A world class player in at times an average team. If United had had a few players of Bryan's quality and class just think how successful they would have been. Thanks for the many great memories Bryan - and I'm not a United supporter.

Manchester United of the 80s was my favorite united team, with captain marvel at the helm. Best box to box player I'll have seen and created and scored loads of goals.

Im a Fan of Liverpool Its important to APPRECIATE other players from other CLUBS. THIS IS WHERE ID TAKE BRYAN OVER KEANE BECAUSE HE SCORED MORE GOALS AND HE COULD BE SEEN FOR ME AS A LOVELY HUMAN BEING. I WISH YOU WELL MR ROBSON.

Bryan Robson story starts at The Hawthorns West Bromwich Albion!
The greatest player The most complete the most perfect footballer ever.
Terrible day when he left, it left a crater in our midfield which we've never really filled.

Yeah. Robson was being kind when he said he wondered how he was going to get into that United team. In reality he left a much better West Brom team to join a very average Man Utd side. We can only wonder what might have happened if Giles stayed on as manager with Regis, Cunningham, Robson et al all coming into the first team.

      @@wbafc1231, yep agreed.
Robson was a great. Cunningham was brilliant on his day also and barring injury he could of been anything

As a kid I was at the game against Coventry when Robbo broke his shoulder... He landed in front of me and my mate over the hoardings in the Stretford End.. I tried to knick one of his New Balance boots but only I ended up with a bit of grass and mud from his studs..

Like Steven Gerrard at Liverpool Bryan Robson was the all time greatest player at the club whilst they weren’t winning the league.
By the time the Premier League was under way he was no longer a regular in the team.

So much footage here I havent seen before, proof he was willing to do all the ugly stuff the best.
Maradona was lucky Robson wasn't fit for the 86 quarter final. I cant see Maradona being able to shake off Robson

Robson said recently that it would be unlikely that Maradona would have scored the second if he was in England's midfield that day.
