2021 I am here, when this song came out I was pregnant and a teenager and my daughter is now 15 years God gave me a second chance and I picked up my pieces and achieved my goals and still going on
In 2005 was pregnant and the baby daddy refused being responsible for it.this song really encouraged me and my daughter is now turning 19 years and am telling it has kabalika in my life
I have loved this song from when it was released. I don't understand Bemba so i never understood what the song says until yesterday (25/10/2023) when I asked for a translation from my friend who has lived in Zambia for sometime. We are Malawians by the way. I dedicate it to my mother.. that's her story, our story.
When I get sick of the crap most of the so called Zambian artists put out here, I come back to this kind of music and I get instant healing. This was pure art and I love the wordplay
When this song came out, I felt very sad for the women sang about in the song and then boom 2022 and am going through one of the situations and the song got real. Life is hard for everyone but as a woman I feel it's even much harder for us. Thank you k' millian for this timeless gift, imagine you sang this song way before I knew I'd need it, may God continue to bless your craft.🙏
During 2007-2009 Zimbabwe was suffering economically to such an extent that we were relying on Zambian and Malawian music. Almost all Zim musicians stopped singing doing other things to bring food on the table. In fact we lost a whole new genre of that time called Urban Grooves. 95% of young musicians of that time did not come back to music. The genre literally died to this day 2021. Thanks to that time we started listening to nice Zambian Music such as this.
Sorry to hear that 😭😭 may their soul rest in peace 🙏🏾🪦 Don't worry our brothers and sisters coz Zambia 🇿🇲 and malawi 🇲🇼 will continue have your back.✊🏿✊🏿
2024 still here..This song reminds of the words my aunt used to tell us before going to be with the lord she would always say “ kakabalika☀️ mwiskamana” 😭 R.I.P Aunty we love you sincerely ❤
I remember listening to these songs 2006 to 2008 when I was working at elephant hills hotel in Victoria falls. I never caught a word but I loved it ❤️💕
17yrs ago I was up for my baby girl young at heart boom this song ❤❤❤used to cheer me and indeed kalibalika nadalama manje neighbor nama five star hotel❤.This God!
I've finally understood this song. I only loved the tune growing up but now that I understand the lyrics I've realised this is a very beautiful song. I wish modern artists could make songs like this.
Wow beautiful and meaningful song indeed I thought my life was shut and I was almost giving up for sure never give up one day you will make it I have made it in life and this song makes a lot of sense to me this is 2023 the song is still a hit
The song contains a strong message which is pure Zambian & will live forever but the video is just an imported one from SA. It never reflected our own roots. Surely one day "the sun will shine" in someone's life one day by the grace of God
I just want to encourage someone somewhere..... it's not the end neither is it your fault.. you are beautiful, strong and lovely. No matter what or who , trust me they ain't your worth. It's all gonna be well. Kakabalika chibusa
this song was played at my brother's wedding 2020 and my other brother who was among the groom's men danced to this song with my mum wow love this song
2022/8/18 This is for the future generation when we are gone. Just know if you are able to hear this song you are amongst the highly blessed people of your generation. Kudos
