I hated the last tour aswell. It was done on the cheap. All the actors played their own musical instruments and the set was cheap. It was directed by Craig Revel Horwood. I'm seeing this incarnation at Bristol in March (23). Looking fwd to it. Also, like you, I was lucky enough to see Whoopi when she appeared in London. Very memorable experience. Thanks for the good review.

Just got back from London where we saw Frozen, Dear Evan Hansen and &Juliet. I’m hoping to see six and Unfortunate in August.
