When we talk about Singularity, ARMY always ignore its main composer/producer who truly made this neo-soul song happened. RM wrote the lyrics but Charlie J Perry composed, arranged and mainly produced it. Plz give the right credit to the right man and show respect to him as well. It was just one member haha his name is V and he loves these soulful almost sultry songs, he listens to a ton of jazz and his range is insane. BTS does a lot of solo songs and subunits where they'll have just a couple of the members or all vocalists/ all rappers etc. One of my favourite things about BTS is how much creative control they have over their music, and it's why there's so much diversity in their music because all of the members have the opportunity to bring something to the table. V is definitely my favourite vocalist of the group but trust me once you get a little deeper into their music catalogue you'll be like how is this the same group doing all of these genres.

Ah my bias of BTS😫🔥 Taehyung (or V) has an incredible voice, perfect for that rich, neo soul/jazz music which he listens to often. He is inspired by older artists like Sarah Vaughan, Louis Armstrong, Eric Benet and so on. Highly recommend “Stigma”, it’s his other solo from their album Wings.
There is a tradition in bts everytime they will released a full album they will introduced it through a comeback trailer done by a certain member. That time it was v's (Kim taehyung) turn. The V or Kim Taehyung that you saw has a great love for jazz, soul, R&B and classics, he plays sax and trumpet and does unexpected and beautiful duets and covers with Umi, Mia and on November 29th there will be new jazz music and on the 6th December A Christmas Present singing with Bin Crosby. Another good choice would be Festa Room Live 2021. They perform snippets of their B-Side tracks timetraveling through their discography from 2013 until now. It's only about 10 minutes long but will give you a good impression on their versatility.

A unique position that BTS is in is that they went abroad to the US to learn about hip hop and it’s roots to truly understand what it means to the black community and how to properly make hip hop music authentically. They learned from some of the greats in the hip hop world in the US. I believe it’s why a lot of hip hop lovers/R&B lovers appreciate and love BTS’s hip hop tracks and R&B tracks. You are making the same journey many BTS fans make, from opening one's mind, to giving the music a fighting chance, to starting to embrace the idea that you can enjoy music without understanding the lyrics, to realizing you can "get" what they're communicating without the lyrics. I find that once I do the few minutes of "research" to read the lyrics and/or understand the underlying themes/messages, I don't need the lyrics anymore. The next step for you guys is fully embracing BTS as the stellar artists that they are - no equivocation. It's okay...it'll come. It always does. 🙂 One of the things that makes BTS the group that they are is the fact that the members have such diverse tastes in music, and they all influence the type of music put out under the band's name. Sometimes they sing together, sometimes in smaller groups (sub-units), sometimes as solos. They aren't afraid to stretch themselves - EVER. In fact, they are constantly challenging themselves and evolving as artists. When you go back and follow their musical journey, you can't help but be amazed and inspired. The telltale sign of someone who doesn't know BTS is if they try to pigeonhole them, or say that they are just the faces of some Korean label music machine, or that they don't/can't actually sing and definitely not in live performances. When someone makes those kinds of comments, it's very clear they have listened to just one or two songs and nothing more at all. It's just that obvious how good they are if you give them and their music even a cursory glance.

When we talk about Singularity, ARMY always ignore its main composer/producer who truly made this neo-soul song happened. RM wrote the lyrics but Charlie J Perry composed, arranged and mainly produced it. Plz give the right credit to the right man and show respect to him as well. We can't always discredit ppl only because they are not members of BTS.

It was just one member haha his name is V and he loves these soulful almost sultry songs, he listens to a ton of jazz and his range is insane. BTS does a lot of solo songs and subunits where they'll have just a couple of the members or all vocalists/ all rappers etc. One of my favourite things about BTS is how much creative control they have over their music, and it's why there's so much diversity in their music because all of the members have the opportunity to bring something to the table. V is definitely my favourite vocalist of the group but trust me once you get a little deeper into their music catalogue you'll be like how is this the same group doing all of these genres.

Ah my bias of BTS😫🔥 Taehyung (or V) has an incredible voice, perfect for that rich, neo soul/jazz music which he listens to often. He is inspired by older artists like Sarah Vaughan, Louis Armstrong, Eric Benet and so on. Highly recommend “Stigma”, it’s his other solo from their album Wings.
There is a tradition in bts everytime they will released a full album they will introduced it through a comeback trailer done by a certain member. That time it was v's (Kim taehyung) turn.
Fun fact : Most of their comeback trailer songs were composed/written by them. Bts is really passionate with their crafts from intro to outro.

The V or Kim Taehyung that you saw has a great love for jazz, soul, R&B and classics, he plays sax and trumpet and does unexpected and beautiful duets and covers with Umi, Mia and on November 29th there will be new jazz music and on the 6th December A Christmas Present singing with Bin Crosby. The solo album Layover has this proposal and, if you can, watch Tiny Desk Korea with V... it was wonderful!!! They have a lot of incredible work and curiously they like their own styles, but when they are together and live they are perfect.

Theyre allowed to make solo songs which makes them very unique from other groups because the company allows them to freely express themselves. No beef and it's so beautiful seeing how completely different they are but when they come together, it's still all sooo cohesive which goes to show how talented they are 🥺

SINGULARITY is the intro/opening song for BTS' 2018 Album "Love Yourself : Tear" ["Love Yourself" is a Trilogy Album, it has three parts all connected to eachother saying an over arching story]. BTS has both group songs and Solo songs in their group albums. So this was Solo song by the Member V and this man is just incredible. Singularity is also the most critically acclaimed solo song as well. The song is an absolute masterpiece to say the least as it has very deep meaning to it.

A unique position that BTS is in is that they went abroad to the US to learn about hip hop and it’s roots to truly understand what it means to the black community and how to properly make hip hop music authentically. They learned from some of the greats in the hip hop world in the US. I believe it’s why a lot of hip hop lovers/R&B lovers appreciate and love BTS’s hip hop tracks and R&B tracks. Sometimes they sing together, sometimes in smaller groups (sub-units), sometimes as solos. They aren't afraid to stretch themselves - EVER. In fact, they are constantly challenging themselves and evolving as artists. When you go back and follow their musical journey, you can't help but be amazed and inspired. The telltale sign of someone who doesn't know BTS is if they try to pigeonhole them, or say that they are just the faces of some Korean label music machine, or that they don't/can't actually sing and definitely not in live performances. When someone makes those kinds of comments, it's very clear they have listened to just one or two songs and nothing more at all. It's just that obvious how good they are if you give them and their music even a cursory glance.
