Thanks for making this great and in depth tutorial! It's hard to find good, detailed Inventor Nastran videos like this that go beyond the basics of linear or even nonlinear statics!

That was very informative. Thank you very much for creating this video.

HI i have a quick question. With the same model with the same settings, why there are different frequencies in Normal modes analysy and frequency response analysis? Thanks.

very nice tutorials sir....I am glad someone is doing this kind of stuff. I have a quesion what about vibration fatigue? I was doing the test (because inventor nastrasn offers that option ) but it required to fill a table. I would like to ask you politely if you can expand this tutorial with that fatigue analysis.
    Kind regards

this is a great tutorial. I'm interested in the vibration exposure data PSD for off-road use. You mention there is MIL-STD data available for this but MIL-STD-810 G specifically says no data is available fo estimating ground vehicle vibration levels (page 514.6D-19) - can you confirm this? Cheers.

How did you put those constraints? I'm highly struggling with them

One more question please: if you have a load acting as 10 lb @ 50 Hz to the frame (some unbalance load) how do you consider the load? how do you define that the load is acting at 50 Hz? thanks,

Very good presentation. Two question please
    1. is remote mass considered in modal analysis or just the weight of the frame is included in modal frequencies?
    2. how did you verify your results and ensure they are correct and can be relied on?
    thanks,

From our experts: Remote Mass (Concentrated Mass) is included in the Modal Analysis in addition to the mass of the frame elements.

@@imaginittech Thanks for your response. One more question please: if you have a load imposing 10 lb @ 100 Hz to the frame (some unbalanced load) how do you consider the load? how do you define that the load is acting at 10 Hz and not 40 or 50 Hz? thanks

@@mostafaa9084 Per the experts: That can be done with a Modal Frequency response. First - apply the 10lbf load in the direction of the force on the frame. Second - Open “Dynamics Setup” and add 10hz to the list of Discrete Frequencies. That will result in a 10lbf load being applied in an oscillating (sinusoidal) manner.
