Hats off to Phyllis for a race run well and for being a warm & sincere person! Phyllis resembles a young (1960's) Dionne Warwick but w/softer features. I think she has a natural beauty & that haircut compliments the shape of her face. Not every barber understands to do that, to give a woman a cut that flatters her face. Phyllis, get that barber's name & # & follow him wherever he goes!
I remember watching this race live on TV, but this is the first time I've gone back and watched it again, so my comments are kind of behind the times. I remember thinking how happy and surprised Ms. Francis looked when she realized she did it. And after watching this interview, I'm so impressed at her remarks. Very articulate, very honest, very cool answers to every question that was thrown at her. Not a single 'canned' response to any question. How often do you see that from an athlete? Bravo...
@Michael...LOL.. I look for Deajah to upset the apple cart in the 200m. Everyone is focused on Dafne and Tori and Shaunae but they need to watch out for Deajah. She is the dark horse and the one who may surprise.
I love the way she talks!

Classy lady, congrats.
Congrats Phyllis. So Oregon girls run well in the rain, huh? Hmmm..so if it keeps raining, maybe Deajah can medal high in the 200m.
Hasn't rained in 60 days. You better look out, Oregon runners can bring it in the sunshine too :)

Gavin Scott Hello Gavin I'm with you on that
Gavin Scott Tori is out of the 200m.
Following a disastrous 200m at the NCAAs, Deejah showed great heart and moxie to come back in the 400x4. I would not count her out of any race.
New York/UO stand up!
Congratulations!
francis well done dude
Did anyone see her at the finish line? She was soo drained. I do not like 400m. It drains runners.
Nice run for the jamaican girl we will get them soon 4x400
