That’s so awful I’m so sorry to hear that. Hopefully you and your wife can heal and continue to be okay. Anthony and his wife had multiple miscarriages and he wrote a lot about it in Blue Sky Noise. It’s just an awful curse nobody should have to go through.

what a journey this song is, i feel like anthony is leading me through a story in his mind. Seems very self-aware with where he is in life right now and what he needs to do and be in the future.
My best friend growing up adored Circa Survive and Anthony Green, he was hit and killed by a drunk driver a few years back now and this song really brings up all those great memories we once shared going on our adventures listening to bands like Circa Survive together. Couldn't thank the guys in this band enough for making those memories feel so alive and fresh in my memory once again.

Circa Survive's music makes me think about all those friendships that don't really exist anymore, with friends from back home before I moved in 2015. Nowadays I'm the only person I know who listens to Circa Survive. Listening to the new album has almost been bittersweet.
This song is one of those that came to me at the right time, at the right moment. The lyrics are dark as the times I'm going through, while lyrically ending the song with a question which redeems the song into a grey area, which the only answer is simply, not to be cliché, "Survive". It's been awhile since I played a Circa Survive song on repeat. I thank all that contributed to this song a thousand times.
Pretty different change in sound. I appreciate it. This is pretty beautiful. I hope they return to their more progressive sound on the next full LP though

My all time favorite band been following Anthony green since I was about 13 14before he was unsaid in just playing house shows.definitely what music needs right now
Just my perspective, but honestly, the subtlety of Colin and Nick have always been an alluring factor in circa for me because they are so complimentary to the ultimate sound and feel that if you don't pay attention, you might miss it. But when it's gone, you're like "what is wrong with this". That being said, this was fashioned after some of their more undressed stuff according to Anthony in an interview. With the constricts of covid and obviously the internal conflicts of each member trying to maintain a family and dealing with their income being threatened during a pandemic it makes sense they would focus on a more stripped down approach. Honestly, this took me a few listens before I was like, "yeah.. this is my circa." Hope it happens for you.

They are evolving, which is a very good thing. Too many band make the same album over and over so it's nice to see someone morph with each new release
