I always hated that Brock and Misty basically stole the egg from Ash instead of offering to help him take care of it and give him advice on how to take care of Pokémon Eggs. Cause when you really think about it, Togepi should've been Ash's, but no. They had to steal Togepi from him and give it to Misty. I get that Ash was a true idiot all those years ago, but what exactly did Brock and Misty help Ash with? Brock actually did most of the chores, Ash was the one technically leading the Journey, all Misty really did was complain, get angry over every little thing, nearly got the gang in trouble a few times, and was the one getting them lost all the time.
9:18 finally, someone else who acknowledges that Misty was mainly the one at fault in this episode. People are always ripping on Erika for being very opinionated for denying Ash his Gym Battle (which us fanfiction writers have brought up as technically being illegal), or ripping on Ash for getting himself banned from the Gym for insulting Erika, but none of that would've ever happened had Misty not derailed them all by wandering off by herself with Pikachu no less. I mean, for crying out loud, those of us who know the lore from the games know that Celadon City is a hotspot for Team Rocket activity. Something you'd think that the League, Interpol, the Rangers, and the G-Men would make the Gym Leaders of Kanto a bit more aware of so that they're always on guard.
Sorry for that one I blame school for that and am not as fast or something in editing also my friend baboonlord has also problem that's why we can't finish a draft bc of stuff we have to do I hope you understand
I said during the vid he almost got late by that point Gary already gotten Squirtle and a random trainer got Bulbasaur so Charmander is the last pokemon left for ash am not being mean or being rude I just want to clarify this
