DarkLT4Ewa I don't think this song fits Interstellar LYRICALLY, if you listen to the lyrics of "Planet A" you'll understand that it fits Interstellar better.
That ending is beautiful. Not gonna lie I kinda resolved to tears. The lyrics: "All aflame and destroyed, It’s funny how we once fought, It’s funny how we didn’t care" hits so hard for some reason. Great end to a pretty decent EP.
I'm not even that much of a TDWP fan, but this song really hits me for some reason. "It's getting closer now" actually fills me with anxiety and gives me chills.
I think what makes this song such a perfect ending is that it's so atmospheric. Mike really conveys the sadness through his vocal delivery. Just how "Survivor" was the best song to end the Zombie EP.
+steven trieckel they're still great but I think his vocals were the best on Roots. I love the uniqueness in his vocals and how he has something different to offer with them on every album.
+Dylan Shafer while I think roots is wonderful I think you have to go back farther to find his prime. His vocals on the first album are incredible. His range was insane. I love this and his new style but I'll never forget the Prada I fell in love with
this is the best song these guys have ever created. that ending is just absolutely breathtaking. Mike poured his heart out with extreme passion. he does usually but on this it's just unbelievably moving.
The lyrics at the end really make you think. All we've done is fight against each other. We became the dominate being on this planet. And all we do is hate each other. If an asteroid were to wipe us out as a planet, after billions of years of going from being a molten mass to creating and supporting life. All for nothing. We took it all for granted. All of the wars that have been fought, all of the bloodshed will have been for nothing. We wasted our privileged existence hating one another.
+Kevin Wade Interesting to think about, is it not? Still, even if we somehow learned not to hate our neighbors and an asteroid wipes us out, what will we have accomplished? What will our lives have meant? Heavy and deep I know, but probably the most important questions we could ever ask.
Andrew D. Royappa fair point. I would look at it as a "time well spent" sort of thing. Instead of being mad, we could spend the time here loving one another. It's an unrealistic reality I know, but I do find myself thinking about this scenario all the time now.
Kevin Wade But why bother loving people? It takes so much effort. Much easier to just look out for ourselves isn't it? Survival of the fittest and all that?
Say goodbye one last time ... 8 years later this EP still hits so hard , I feel so emotional listening to it idk why. It's like the Zombie EP as well, some of the best music I personally have ever heard. Love this band
+Tyler Chambers Prada and ABR are both leagues ahead of everyone else in the scene. Prada leads the experimental electronic front, and ABR hits my needs for a great riff and technical song.
I hadn't listened to TDWP in forever, so I decided to search them up on here and saw the "Space" EP. I clicked it and I just had to hear the intro to know I was going to throw my money at them. I clickly got the keys to my car and went to bestbuy to get myself a copy. Couldn't be happier!
I thought I could never listen to metalcore anymore, since the genre became extremely saturared, but then this EP came out. I guess TDWP and ABR are the only metalcore band I can still listen to.
+Carter Bond I agree, ABR progressively gets more and more melodic. ABR has one of the most consistent yet perfect progressions in the metalcore genre.
+Evan Ray they are amazing at what they do. They've changed so much since their Thrill Seeker days but it's such an amazing progression that I don't think any other band has mastered yet
+Lucas Garibaldi same here dude, i sat back one day and realized all i listen to is prog nowadays, but i haven't put this EP down for the past few days - seriously so impressed with TDWP
Lol people saying this is generic. Find me other metal core bands that sounds like Prada. You can't. There are none. This band is the best band on Rise. Why? They continue to be unique and write music that not only they like, but most of their true fans like. If you're one of those "I only like one album" fans then please just leave.
tdwpvsabr Chill your inner fan girl out. DEFINITELY NOT THE BEST ON RISE. " Find me other metal core bands that sounds like Prada. You can't. There are none" You sound like you know probably only 5 other bands if you honestly believe that.
+Gage O'gorman Not hating but, I listen to dozens if not hundreds of bands in this genre and when someone shows me a prada song I can INSTANTLY point out it's them, from both style and (mainly) vocals. I can only do that with a few bands which is a good thing.
Prada has the most unique style, lyrics and passion I've ever heard from a metal core band hell, idk even know if you can call them metal core they've evolved into their own awesome place
I never thought a song like this could actually induce dread and anxiety, but holy shit, they did it. TDWP will always be one of my favorite metalcore bands.
the message in this song/story is amazing, it's a question, how would we treat each other family friend foe if we all truly new and saw that nothing will last we all due and perish but spend our short years setting on each other when if we new how brief we really are on this earth we'd work towards taking care of each other...good job TDWP good job lol.
Prada never lets me down! They keep my energy strong all day, and i feel driven after hearing my favorite prada tunes. God bless you brothers, you've done a marvelous thing.
remember the whole EP is set to a theme, a very specific one. it's supposed to be different from dead throne or 8:18, and even zombies. you can't compare it to anything. it's really good on its own. I'm loving it!
Black_Shade Theme or not, they're playing style should not suffer this much. They don't display nearly the talent shown in previous albums. Especially Zombie and everything before that EP.
+kfcbowlcombo so you prefer a playing style that mostly every metalcore band out there already copied and does when those albums were released? There's a reason why they don't play like that tell me another metalcore band out there that plays this unique and original.
Ka' pooch Vasquez Honestly, I think something is pretty comparable to Zombie EP. For example (if we don't count Celestial Mechanics), Supernova is 4th song of this EP as well as Revive of Zombie EP. There are a lot of clean vocals in both songs and the beggining is just guitar and nothing else. Alien is talking about parts of the creature (I see the eyes, I see the teeth...) as well as Anatomy and the beggining could be compared too (the sound of chainsaw and breaking window/alarm). Of course this EP is on totally different theme and I understand your point, but I think you can compare at least a little bit of somethiing
Thank you, TDWP, for staying whole and relevent throughout all of the years. No going soft or giving up on what you started with. All of your music never gets old. I have one issue with the Space EP though, and that is because it isnt a full album i can go out and buy! You guys are truly fantastic.
This is hands down the coolest intro I've heard ha. Total annihilation by an asteroid is so metalocalypse in a good way haha. This album is really setting an example for other evolving bands in the genre. Man this albums gets me so pumped to work out, improve myself and do what I love, just like these guys!
This album is so amazing. So well written. You can vividly imagine this in your head because of Mikes great writing. No this album isn't as heavy as some of their previous. But it definitely stands out in its own unique way. But what a great start since the departure of Chris (even though he helped writing some of the guitar) Can't wait to hear more.
Have you ever listened to a song so good that you had to stop yourself from listen to it because otherwise you would get sick of it and you don't want that because it is so good that makes you cry?
In the first 30 seconds of this song I turn super sayin, picture myself on a mountain top with the wind blowing all around, lightning and thunder over head. "Raaaaaaciiing Toowarddds usssss!!!!
is it me or is this song realistically scary as hell cause this compared to zombie ep isn't what if zombies exist it's what if a asteroid were to really ver into our direction. This song is oddly chilling to think about while listening to it.
Every time I imagine what a music video or something visually would look like with this song, it almost scares me when around 3:45 I imagine a giant, sky swallowing asteroid slowly moving towards the Earth as everyone looks up at it
God damn. I was reading the lyrics while listening. The end of this song. The fucking end of this song gave me goosebumps. It's strange to think something like this could very well happen. The possibility of it happening is greater than what we think. They are so right, "it's funny how we once fought, it's funny how we didn't care. Consider what we could have been." That line alone is the best line in the entire EP imo. Think about it. This world is so focused on meaningless pointless shit, and in the end, none of it will matter. We were so busy focusing on what god was the correct one to praise, how many babies kim Kardashian is pumping out of her, none of it will matter when "judgment day" comes. Uhg, I have goosebumps just thinking how true this is. "Consider what we could have become." I know this is just a song on an awesome EP from an awesome band, but if you listen to music for the same reason I do, please, take away from it for that reason alone. Consider what we COULD be. Consider what we ARE. Let's try to improve this world for the better and help any way we can. Again, TDWP delivers.
Such a shame that when i saw them live a couple years ago, that they were only the opening band and no one was even moving at all beside me :( But they still put on a good show and their opener was their best song, Danger: Wildman :O
Been around since the start. Still think deadthrone is.the best followed by zombie ep but the way this breakdown happens with the.lyrics. million listens and still straight goosebumps. Wish I had friends who appreciate this
I like this a lot, but I was expecting a more a chaotic and destructive ending! :D but has anyone ever heard of the song The Seventh Trumpet by August Burns Red? Damn that's a good apocalyptic song.
This song is like an ending to a fantastic movie or a finale of a TV show. Incredible.
DarkLT4Ewa Interstellar movie
Ahsyaa Pratama Nah, "Planet A" sounds more better for Interstellar. The lyrics are related to Dr. Amelia Brand.
Adam Artz way to miss a point..
DarkLT4Ewa What point exactly? Wtf are you talking about
DarkLT4Ewa I don't think this song fits Interstellar LYRICALLY, if you listen to the lyrics of "Planet A" you'll understand that it fits Interstellar better.
That ending is beautiful. Not gonna lie I kinda resolved to tears. The lyrics: "All aflame and destroyed, It’s funny how we once fought, It’s funny how we didn’t care" hits so hard for some reason. Great end to a pretty decent EP.
+BT Studio Productions I agree. I didn't shed any tears, but the emotion in his voice with "it's funny how we didn't care" hits hard for sure.
"consider what we could have been" always gets to me and makes me tear up
Think of best friends
Think of strangers
Think of lovers
Think of foes
Think of children
Think of family
Keep in mind that nothing stays
The joke's on you, I have no friends, no foes, no children and no lovers.
@@AutomaticDuck300 but you do have a family wich in your case becomes even sader
@2 Dark 4 U your username is eerily accurate here
Not really. Family betrays with drugs.
I'm not even that much of a TDWP fan, but this song really hits me for some reason. "It's getting closer now" actually fills me with anxiety and gives me chills.
Check out leprous congregation album. And let me know what kinda anxiety you feel
I think this is the best song on the EP.
This and Planet A
Adyn Lord I completely agree
Eric Sawada Hard to tell the best song. This one is 2nd best, right after Moongod for me
Eric Sawada I think Supernova and Alien are tied for first, and this is second.
I think I agree
I think what makes this song such a perfect ending is that it's so atmospheric. Mike really conveys the sadness through his vocal delivery. Just how "Survivor" was the best song to end the Zombie EP.
its scary to think something like this might be right around the corner. "say goodbye one last time"
Ryan Mowrar but it is
You bet it is my dude. Welcome to the decade where people realize how utterly fucked the global ecosystem is. An asteroid would be mercy.
Even now, more so
just incase they are. someone should kill my cat. mad cautious.
WWIII or Civil War 2.0 imminent
Mikes vocals are like no other. Can't believe people were saying they were shot 😂
they were shot. compared to what they used to be
+steven trieckel they're still great but I think his vocals were the best on Roots. I love the uniqueness in his vocals and how he has something different to offer with them on every album.
+Dylan Shafer couldn't of said it better myself man.
absolutely its a brand new tone every time
and its very unique and i like the pauges album the best
+Dylan Shafer while I think roots is wonderful I think you have to go back farther to find his prime. His vocals on the first album are incredible. His range was insane. I love this and his new style but I'll never forget the Prada I fell in love with
Just discovered this EP today. And this song is absolutely beautiful.
2:16 to 2:40 fucks me up lyrically
this is the best song these guys have ever created. that ending is just absolutely breathtaking. Mike poured his heart out with extreme passion. he does usually but on this it's just unbelievably moving.
Asteroid is one of the most powerful songs I've ever listened to. It made me realize that I want to write and create a world to suck the reader into.

Andrew D. Royappa fair point. I would look at it as a "time well spent" sort of thing. Instead of being mad, we could spend the time here loving one another. It's an unrealistic reality I know, but I do find myself thinking about this scenario all the time now.
If you want lyrics that make you think, check out Delusions of Grandeur. Specifically their song "Reclamation". It's a little heavier though
Kevin Wade But why bother loving people? It takes so much effort. Much easier to just look out for ourselves isn't it? Survival of the fittest and all that?
but its a war basically between religion and whose religious views are right.
This is now one of my fav TDWP songs ever. Absolutely amazing.
if the earth ever does get hit by a asteroid this is the last song im listening/singing to
+iUniit I'm with you brother
TDWP...makes EPs better than the majority of peoples entire albums. Fantastic!
Say goodbye one last time ... 8 years later this EP still hits so hard , I feel so emotional listening to it idk why. It's like the Zombie EP as well, some of the best music I personally have ever heard. Love this band
the feels in this song were uncontrollable!! I freaking love this band sooooo fricken much!
Prada can't be touched. They're so far beyond their peers at this point its ridiculous.
Tyler Chambers Cannot agree with you more.
+Tyler Chambers Prada and ABR are both leagues ahead of everyone else in the scene. Prada leads the experimental electronic front, and ABR hits my needs for a great riff and technical song.
+Tyler Chambers i really seems like almost no band in their genre can touch them now they evolved into an experimental art
Memphis may fire????
+Kyle Tessier Lol. MMF. they hardly compare.
When he started talking at 2:15 my mind immediately went to La Dispute. At least when his voice stays low.
I got two songs out of this video because of the ad. Both are beautiful and my ears are pleased.
Oh man, my soul. This is incredible... I was left teary eyed reflecting on the things I have done in my life.
song hit me right to the feels. really good album
I thought I could never listen to metalcore anymore, since the genre became extremely saturared, but then this EP came out. I guess TDWP and ABR are the only metalcore band I can still listen to.
I think ABR is going in more of a progressive metal direction

+Evan Ray they are amazing at what they do. They've changed so much since their Thrill Seeker days but it's such an amazing progression that I don't think any other band has mastered yet
Yeah, i know... i was soo tired of metalcore, but then my girl bought me this EP, and i was SO FUCKING CRAZY about it...
+Lucas Garibaldi same here dude, i sat back one day and realized all i listen to is prog nowadays, but i haven't put this EP down for the past few days - seriously so impressed with TDWP

+tdwpvsabr not the best on Rise. Dance Gavin Dance is king. Prada is sick tho
+Tyler Cronin What?! Damn it, go lay down somewhere. You're done for the day
When Mike transitions from talking to yelling he sounds like a cartoon character but in a metal way.
Such an emotionally heavy song. Prada never disappoints. This EP is incredible
2:15 - 4:26 just hearing that alone live is just so fucking good! Especially when singing along!
I haven't listened to the Devil Wears Prada for ages holy shit yaasss
Wow, this is very powerful. Good work, to them.
Best song of Space EP cant believe how amazing they still are they will always remain my fav band.
New favorite prada song
I think this is one if the best songs tdwp has ever recorded.
This EP is amazing.
It's ridiculous how consistent this band is never disappoints love these guys
this is SO good wow
Emma W. "It’s funny how we DIDN'T CARE". So much emotion. Really, wow.
Mike's vocals in the middle of the song were perfect
Just like "Dead Throne" and the "Zombie- EP"
DUHHHH, it's a figure of speech dumbass.
I'm still impressed with these guys' ability to tell histories in their songs just like in a movie
honestly one of my favorite songs by them. the whole Space EP was great
Prada never lets me down! They keep my energy strong all day, and i feel driven after hearing my favorite prada tunes. God bless you brothers, you've done a marvelous thing.
"Say goodbye one last time! It's closer now! It's closer now!"
In the album booklet/liner notes the title is 'An Asteroid Towards Earth'.
remember the whole EP is set to a theme, a very specific one. it's supposed to be different from dead throne or 8:18, and even zombies. you can't compare it to anything. it's really good on its own. I'm loving it!
Ka' pooch Vasquez I totally agree with you. a lot people are always comparing it to Zombie and i think they forget that this has its own unique theme.
Black_Shade exactly, even though the other albums have their themes, this one was a more obvious and they focused so much on .

The spoken word part is a really strange mix of Circle Takes the Square and La Dispute. Somehow it really works in that bridge.
Thank you, TDWP, for staying whole and relevent throughout all of the years. No going soft or giving up on what you started with. All of your music never gets old. I have one issue with the Space EP though, and that is because it isnt a full album i can go out and buy! You guys are truly fantastic.

That ending is just SO EPIC.
I was listening to this EP when I was playing No Man's Sky some years ago, good times
still one of my favorite songs from them
Same :) in my feelings at 5am 😂😂
This is Art. A Masterpiece.
Fucking love this song! Fuck! 2023 still here
This album is so amazing. So well written. You can vividly imagine this in your head because of Mikes great writing. No this album isn't as heavy as some of their previous. this may be the best song on the ep
if not best most definitely the heaviest.
I love the new sound these guys formed into. it fits them so fucking well. his scream mixed with his yell is beyond perfect.
Our best scientists all together
, RACING TOWWAARDSSS USSSSS !
24 people live with hate towards our neighbors
Now are 15 :v
the best song in this EP, the music ans especially the lyric is soo good
Omg i love this EP!! TDWP will never cease to amaze me.
these guys are the best. no argument.
the E.P is amazing. These boys done good!
Every time I imagine what a music video or something visually would look like with this song, it almost scares me when around 3:45 I imagine a giant, sky swallowing asteroid slowly moving towards the Earth as everyone looks up at it
My dog died from a car hit a couple weeks ago and the ending hits so fucking hard I wish I never had to say goodbye
love the intensity and emotion on this track!!!
2020's anthem
Better every time...
I love the expresive sound of mike
I'm here for the feels 2:04
I love the idea of concept EP's.
the emotions on this song bruuuh
Best song of the EP
hands down
This song really impressed me. The ending is majestic.
+Hayden Henning Why help? Why care? When your dead, does it make a difference?
No it doesn't. But when we do die, at least leave giving back to the world at it has gien to you.

On the kther hand, helping out EVERYONE now, can make ot possible for a better tomorrow/future for everyone.

I wanna go to space
This was just recommended to me. Hoping for a Space ep 2.
2019 ? I still get the vibes
OH MY GOODNESS 😍❤️❤️
My favorite song on the EP! Masterpiece.
Shits powerful bro
The ending was like the ending of the ending song of the zombie ep. Dark af m8s lol
Such a shame that when i saw them live a couple years ago, that they were only the opening band and no one was even moving at all beside me :( But they still put on a good show and their opener was their best song, Danger: Wildman :O
Theyre criminally underrated.
Wow, I was waiting for this, an EP like Zombie in Heaviness and melodies like in dead throne! This EP is a Killer!
2:21 reminds me of La Dispute
Been around since the start. Still think deadthrone is.the best followed by zombie ep but the way this breakdown happens with the.lyrics. million listens and still straight goosebumps. Wish I had friends who appreciate this
This is the best song on this EP!
Love this one good job DWP
Love it, best song on ep 10/10 seriously good as hell
Great song, TDWP never fails
2:53 ''It's funny how we once fart.''
Dayton, Ohio represent!
This song gives me CHILLS. It's amazing, but it really makes you think... :O
I like this a lot, but I was expecting a more a chaotic and destructive ending! :D but has anyone ever heard of the song The Seventh Trumpet by August Burns Red? Damn that's a good apocalyptic song.
+Adhec Rodriguez thats how i see it too^ all the emotions building up and all the fear and then boom its over. just like the asteroid hitting
+Jason Flores Here's what you do, at 3:58 you jump back to 0:05 and then stop it at 0:17.
This is a bada$$ song no doubt. I have seen ABR live and dunno how I missed that song. Thanks Jason Flores cuz these two go great back to back
Yeah but I'm glad they went with a more melancholy and epic ending. Brings on the emotions for sure
+Logan McCockley I defiantly agree now that I've listened to it more haha I can't wait for their next full length. :D
Common this EP is perfect
HOLY FUCK I'M REALLY IMPRESSED THEY GET BETTER AND BETTER EVERY EP/ALBUM
