  • We successfully completed the HyPER-15 (150kN) #rocketengine ignition sequence test. It was exhilarating to hear the roar of the largest #hybrid #rocket motor to be used in our HANBIT #smallsat #launcher. All systems performed within the expected parameters. It was the first in the series of tests that will lead up to the full-duration test. #aerospace #space #hybridrocket #sslv #이노스페이스

    wow look at the coking during shutdown! talk about "rolling coal"!!! look at that!! These people know how to keep an engine cool :)
    Is your valve sequencing private? If it's not I'd love to see your valve positions during startup and shutdown in your next video

      You can categorize rockets in three groups accordingly with their respective fuel and oxidizer, being:
      - Liquid Engine: The rocket uses liquid fuel and liquid oxidizer, for example.: Kerosene, and Liquid Oxygen.
      - Solid Booster: The oxidizer and the fuel are solidified in the combustion chamber, just like in the fireworks.
      - Hybrid Engines: Either the fuel or the oxidizer is solidified in the combustion chamber, the other is a liquid that is sprayed in the combustion chamber just like in a Liquid Engine.
