I gave my daughter a car when she turned 16. Turned around and got her another one when she went to college and she still doesn't speak to me. I was incarcerated most of her adolescence and have tried all that I know to make amends. Material things can not make up for lost time. It's crazy because all my nieces and cousins think I'm the ish but not my daughter. I will forever live in regret but also in hope that she will one day change her mind about me.

Im goin through the same thang wit my daughters momma she was locked up and going yo rehabs when my child was 3 -9 and then i let her come back in my child life and talked my daughters grandma which is the mothers momma back into letting my baby momma have relations with my daughter and a few years go by and now the grandma and the momma done turned on me and made ne out to be a bad dad making lies on me and all kinda insidious stuff and now im the bad guy . I was even raising up my daughters lil brother that aint even mine because in ny heart he is because its my daughters brother which makes him my son regardless but ive said enough judt had to get that out . It sounds like his daughter's mother (and grandmother) was this way from day one. So my question to Boosie would be, when your daughter was much younger why didn't you petition the courts for full custody? You had the money and opportunity to protect your daughter, and you decided not to do so. You don't get to now complain about how she turned out, when you too had a hand in it happening. In other words, it didn't have to be this way!
So you're blaming the father for allowing his child's mother the opportunity to be a mother? No, that's not how this is supposed to be.
