I was surprised to see that there are some areas that aren’t overly crowded considering a population of 17+ million! It’s nice to know there’s places you can go to get away from the crowds

I went to SZ from HK the first time around 1993, then later in 1996, 2000 , etc. This is one mega city that is made up of young migrants, full of energy , hard work and technology. It shows ppl nothing is impossible and you can realize your dreams. The likes of DJI , Huawei ,Tencent , CATL call it home. Now that’s how you build the future in 3 decades. Very impressive China.

I still have a hard time believing that Shenzhen transformed from a fishing village of just under 30,000 people to a major innovative city of 17.79 million people, which is almost half the population of Canada.
