@@youngdouglas6624 Happens sometimes. Because of the stage breaks this race, there was no fuel strategy at all which takes away from the drama and legitimacy. Call me old school but the implementation of the stages in the first place was one of the worst things NASCAR did. It's why I've drifted away towards Indycar and Sportscar racing. The idea of throwing the green flag and letting the drivers run the advertised time/distance is now a borderline foreign concept to NASCAR. Not one other sanctioning body to my knowledge has even thought of using the concept.
@@ceeinfiniti1389 Yeah but it were always about fuel strategy they'd be running 4 cylinder engines. Listening to NASCAR Radio on Sirius this week the main complaint was no caution breaks during Watkins Glen made for extremely boring racing. Nobody wants to see 1 or 2 cars get out to a 14 second lead. Back in the All Star Race if they hadn't had the cautions, Larson would've lapped the field. Making North Wilkesboro's return terrible.
Fairly good race overall. Only thing they can do better IMO is to ax the stage cautions so green flag fuel strategy would come into play.
Nope, the no "stage cautions" made the road courses downright boring to watch.

Congratulations Allgier!!! I wish I could have watched this race on tv, pay tv sucks. Great win though to go into the championship races. Momentum!!!!
Last 10 laps were unreal. Happy for Allgaier, but felt equally bad for Creed.
