7:30 I made a youtube playlist of everything that Daniel was WOW'd by (since I think Daniel and I had somewhat similar flavor profile likings, But I've gotten lazy in 2021, as the list of "potential buys" is so big already)...unfortunately I also added in videos where Daniel reads my comments, but luckily those are ones that are obviously not fancy sounding whiskeys so it's easy, so I still can list a few where Daniel finds a new favorite (or something super unique) such as: Westland Garryana, Kilchoman Madeira Cask, Kavalan Ex Bourbon Oak, Woodinville Straight Bourbon (Port Cask), Ransom The Emerald, etc.
How do they distinguish what requires a locked vault above what they are currently in? How many vaults are there and does each vault have a locked cabinet? Explain your whiskey-inception.
Tried this at a Total Wine class tonight: it was too suite after the 12 year, but perfect after the rum that followed it. It is a budget bomb in 2024 Scottsdale.
I tried a bottle of Grangestone after a sale pitch by Total Wine employees. At the time I didn't understand that Total Wine pushed Grangestone because they get more profit. It's really a dishonest approach. I was really disappointed after trying it, and even more disappointed when I found out why Total Wine threw BS at me to push it.
I resist buying any whisky from total wine that they want to push on me. That includes their "employee" recommendation stickers that they put next to the price stickers.
Oh God you're so right they used to argue all time and suggest no you should definitely try this it's so much better for a price, I used to explain them I understand you guys pushing your stuff on me but it not necessarily means it's better than what I wanted to get, plus I already tried a lot of this stuff. I guess they used to me so they just ignore me don't even approach just let me get whatever I want and leave me alone.)))))
Budget whisk(e)y aged a decade plus four. A nose with duality Is found taking the floor. Rex gives us a gift difficult to repay, an apt and attractive word, "bi-quet."
I like Total Wine, they have almost everything at usually great prices however I bought a couple of bottles (whiskey and wine) that they were pushing and was disappointed, I don't buy anything they are pushing anymore.
Thank you so much for the excellent tasting notes. (Just saved me $50 bucks.) However! Would it be too much trouble to mention the length of the finish more often than you do. I have many types, flavors and styles of whisk(e)y that I like and finding one with a long, lovely and lingering finish verges on unicorn rarity. A little help guys....
The Silly Goose Vodka. But If I remember right, it’s only being sold at three Locations in the Austin area. One is in Bee Cave, but I can’t remember the others.
I've not had Aberfeldy 12, but I picked up Glen Morangie's Nectar D'or (single malt scotch, aged in bourbon casks, with a sauternes wine barrel finish), and was thoroughly impressed, personally... It's a really nice little dram to enjoy on a warm spring afternoon. It is a bit heavy on the fruit sweetness end of things, though not overwhelmingly so, but it's still got enough going on to kinda dive into on a neat pour, and really, really opens up beautifully with just a couple of drops of water. I wouldn't call it a budget bottle, by any means, I got it for just shy of $70 USD, in my area, but I really like it, and my GF, who isn't really much for whiskey, loves the stuff.
Please start an Instagram, it would be like a vault of cool pictures of whisky and lots of information, I think it would be really benefit both you and the viewer
I will always love the budget ToW video.
It's like they've switched places. Rex does his damnedest to give tasting notes while Daniel wanders away just completely over it 😆
I was thinking this same thing
@@zewhiskeymeizzer9467 watch it all be planned and part of the storyline and Daniel was imbued with mooch powers xD
Fancy Dan plays a major role these days too
I would like a supercut of every time Daniel says "Good Night!"
The funk sound always gets me.
Never have I seen a better intro

You just made life a whole lot easier for this Magnificent Bastard!!! Thank you and keep up the awesome work you Magnificent Bastard 🤓🧐🧔🏽🥃
The creepy Daniel painting is what us cultists put candles around during our cult activities...
I’ve found Grangestone to be a good value, and that’s about it.
These don’t exist outside of the US it seems. Great value stuff. Cheers boys.
It is at total wine. Hope you can drive over the border
Love your videos too!
Beutiful dram, PX finish.
@@danswank3378 not sure when that will start again. I miss the good old days.
@@domingocorona7028 thanks Domingo 🙏🏻
Good Morning MB's
Looks like I will be making a spreadsheet AND watching a “horse shit” load of videos at 2X’s speed🧐🧔🏽🥃looking for those specific set of words.
Good Morning Gentlemen.
Thank goodness Dan explained Daniel's joke, I didn't catch it.
Rex made a dad joke... this is a sign of the end times where there will be nothing of vodka to drink and everyone talks about mouthfeel.
I have had grangestone once and i will not be doing that again. I think it was the 10 year sherry cask
How do they distinguish what requires a locked vault above what they are currently in? How many vaults are there and does each vault have a locked cabinet? Explain your whiskey-inception.
We forgot Daniel saying "goooddd night" whiskeys as well
Absolutely agree sweet and peppery, not complex or super interesting but not bad for 14-year-old.
Mrs. Bucket, lady of the house speaking.

So is "trash titan" a status(temporary) or title(permanent)?
Does that belong in the whiskey tribe. Like a Magnificant basterd or Saint?
First time I've seen Daniel without the Flava Flave medallion!!
Another quality video
+1 Fancy Dan. Nice work.
Look out. It's the Bucket woman. (Keeping up appearances)
For 50 bucks, 2 words, Rare Breed.
Is that a portrait of Daniel dressed as Napoleon? Did I miss something?
Please! I would like to see a video of your favorite 3 whiskeys and just enjoying them
Yall should review the Grangestone Sherry Cask finish. It's pretty budget and has a sweet floral leathery nose.

Ok need explanation of portrait at time stamp 2 52. Thanks and hello MBs!
Greasings and lubrications you MBs!! 🥃🥃🥃
Got my Silly Goose...I'll let you know how my Gimlet goes tonight...
I need to try this one
Well done...
How much to go rewatch every episode to create the list? 😂
Make sure to add every time he says "goodnight!" Lol

Did you say Biquay? Also why don't you set up a card file like the Dewey Decimal system of the Whiskeys so that Daniel can find them?
Millions of peaches, peaches for me. Millions of peaches, peaches for free
if this were a $30 - $35 bottle, I would pick it up.
Wait... What products of theirs is in total wine?
What products do you guys have at Total Wine?
The Silly Goose Vodka. But If I remember right, it’s only being sold at three Locations in the Austin area. One is in Bee Cave, but I can’t remember the others.
wonder if they can get sponsored by getty, pexel, and istock?
I thought for sure you were going to grab the monkey shoulder until I saw how long the video was. ;)
What product do they have a total wine?
From what I remember it’s Silly Goose Vodka, but it’s only sold in Austin TX I think.
I WANT THAT SHIRT REX! WHERE CAN I GET ONE?
'cept why is whisky spelled with an "e" in it?
I like the Grangestone 14. It’s not drop your pants good but I like it enough.
I think it's the best thing they put out. Which is a pretty low bar clear.
Could you guys recomend me a whiskey that is aprochable and tasty as or more than aberfeldy 12
I've not had Aberfeldy 12, but I picked up Glen Morangie's Nectar D'or (single malt scotch, aged in bourbon casks, with a sauternes wine barrel finish), and was thoroughly impressed, personally... The lack of proper focus on the bottle close up shots is a passive aggressive rebellion against the man MMAAAAAANNNNNNNNN!
"I remember the name" LOL
I got the regular bottle of grangestone and hated it. Gave it away after two pours.
trash titans... I like that...
GOOD MORNING YOU MB'S.. 🥃
Whats the deal with the trash titan?
They’ve sent in soooo many bottles that they broke the budget for the intro
Please start an Instagram, it would be like a vault of cool pictures of whisky and lots of information, I think it would be really benefit both you and the viewer
Look at that face 9:18
Pretty sure it's $50 for a 1.75 bottle. Not 750. So, it's quite the deal.
Anyone else think that creepy portrait of Daniel belongs in a haunted castle somewhere?
Is nobody going to ask about the painting?
There are a several of excellent highland single malts in the $40-$50 range. If this is just OK, then it's a pass.
Do you guys hear the sound effects Dan adds in post while shooting? why else would you say funk so many times in a row?
Bouquet a deux as opposed to bi-quet.
Hello.
Not 1st
Man, if nothing else, I applaud you for you consistency
This is the TX Blended of scotch lol jk idk
18th
OK, after careful consideration I've decided.
I dislike Rex more.
I’m not going back and watching this horseshit. Nooo, no this is a… terrible waste of everyone’s time lmfaoo
