Have had this situation in real life. It is a mess. A TON of training is a must.

If you want to add stress to it without the mental imagery, tape a dillar bill near the head of the target say on the neck. If you put a hole on bill throw it away. You can increase the denomination as skill improves or stress needs to be increased.
