I wish I learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix- - Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life changing information that could have great effect on their finances.
Nobody knows anything, you need to create your own process, manage risk and stick to the plan, through thick or thin while also learning and improving.
This is true. For instance, many overlook that banks are return-driven businesses. I don’t trust keeping a large sum in the bank. Instead, I invest with professional guidance, enjoy the benefits and actively save up for retirement.
After the ‘08 crisis, I’ve learned not to trust corporations. Since 2022, I’ve been investing with a finance advisor and have had no major losses. I’m barely 25% short of my $2M goal after subsequent investments to date.
I understand that market behavior can be complex and unpredictable. Mind if I ask you to recommend this particular advisor whom you have used his/her services?
3 things that helped me and literally changed my life 1. I stopped watching porn 2. I read the book called ‘25 Money Secrets From Donald Trump’ 3. Stop drinking
Nice content! Few years back I was assistant to a wealthy pen artist and within the short period I worked with him I observed that he had quite a chunk of investment everywhere, stocks, crypto, dividend investing to name a few, so he had revenues coming in from all angles. And in a year his worth doubled. With this I learned that the rich stay rich by investing.
Effective personal finance management is more important than the amount of money saved, regardless of whether income is earned through job or investment. Individuals can seek counsel from a certified financial advisor to optimize financial outcomes, who can provide specialized advice and methods to decrease expenses and maximize income.
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.
I appreciate the implementation of ideas and strategies that result to unmeasurable progress. Being heavily liquid, I'd rather not reinvent the wheel, thus the search for a reputable advisor, mind sharing info of this person guiding you please?
Finding financial advisors like Natalie Noel Burns who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
Natalie has the appearance of being a great authority in her profession. I looked her up online and found her website, which I reviewed and went through to learn more about her credentials, academic background, and employment. She has a fiduciary duty to protect my best interests. I sent her an email outlining my objectives and also booked a session with her; thanks for sharing.
I started selling on Amazon 2 years ago. I had no experience at all, I worked at Chick Fil A, making almost minimum wage. I now make over 360k in net profit each year. I am now buying rental properties to rent out as well. It’s all thanks to this channel for inspiring me to step out of my comfort zone. I just want to thank you.
Work full time job, I have part time job, I do maintenance on weekends but I have 8, 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms apartments and a single family home. Soon paid off. People say I'm so lucky, but I'm not. All was hard work. California, where everything is more expensive.
Habit 1: wake up early (4:30 am) Use your weekends towards goals Habit 2: Visualize who want to be. Focus on the habits of who that is. Habit 3: kick bad habits that aren’t serving you (weed, games, alcohol) or anything holding you back. Stop poisoning body and mind. Habit 4: find your online business model, brand and image. Habit 5: side hustle with intention of being an entrepreneur not just for extra cash. Develop successful business to control time.
I don't agree with the last two, you don't need a side hustle you just need patience and the willingness to forgo a couple extra thousand dollars a year.
I went to brunch this weekend with friends who don’t make a huge income, live paycheck to paycheck, have no vision for retirement. They spent so much money at brunch. I chose to have basic avocado toast with water. But it made me see fully that I needed to surround myself with ppl who have rich ppl habits.
Thing is i believe ppl deserve to treat themselves but when i see the bill from eating out it’s too much! I go home still poor but it makes sense to get water, something light and keep a budgetS
This is quite educational. It's crucial for newcomers to keep in mind that the financial markets are highly irrational in the short run. You should constantly be ready for the unexpected. That is how chance operates. Because of the inherent risks in the market, I always favor long-term investments.
These uncertainties will always be there. Thing is, every once in a while, the market does something so stupid it takes your breath away. If youre not ready for it, you shouldnt be in the market business. or get you a skilled practitioner.
Exactly, I used to undermine the efficiency of a financial advisor until my wife company assigned her an investment adviser back in 2020 and tbh, it’s been the best financial decision I’ve made.

I’m 49 years old & started my business at 24. I’ve always followed the principles you mentioned naturally. The only thing I missed was investing in real estate much earlier and learning about tax strategies. Became a millionaire at 32, but would’ve been an 8 figure millionaire with a little more focus. Thank you for spreading financial literacy. Our people need it.
Don’t be too hard on yourself. You did well for yourself. If you were “a little more focused” you’d be richer yes but would your health be better or worse? Just be happy that you won in life and that you beat the game. We’re all proud of you.

I agree with a lot of his advice but PLEASE REST!! I see so many entrepreneurs burn themselves out. There will always be MORE work to do but you only get one body. Don’t make your body force you to rest because you’re hustling. Also don’t forget to hang with your friends! Maintaining your social life important. Get out of your office, get some work done at Starbucks. TAKE YOUR LUNCH! If you’re a parent PLEASE know when to prioritize your family!!! I encounter rich college students who lack compassion because their parents gave them money instead of TIME. Then they think $$ can solve all of life’s problems. Be human, don’t just hustle.
I agree! Being money minded is great, but resting is also great too. I’m definitely a go getter and have to remind myself to put in some time to rest or I’ll just continue to work 😅
I get the sneaky suspension that spending time with his family (as he mentioned at the end of the vid) is probably how he rests maybe he just didn't highlight that as resting. And if that is the case then I fully understand that when he said rest he meant taking a break from his goals/dreams kinda like not waking early to exercise on weekends. If that's what he means then I agree with him. Imma paste these tips on my wall and look at them everyday
Even though my wife's grandfather didn't earn much, he retired with over a million dollars. He saved $75 from every paycheck for 45 years and was cautious with his money. If he had invested in mutual funds, he could have been worth several million. It's not about how much you make, but how you manage your income.
Absolutely, my friend! Your advice is solid. I've been smart and frugal with my money, investing in the stock market. I'm up 30% in the last 18 months, with over $180k in profits. Seeking guidance from an experienced CFP has helped me outperform the markets. Good personal financial management is crucial, especially with the upcoming global finance storm.
I personally have my portfolio overseen by California-based wealth advisor and fixed income strategist at that 'Monica Selena Park' well established and you'd find her professional bio on the net. However I suggest you look closer to home, sometimes to move certain amount of money I am required to be in California.
Appreciate this recommendation, hopefully I can get some insight to where the market is headed and strategies to beat the downtrend with when I hear back from Monica.
Then you have Harvard doctors making bank at age 60+ and THEY STILL have student loans! So they are in debt. My daughter's councelor from high school told me that she knows a Dr like that. It's about what you do with your salary that is one of the most important things. Money is a tool that has to be used correctly. My mom, a registered nurse, retired early at age 60 when she saw her retirement accounts were worth around $1 million. And she was just a nurse. And she didn't even practice until she was like in her late 30s early 40s. She only took $25k in student loans for her bachelors. And paid it off before she retired.
I wake up whenever I want and sleep whenever I want and I'm pretty successful in life. No rush, no hustle, ideas come more. Copying others is great, finding what works for you is the best.
I had a rough day one day at work and my boss told me to get a drink after work to help me feel better. I was like "wow, wtf." But this is very common coping mechanism for a lot of people. Not for me. I cope with everything by doing what I love and by focusing on my dreams. I feel good.
Ngl it feels super impossible but i just did a visualization before getting out of bed and it helped me get out of bed and brush my teeth (recovering from depression and this has been hard to do) and now im gunna clean my room and fix my budget and work on my business ☺️

( bipolar 2 disorder) I used my credit cards a lot and I have racked up alot of debt. BUT guess what? I’m alive. I’m grateful that God has blessed me with another day. I also started a new job right after I graduated from my program. It’s my 4th day tomorrow.. but guess what? IT GETS BETTER🤍🤍✨✨ don’t lose hope or faith. YOU AND I WILL GET THERE. A moment at a time. Creating wealth entails establishing positive routines, such as consistently setting aside funds at regular intervals for sound investments. Financial management is a vital subject that many avoid, often leading to future regrets.
Indeed, currently I'm managing my finances wisely and being frugal. In the last 19 months, my investments grew by 43%, adding over $650K in profits. However, I've had losses in the past month, making me anxious. I'm unsure whether to sell everything or wait.
That’s why I make it a point to speak with a financial advisor before choosing any investments. I’ve been using one since the pandemic, using profits oriented tactics and minimizing risks as a buffer against inevitable downtrends. In addition they have access to insider knowledge and analysis, making failure virtually impossible for them. I’ve made about a million working with my advisor for over three years now.

Honestly, I want to thank you so much. I'm making 12k/month at the moment and I was just not growing, I didn't really know why, and all of a sudden I got this video recommended after a Sunday of doing nothing. I thought "fuck it I'll just watch it". After this video I immediately realised what I was doing wrong. I was OKE with only earning 12k/month I am getting lazy and enjoying life. I was back gaming with my old friends who just have normal jobs. I am 23 years old I need to WORK. After this video I deleted everything again, all my games, all distractions. Yes true, I have been in touch with a financial advisor. With an initial starting reserve off $80k, my advisor chooses the entry and exit commands for my portfolio, which has grown to approximately $550k.
I want to acknowledge the substantial contribution of *Camille Alicia Garcia* who upholds a robust online presence easily discoverable through a web search. Munger and Buffett have both achieved an incredible feat with Berkshire. They've turned thousands to billions, and have made a lot of people wealthy in the process. I really saw the potential of the stock market by reading Berkshire's annual letters. I recently sold my $674k apartment in the Bel Air area and I'm hoping to throw it into the stock market. I just don't want to lose everything.
You're absolutely right about the power of compound interest and the long-term potential of investing in index funds like the S&P 500. For many, passive investing in broadly diversified funds can be a reliable strategy over time.
This video is golden. I've been preaching this for the past year. Lol, you broke it down perfectly, simple yet profound. I must share this video with everyone I know!👏🏽💪🏾🙌🏾
Thank you Karlton for the daily gems! Aside from my mentor, you are the only person I watch/listen to daily to keep me motivated and on track to financial freedom. Appreciate everything you do!

You changed my life. I am done wasting weekends and waking up at 7am. I have been thinking about getting up at 5 to have my alone time to work on myself. Family and work takes all my time so I need to get up earlier
I lived by this advice for a decade. No going out to drink with friends, only investing my money not spending it, no enjoying the money I made or enjoying my life. Just work and more work. Then I got sick. I wish I could go back and spend time with friends, go on vacations with my wife work less, enjoy life.. I will never get that time back. Money does not make you happy, and it can all disappear in a split second.
This was huge. I feel it actually spoke to me. I've been investing for about a decade so I already consider myself pretty financially savvy. This video made me more cognizant of something I already knew...that I could be doing more. I just need to figure out what direction I'd like to go in. Thanks
Discipline, focus, purpose and vision, setting clear boundaries, more focus, more discipline with sacrifice. Surround yourself with people who have the same mindset.
I have added your videos to my morning listen on the way to work. This is packed full of gems. Thank you for passing along your knowledge. I have recently decided that this 9-5 is not something I want to entirely depend on. I dont just want a cushion, I want the whole damn factory ! The side hustle mindset is crucial. Will continue to follow and learn.
Listen .. when I wake up in the morning around 4- 5 I'm excited to get up and start my day ❤ it used to be a struggle. My purpose is what keeps my going?
What a wonderful video. I love the aggression behind it. Totally inspired and totally hungry to go out and get what is mine. Thank you. More power to ya! 💪🏿
This is incredible content! However, one point for pause it gave me - rest doesn’t have to be a waste. Authentic, replenishing, strategic rest is necessary to avoid burnout and is a game changer.
I'm a millionaire and a bit older. Agree with most of this as general rules and good mindset. Preach! That said it's fully possible to enjoy occasional treats, whatever that is for you. And for God's sake you can also be a millionaire as a W2! I really dislike the message these days that owning a biz is *THE* way. Not hating on entrepreneurs, I've been W2, 1099 and run my own businesses. You just have to know what game you're playing and play it well regardless of what it is. Keep up the good work and putting out these positive messages Karlton!
You're right that being a "salaryman" in some good-paying (usually "boring") career and smartly amassing a nest egg can work just as well. These TH-camrs probably figure owning shares still counts as the business owner dimension. Otherwise they seem stuck in the mindset that if you're an owner-manager, that is the only way you can be forced to save/invest money at some compounding growth rate. Which is obviously not the case.
@@davidglad Definitely there are many ways to approach it. Take a big tech programmer who comes out of college making $150k/yr and over the next decade works up to making $300k+ a year. They max 401k and get match from the employer. They live modestly for their income, invest smartly in the market, real estate, both and so on. They're gonna be a millionaire easily in their 30's. If they don't fall prey to lifestyle inflation, financial freedom isn't far. And they didn't need to rollercoaster of business ownership to do it. Not saying one way is better, just saying not everyone is built the same or has/takes advantage of the same opportunities. But having good strategy and the right mindset are keys regardless of the path.
Since I have worked for all of my Life in lower paying jobs, I now find myself close to retirement age without a decent nest egg. Therefore, I have decided to embrace AI and the Internet over the next few years, while still continuing to work at my current office job. I hope that within two or three years I will be financially strong enough to be able to retire with piece of mind. Wishing all of you much Success!🎉🎉
@@bigslacker666 I didn't see your message until today. I'd remark that a "tech bro" making that money likely would be in San Francisco or another high tax/cost of living area. Guess "van life" is an ultimate "house hack" in that situation while just appearing to be highly dedicated to be at the office a ton. While perhaps buying property in another area/state (hopefully where family or trusted friends can manage it) and, as you amass a portfolio, perhaps you'd time your paid vacation to briefly stay at your properties when they are vacant to see how they are doing. As for my own "Make do as a w2" adventure, my parents were thankfully gracious enough to let me live with them until my career finally took off in another part of the country. (What a _long_ runway they gave me!) For ways to save or at least avoid burying yourself in debt.
This is definitely a video of reflection on what everyone who doesn't want to be left behind should be focusing on. In the words of Myron Golden focus on intention and ignore all distractions and that's how you make your life better.

3 things that helped me and literally changed my life
1. I stopped watching porn
2. I read the book called ‘25 Money Secrets From Donald Trump’

Habit 1: wake up early (4:30 am)
Use your weekends towards goals
Habit 2: Visualize who want to be.
Thanks You For this Summary
this is so true. oh so true ❤

Or maybe help them understand better money habits?

Mind if I ask you to recommend this particular coach you using their service?

Naw they like burning out. Everyone thinks it's so cool to hustle and work 4 jobs
I agree. Rest is important

I had a rough day one day at work and my boss told me to get a drink after work to help me feel better. I was like "wow, wtf." But this is very common coping mechanism for a lot of people. Not for me. I cope with everything by doing what I love and by focusing on my dreams. I feel good.
That’s right, those mechanisms if you know how to apply them are always very helpful

I left that job due to my mental health. 2023 I’ve been in and out of the mental hospital and was in a women’s trauma program for 4 months. Due to my mental health .. Awww wow!!! I’m so happy for you, good going! Stay around good people, good ideas, and pray. God Bless you.

You're absolutely right about the power of compound interest and the long-term potential of investing in index funds like the S&P 500. For many, passive investing in broadly diversified funds can be a reliable strategy over time.

Simply put, if you’re not investing in dividend stocks, you’re doing it wrong.I stopped listening and taking financial advise from these TH-camrs, because at the end of the day, I end up with a bunch of confusing stocks without knowing when to take profit, In reality, all I needed was professional advice to take advantage and make profits.
Very much appreciate it Scholars who study the stock market’s historical performance estimate that over time, the payment (and reinvestment, and compounding) of dividends have contributed anywhere from 30% to 90% of the S&P 500’s total returns. @@maryHenokNft I appreciate the implementation of ideas and strategies that result to unmeasurable progress. Being heavily liquid, I'd rather not reinvent the wheel, thus the search for a reputable advisor, mind sharing info of this person guiding you please?
She's known as *Gertrude Margaret Quinto* One of the finest portfolio managers in the field. She's widely recognized; you should take a look at her work.
Thanks for the advice. The search for your coach was simple. I investigated her well before using her services. Considering her résumé, she appears competent.
Having spent years in the Marine Corps makes me recognize your excellence even more. I’m so proud of you. You’re awesome 👏… thank you kindly for sharing this video. You were meant to do what you’re doing right now! Keep up the good work!
This video was absolute GOLD!! Wow Karlton you really hit the nail on the head. I will watch this video on repeat up until I adopt all these habits in my life in order to become successful!!
This video is edited incredibly. Thank you for making the time & putting in your energy here ❤️
Not that this was your goal, but you just earned a subscription. We’re different but ridiculously similar in path. It’s scary. You just checked the hell out of me and you dont even know me. Thank you sir!
Your a real one man! I watched I don’t know how many of your videos when I was in the process of starting my business and it has played a huge role in my success over the last year! Great information, but more importantly you have helped me change my mindset and how I view and tackle life which was my main goal when I decided to make a change. Thank you sir!
As an investing enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?
I definitely needed to stumble apon this
Thanks for the reminders. I’m up at 5am even on weekends. Time is precious to me and I vision my life and what I want it to be🙌🏾
Oh Karlton. You're my favorite ❤❤❤. I will play this video every day for the next month Cause this is what I needed to create what I'm creating.
I needed to hear this. Thank you! This Mantra is getting played every morning to keep me focused! Karlton the goat for real 🙌🏽
Thank you for this encouraging video! I have been convicted lately for relaxing and having fun on the weekends when I REALLY need to be working more on my finances and business.
And I definitely need to get up earlier to start my day!😊
Appreciate this reminder to keep going forward, really appreciate this Karlton 100%.
GEMS 💎💎💎 Taking what you said and applying it to my daily life.
I watched this and every single point that you made was constructed eloquently. These spoke to me as someone who’s almost done paying down their student loans when the world around shrugged it off. I definitely need to adopt waking up sooner, sleeping better on a daily basis so my weekends are wasted. Thank so much for speaking truth to power! Many hugs! 💛
Helped me get back to work I often find myself slipping away from the things I need to build this life I’m trying to make and this video definitely helped me get my mind back right
video! I really can’t express how grateful I am to this channel for recommending Doris Janette Maule, her services are exceptional and I've been earning greatly from investing with her
I got laid off my job and started investing in February, invested 34k in the market and my portfolio is currently worth slightly over 270k. That's alot more than I make in a year from my job. I’m glad I didn’t shy away from investing with her
@@Evan_Trevor How is she able to grow your account at that rate, there is not much happening in the stocks and crypt0 market at the moment
@@CoryLafund One thing people should know is that a crash and bullish market provides equal high-yield potential. I got to know that after investing with Mrs Doris Janette Maule. I've seen folks make huge 7 figure profit in crashing market. Personally I’ve made over $310k this year. We can only imagine what will happen in a bullish market.
@@CoryLafund There are quite a number of undervalued stocks and Defi assets available in the market. You can also short the market, there’s a lot that can be done to maximize profit in a bear market
I came across this name while watching a video on CNBC, there wasn't much information about her on the show. Could you pass along her info because i would love to try out her service for myself?
I love all your content! You are such my vibe and speak my frequency! Thank you for putting your passion out on content 🤍
I began my investment journey at the age of 33, primarily through hard work and dedication. Now at the age of 38, I am thrilled to share that my passive income exceeded $100k in a single month for the first time. This success reinforces the importance of the advice mentioned earlier. It is not about achieving quick wealth, but rather ensuring long-term financial prosperity.
Through closely monitoring the performance of my portfolio, I have witnessed a remarkable growth of $483k in just the past two quarters. This experience has shed light on why experienced traders are able to generate substantial returns even in lesser-known markets. It is safe to say that this bold decision has been one of the most impactful choices I have made recently.
Unbelievably well spoken and excellent advice!!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I needed to hear this video. I have been stuck in the rat race, trying to get out for years, I just kept falling into certain habits. This video is helping me to change the way I think. Thanks Karlton for making this video.
You are spitting that real knowledge. Just liked and subscribed. Thanks for the boost this morning.
Everything was dope, except the poison part, there are plenty of successful people who drink alcohol and smoke weed..😊
Whew! Ok I tried getting up early this morning; I actually did it! Turned my world upside down; body is Not used to it, but imma keep it up bcuz I'm so late achieving my financial goals in life, even retirement. Thank you much Karlton!👍
One of the most motivating, inspiring, and poignant videos I've ever heard. You're a preacher. Almost had me in tears about the poison. I appreciate this (non tax-advice) content.
Wasting weekends... bro, that is SO powerful!
