I always wanted to know who that Dash's spokes gal was. Man was she something else. I say she was about 25 at that time and I was 17 in Oct of 83, would have worked out perfectly. Always hated our local TV spots who would have know that less than 20 years later I would be in the video production business and had made plenty of local TV spots but my stuff looks a lot better than those old clunkers.

Dash’s, now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long, long time.
Luke: I think my uncle knows him. He said he was dead.
“Oh, he's not dead... Not yet.”
Luke: You know him?
“Of course I know him: He's me”
@@nikidash5607 If you are then who was that incredible beauty spokes gal? I had such a thing for her back in the day.
I was hoping to see an NBC News Digest with Jessica Savitch. This was the day before her disaster on air and 21 days before her death.
Not on late Sunday evenings after 11:30pm(et), which is when "NBC LATE NIGHT MOVIE" was scheduled- from 1977 through '84.
Her second Digest that infamous night was less a disaster than the first. She was a bit more together, comparatively speaking, than the hour before. Unfortunate that got lost in all the hubbub that followed.
I actually like WRC's version of NBC's "Be There" campaign.
