work laptop. Studio I rent isn't big enough for a desktop PC, I need some room for other things. So I bought a 1000usd lenovo idea pad gaming laptop. As long as I am able to play games I am content with it. I'm not all super graphic, high mega performance type person. As well I prefer optimisation and performance over better graphics so I literally keep settings lows once I start playing a new games.
how many sq ft is your place bro
does it display 120hz on ps5
Yes. 4K is only great if you're doing shit like professional editing
I've always played on 1080p even with my Series X I still play on 1080p
1440
Why not get a 1440p monitor? Most series X games at least render at a 1440p internal rendering resolution and can output at 1440p as well.
@@Pruflas-Watts because I don't need it I can't even tell the difference between 1080 and 1440
