Skitour from Bad Laterns 1200m to the Gerenfalben 1983m.
The Gerenfalben is a very suitable for beginners ski tour in which you only follow the road from Bad Laterns in the direction of Furkajoch. As you can see in the video you go up a few corners and leave the road at the end of the forest. There you turn left to the top where you reach the Neugehren Alpe after 1622m. From there you can already see the summit of the Gerenfalben and continue up towards the summit. To get to the summit, make a turn to the right in steeper terrain and later turn left directly to the summit. There are mostly tracks, the summit is well visited. Also in Bad Laterns it is advisable to arrive early enough to get a parking space.
The descent can make a beginner then along the ascent route, if you drive in the area a bit safer, the variant is recommended in the video where you turn right below the summit and then (the forest gently) uses the widest clearings to go down.
There is also the possibility to climb from the Garniza to the Gerenfalben. In this variant you go from Bad Laterns, after 300-400m comes a bridge, after this bridge turn left in the direction of Alpe Garniza and thus no longer follows the road towards Furkajoch. As soon as you leave the forest and come to the Garniza Valley you go up the slopes on the right. (Theoretically roughly on our downhill track)
