Man I just found this out. I went to UNC Charlotte in the late 90s at the same time as Galen. Dude was a beast and such a humble dude. RIP and prayers to his family

Giving people felonies for things non criminal minded makes things worse for society. It's hard to get your life in order with a felony conviction. You just create actual criminals by doing so. She needed driving classes, community service and restricted from driving for years to come. She needs to also pay this family for damages somehow. She needs to spend her life tryna right this. Something more than just probation. But if she is a true fuck up, she will not make it the 3 years. If this woman does, that proves that she is not a criminal running around breaking the law.

She never served even one day of that jail time! She got pregnant and I was told by her aunt >>>> her father paid a guy to get her pregnant and married her. She had 3 lawyers. I was listening to the radio and it came over it no heads up for the victim's family or even I am sorry from this person! The court released her saying it didn't want to be held responsible for her unborn child! I was so livid I couldn't even see straight! I will promise this family one thing and that is you are one among many who have been fighting for years and years to get stiffer penalties for these so-called accidents! Murder is murder and this could have all been avoided if this person had simply obeyed our laws! She is not the first nor the last to get away with it trust that!

How do they know it was reckless driving that led to the accident? It's so unfortunate, and I would be mad too. But if the young lady did not mean it and was not under the influence, she should not be criminally charged. Driving without a license should not mean harsh jail time. If you are driving without a license and insurance and you kill someone that should be a mandatory 10 year sentence.
This is the result of the victimization of criminals. If a criminal is a victim of a unfair society then they are not responsible for the crime. This woman is prime example.
