This is simply wonderful! Congratulations and I hope this performance will spread among all the lovers of GREAT music. For the FIRST time we can hear this enormously difficult work, with tons of dissonances, executed in a perfect way. Such perfect and clean bowing! Such excellent synchronization within all the players, without being metronomic. For the first time we can hear the incredible two-layers polyrhythm (200 years before Stravinsky) in Juxta Crucem. Nobody discovered it until this execution. Excellent voices too. This Stabat Mater should be considered a masterpiece of chromatic and dissonant harmony describing sorrow feelings, and no surprise it was deleted by the "Confraternita dei Cavalieri di San Luigi di Palazzo" in favor of the "easy-listening" Pergolesi's one, because it was considered too difficult to understand at its time. We Italians are no longer able to perform our historical music, we are living a terrible musical and cultural moment and fortunately there are institutions in Europe like yours that come to our aid.
The responsiveness of the ensemble with the singers is so good and gives such spontaneity to this performance. Superb articulation and phrasing too. Music of this period ‘speaks’ in gestures and harmonic impetus which only historically informed musicians at the top of their game can render expressively, as opposed to pedestrian notes on a page. Wonderful performance - bravo and thank you.

It is very beautiful and quite well interpreted. But violinists who gesticulate to outrage, I am less likely to appreciate the real value of the vocal play of interpreters. I feel like disturbed by the mimics exercised over time and that are done throughout the pieces. We no longer hear the music, we see instrumentalists who hobbly.-- -C'est très beau et assez bien interprété.
If for some strange reason the perfectly normal playing of the instrumentalists has sexual connotations for you that prevent your appreciating the music, might I suggest that you listen with your eyes closed before visiting a therapist to sort out your problem.
@@brucewalter7287 Poor Bruce! you might never know something about true music, especially that kind of chamber music. If you missinterpreted my comment which is in just a few words in english and french ( to make sure there is no mis undertanding) how can you deal with life?

Extremely beautiful, Hana Blažíková looks like an austere and venerable mourning vestal, how wonderful she is!
Magnificent reverence ..one answer to the question what it is to be human..totally beautiful 🎩🦄🙏🏿🙏👏👏👏👏

🙏🏻🖤 The most beautiful rendering ever. 🖤🙏🏻
Markéta Cukrová's voice seems especially well-suited to works by Alessandro Scarlatti.
The violins are VERY on-point. Kudos to Lenka & the crew! 🎻🎵
Beautiful. Masterpiece.
Congratulations for your great sensivity.beautifully sung and played.
Truly sublime ! So many thanks !
Utterly magnificent. Period.
Wunderschöne Musik!
Just plain old good work. Thanks from Philadelphia
opera splendida.... splendida esecuzione, grazie. Pergolesi conclude un percorso iniziato da tempo
Bellissimo!
bravissimi!
Colossal🌹
That's a ticket💐
Amazing!
Opus de Scarlatti compositum per artem!
Wunderschön! Danke an alle!
Could someone explain to me the practice of having the instrumentalists play standing? (excluding cellists and keyboardist of course).
Hana Blažiková, soprano Markéta Cukrová, alto
Yes, strings sound is superior!
Pergolesi wrote a better intro, but overall this Stabat Mater might be better.
My name is Alessandro and i can tell i dont have the talent of this Scarlatti family member.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY??? 😪😭😭😭😭😭

terrible performance
Pllease explain, why is it terribly performed?
