Literally was awakened by the Holy Spirit with a song in the night. This song! I was being tormented by the worst graphic dreams and taunting tempting evils. God my Redeemer is faithful and true. Full of grace and mighty to keep saving his own adopted ones.
Thanks Dan, for sending me this link. Yes, nights have been tough, but not so bad as waking up with the reality of your decisions slamming into your brain and life.

This night a month ago I stood beside my mother's bedside and watched as she walked through the night - into glory with her Father. Her prayer when she was diagnosed was that she would walk the journey with grace - and she did. God is real and He walked beside her and us through that journey. Her race is run and her journey is done. Now we walk here for a little while longer through the day but He will be with me when I walk that road through the night. See you in glory, Mum.
This reminds me of the hymn 'Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus. Yet, the song is beautifully written. I feel anxious most of the time, and this is now one of my encouragements to carry on in life with God.

A Christian friend of mine sent this song to me last week when I got home from the Hospital after almost dying from pneumonia. Even in that time o suffering I have never felt closer to Jesus. In our crazy mixed up world we need more songs like this! Centered on Christ, spiritually rich and simple enough for the church to sing. Thank you Cityalight! Something Johnny Robinson said last week's worship conference was really powerful to me. He mentioned they have received flack on being too simple. However he said we want the older grandma and young child to be able to play and remember these songs.

Can't believe I just found this! My daughter was singing this while puttering around the campfire. She didn't know the name, but it was captivating. I found it and now I share it, and folks are SO grateful! Glory to God.
Jesus Strong and kind literally changed my life.... it touched me so deep that I cry every time I listen to it ... and I would have listened to it a 1000 times or more.... Praise God for your music .... please do continue this blessed ministry.... simplistic songs with amazing lyrics... songs that speak to our soul and helps us worship meaningfully without much distractions.... BTW loved the orchestra...
My three year old loves Jesus Strong and Kind. It is the first song he memorized. He's even learning to speak through it. I'm so grateful for CityAlight's music. It is bringing the focus on God back to worship.

Same here! I would have listened to it a 1000 times. While I sing and listen feel God completed everything. Well, a lot of things happened to me the past last two years, also providing me a good time to grief, to cry, to trust in God again while listening to the song.

I just spoke with my pastor yesterday (Sun.) about my fears that keep me awake at night. He said, "Read Psalm 121 & repeat the verses about God never slumbers or sleeps." Thank you for this song.

This is the absolute essens of worship in my opinion. Thank you so much for creating it.
I desperately needed this song just now. As my city prepares to be hit with major storms tonight, it's such an astounding joy to be reminded that Christ will hold us. He is not afraid of the dark and storm. Darkness is as light to Him.

I really wish I had this song growing up! I was almost always afraid at night time. Afraid of the dark, afraid of someone breaking in and hurting me or my family. Now that I’m an adult I still have some of these fears, but this song… this gives me the peaceful reminder that God is with me even at night. Music has always been a way that God has gotten my attention.
Marvellous that the Lord gives us great song writers in the present age, and those, male and female, who can sing them so well!

Wow! Such incredible music. I hadn't heard this one before. Their songs are so quickly singable. Production values with the strings and the children are of the highest caliber. These Aussies aren't trying to compete as rock stars with many, many of American bands. Churches here don't seem to be interested in this kind of worshipful music. Our church has gone over to the rock style. May 11, 2022, St. Joseph, MO USA
