I am doing a research using Bibliometric method! I am very lucky to stumble upon such an informative and valuable content for free of cost. Thank you so much!
Very informative seminar. Thank you very much for this. Meanwhile, in trying to wrap my head around the difference between co-citation and bibliographic coupling, I noticed that the definitions are right and different (based on Dr. Moosa's explanation) but the illustrations for co-citation (1:41:18) and bibliographic coupling (1:42:11) are essentially the same (just flipped over) based on the labeling. In bibliographic coupling, I think c,d, and e should be labeled"cited publications."
Glad to have found this channel. I am an early career academic and this channel is very helpful. I found you from another workshop on how to publish in SSCI with another professor. I am from Trinidad and Tobago and will be binge watching your channel

Hello Dr. Faizan, on VOSviewer the co-authorship network displays all the authors who published a paper like not showing the single authors name in a network? Also, it is not possible to identify how many papers a single author published because the software uses the names of collaborators as well! ?? For example an author named Xiao published 6 papers in a field with different collaborators, but the software is showing each paper separately! How can we solve this problem??? For ur reference I extracted data from the scopus data base !! Thank you for your help
I am trying to do bibliometric analysis using vosviewer. But in 'type of analysis' options are not active except for co-occurrence and co- authorship. Can you suggest a solution for this?
