This is actually kinda like Batman vs Owlman in Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. They were equals in skill, intelligence and tactics, but Owlman had a more advanced suit, claws that could cut through steel, and seemed to possess enhanced strength. He pretty much beat the crap out of Bruce.
+ Owlman is literally a supervillain so he is more likely to go for the kill rather than neutralisation (as is Batman's motive due to his no-kill policy)

I know a lot of people miss the Screw Attack era, but it was still great to see how much farther the battles were able to be pushed after Rooster Teeth picked them up. They hired their own voice talent for battles now instead of using clips from other games/films and their animations have a lot more talent and time put behind them nowadays

I just realized something... why did fans keep asking for Batman in Death Battles anyway? The guy has over-specialized himself in non-lethal takedowns and capture up to his choice of gadgets. Obviously he'd always be disadvantaged in the context of fighting to the death with no prep time. For him to win, you'd literally need to find someone weak enough to actually be killed by his non-lethal gadgets, or by peak human strength alone. Like just putting him in a battle royale setting with out-of-bounds rules with several people with superpowers he'd actually have more of a chance to get a win than in a one-on-one fight to the death.
Yeah he's honestly NEVER a great choice in 1v1 except against human enemies. Instead his real strength and role in the JL is the fact that he's a one-man intel network with a ridiculous amount of support hardware. He works much better taking out enemies behind the lines, or trapping more powerful enemies with custom gadgets or using the environment.

T'Challa has literally beaten Wolverine in hand to umm claw combat. Bruce can't beat Wolverine one on one without gadgets. So that tells you they're not on the same combat level.

Batman tends to do this, but he leaves and analyzes what happened in the fight and how he can use his opponents weaknesses. He’s good on his feet but that won’t help you too much if your fighting something new and powerful

T'Challa has literally beaten Wolverine in hand to umm claw combat. Bruce can't beat Wolverine one on one without gadgets. So that tells you they're not on the same combat level.

it wouldn't have really matter but the hellbat hadn't come out when this battle was made but even then the hellbat has no way to by pass vaibruminum and black panther has thrown hands with iron man another super powered suit that can take on gods just like the hell bat so its not the panthers first time dealing with a suit like that and if his suit can withstand iron man then it can withstand the hell bat easily and thats honestly all he needs to do considering batman would die even quicker since the suit draws on his life force.

Batman tends to do this, but he leaves and analyzes what happened in the fight and how he can use his opponents weaknesses. He’s good on his feet but that won’t help you too much if your fighting something new and powerful
Yeah if you give Bruce prep time you gotta give it to T'Challa too and Wakandan tech is YEARS ahead of Wayne tech. They seriously underestimated his net worth because they said the vibranium mound was 10k tons with 10k a GRAM for vibranium costs which places T'Challa's worth in the HUNDRED TRILLIONS.
