Love watching this guy bowl! Carmen and other elites of this era definitely deserve better than to watch the current crop of 'pros' destroy their legacy of skill and sportsmanship. Two-handed? Arsenal? Gimme a break! That which made bowling great has been rejected by salesmen for the quick buck at the expense of the game and future generations.
I remember this show very well. I was living in my first apartment. The first show of 1979 on ABC. I was a big fan of Holman, Schlegel, and Salvino. I like the colorful bowlers.
Can anyone tell me who the Black Dude is sitting in the front behind the Bowlers? He’s always dressed sharp & is at all the TV 📺 Matches in the late 70’s into the 80’s. I’m thinking maybe he worked for the PBA?? Someone help me out here!!!

Great memories bowling there as a junior travel league bowler in the 70's. So close to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm.
