I've been waiting for this for literally years. I've always envisioned this album by The Who as ripe for a full philharmonic symphony treatment. This is wonderful: just wish Daltry could have been part of it.

Thanks Linda, I think this is the rock singer Alfie always wanted to be! I tried to get tickets for this performance but couldn't find 2 together. I'll see him Sept. 1 in NYC. Can't wait!

watched this for the first time last night on sky arts blew me away ive seen quadraphenia live but this is something else

I think they should have used a rock singer....I know why they chose him but it sounds weird...

I believe Boe is a BIG classic rock fan, so he probably did this out of the fact that he gets to sing classic rock music.
