I have the GP Shorties on my Indian Scout Bobber, had them for about a year. They are very affordable and easy to install. Switching to them from the factory exhaust tips shaved almost 30lbs off the bike and they are very loud. I am very happy with them. May switch to wrapped drag pipes later, but I am in no rush as I am very happy with Shorties in the interim.
I like the trip machine leather wraps. They go over your existing grips. You may need to apply a little extra adhesive to really get them to seal up nice and tight. I just like the leather look though, so you may not be as interested. I have them sitting in my basement waiting for the bike to come to put them on. The reviews seem good and there are some videos online on how to apply them and what they look like when wrapped. Just a suggestion.
If you order accessories from indian when you biuld your bike do you pay for installation charges might be a dumb question but just wondering because I'm going to order a bike but if they charge installing fees I'll do it my self at home
I'm going through the same thing with my Indian scout rogue just looking at the bar hoping the line moves to and in transit . I put my order in back in February and I'm still waiting but the bike has been built just waiting to be shipped
@@cmatycycles8286 It says it's going through the inspection process right now but I feel you it hurts my feelings every time the bike rides past my house and I can't get out and ride with them.
I just got my scout 60 rouge last week. Put the order back at the beginning of March. Got an estimated ship date to be by end of May. Never got thru built status. 2 weeks ago, status jumped to built. And got to the dealer before the a 3 days after ship notification was sent out. Was told it would take a week to get out here to California 🤷. Love it
I had the gp shorty's. I liked them, my ears did not especially on the interstate. Went with the dean speed rampage slip-ons 100% improvement and worth every bit of the wait for them.
@@cmatycycles8286 for the price you can't beat the sound they produce. After a few highway miles they get kinda annoying. But they do sound BADASS! It's like hearing your vance and hines for the first time but x10! THEY ARE LOUD!
@@cmatycycles8286 If he wants loud then he'll be happy. I really wanted a two brothers 2-1 but I'm a dean speed junkie and went with the rampage slip-ons. I wish they sold the 12 gauge full exhaust still or I would've got that! If looks could kill, damnit those would do the trick!
On the scheduled to be built step it will eventually update and say scheduling build: ship date x/xx/xx I ordered a persuit on 3/24/22 and it says it will be shipped 6/24/22. I'm dying waiting lol

That's awesome, it's definitely going to be loud hopefully doesn't over power the senas when we try to talk 🤣
Currently on scheduled for build
check out the vans cult grips btw! you can cut the ends off and make it work for the bar ends. Best $20 you can spend on an upgrade for sure
Nice I'll be looking that up for sure! I want new grips so bad!
@@cmatycycles8286 there's so many colors to choose from too! Again, for the price, you can't beat em like a sore peter 👌
My bobber has been stuck on scheduled to be built for 13 weeks now. Ordered in March
Ughh man that's horrible! It's gonna be well worth the wait though I promise!
This covid era sucks seems like anything fun you can buy is a arm and a leg to get now

Ugh man that's pure torture! I don't get why they don't just ship it out already!

It's so worth the wait though, trust me.

Oh man! They must be loud lol I love my Vance and Hines and have yet to get tired of listening to them after a long ride.

Well that's good to hear, maybe my buddy doesn't have much longer he ordered on April 11th I believe the wait is horrible lol
@@cmatycycles8286 I would count on it shipping on July 11th. Mine is suppose to ship exactly 12 weeks
That's definitely good news not much longer now!
I’d recommend the RCX 3” slash cuts, roughly about $300
Sound is excellent-
I'm waiting for my scout i have my extras waiting to mod
I was told 8 weeks
That’s what he was told and he’s on 10 weeks now still scheduled to be built. The anticipation is killing us! The website says 12+ weeks.
Yeah my sales guy said 8 weeks they were getting faster now
All i can do is wait
Hey brother i have a ship date 👍
Looking forward to it
