These flavors work together very well. A lot like my grandmother's Amatriciana Sauce. We have replaced our much fattier Carbonara sauce with it, and my husband actually prefers it. Thanks for sharing.
She is right about cooking the onions longer. Always Long and slow!! I am making this now. Except I’m using some diced romas. It’s all I got. But will try this recipe soon with the fire roasted tomatoes. I bet I could roast my romas . I love your yard Robin!!!
I have an almost identical recipe. But i use tomato paste, water and scriracha instead of canned tomatoes. Im sure canned tomatoes work much better, but i was broke when i "created" my version and had to work with what i had. Super tasty, easy and cheap! I almost feel like a pro now seeing a recipe i improvised being made by someone else! Cheers!
Hi Robin! It's been a while and I miss your cooking recipe videos, your kitchen has a warm feel and it makes your cooking more inviting! Your recipes make me long for mexican foods as well. Btw, did Milo and Andrew appear again in other recent videos too? I kinda missed them too. Haha
Ryse Maxwell Thank you Ryse! Glad you are back! Andrew was only in the one video and Milo too. I can get Milo in a video easier than Andrew as he is so busy! Thanks for asking!
Respected Madam, I wish to know as to can I use any other pasta with this recipe? And can I make a home made sauce of diced tomatoes by first boiling them in hot water and then dicing them and using them in my pasta dish? Is it Ok if I don't use diced Tomatoes? Because iam from a city in Maharashtra in India and I might not get the caned tin of Diced Tomatoes as mentioned in your recipe. At present I don't have wine with me too.So I will have to make it without wine too.But I will buy the red wine as shown in your video. Please do guide me to cook well like you
This looks so easy and delish!! And Milo's a cutie! Thank you!

Yes, it's a wonderful dish, especially if you forget to take something for dinner. We always have a few strips of bacon in the fridge, haha!

I am a vegan so, the bacon is a big "no", but I think it'd be good without it.
Pasta mexican?
+EpicMILFTime Are you asking if pasta is Mexican or that you would like to see a Mexican pasta dish? I cook Mexican and more!
No I am simply wondering why a pasta dish is considered mexican.
