We got robot minions! Love them or not, what are your guesses on what this could mean our next minion DLC pack will contain? I think we have to get some deception and science minions to balance things out. I'm hoping for a guard dog deception minion, and an alien science minion.
It'll never happen but it'd be cool if they added Fallout themed minions think about how awesome that'd be: minions with laser or plasma guns a new henchman heck maybe some Zetans to aid your quest for world domination
On the bright side I can use the robot to work on the control room for reduce heat, gain more sceme income, and gain Intel (I've probably go with 30 of them)
Destroyed objects should be replaced automatically like how rogues steal your loot. Great video, its a shame the pack doesn't offer as much benefits as the others. Can't wait for the campaign pack though, that one will get me to play the game again
Yes, I am also really looking forward to that final DLC. All this free Valve content almost has me hoping the new genius will also be a cross over character...
Personally, I wish the robot minions could have been a bit more involved, requiring a bunch of infrastructure to get an improved workforce, instead of just machines to make them and charging stations. I do wonder what the other minion pack will deliver. The silhouette-like image in the roadmap shows a bunch of "redacted"-tape? I have no clue what that could entail, but I would hazard a guess that we are getting some deception minion and/or some science minion. Or maybe the Freaks from Evil Genius 1 will make a return?
Yeah, the robots have a lot of potential for a more involved assembly line. Needing to mine resources or steal them on the world stage, then produce them, then charging and say upgrade stations where they can improve their stats. It's hard to guess the deception minion because I feel like all the obvious names/jobs are already covered. The scientist could easily be just another branch of science slapped on an egg head who's able to help cover for all different scientist classes.
I have been playing around with this and have my own room for a robot factory. And I luckily found a way to break the minion cap with a few cheats thanks to cheat engine. Now I have an army of robots. I should work on the abominations now too
Since i do not have windows 10 (and thus not able to play it myself) I wonder if the robot guards can double up with ivans guard buff like the abominations, but if necessary get full metal jackie to equip the guards with weapons. This would mean that having a few posts of robot guards as either a first or second defense would be reliable cannon fodder to produce those corpses (unless on fire...yet so is the enemy) and any further penetration would be met by the undead. I also wonder if it is possible to place fire extinguishers directly under the cameras as they would obviously be near the fighting. I get the sense that these minion packs so far while applicable to other geniuses for RP reasons (or just maximillians greed of not paying wages) is almost entirely designed with ivan's buffs in mind. Granted by playing any other genius you would get a buff of combat troops supplementing your playstyle, but if i play for example a non-lethal Emma (until interrogation time muahahaahaha) having no corpses doesnt give me many undead or having non-valet robot minions caressing the hair of you counter agents just have no convincing white lies to tell. Although the lack of pay to basic minions might explain how Emma can afford her agents dental insurance....
I think the lair should be able to have a sprinkler system that would just put out fires in for example trap corridors so you don´t lose everything when something catches on fire
Another interesting DLC. I'm excited to play it. Are you going to do another play through when all the DLC is released? That would be interesting. Im sure you have played enough of this game to bored by it already. I am interested in what comes next. I would like to see an auto sprinkler system added. May cost money in use, or power? Would be nice.
Yep, the finale of the season pass is a new genius so I'll be doing a full playthrough with them. We'll see if we can find some fun other objectives for that playthrough. I hope we get a season 2 for the game, I think there are a lot of cool things the developers can add.

But seriously, I think it would have been more interesting if they had a few different traits that were randomized one of which is they blow up, or as part of the robot assembly line you can choose what traits you put on them. Even if one trait had to be negative if I had some other choices I'd be more interested in using these guys.

Yeah improved fire fighting would be a great upgrade to be able to unlock
