more muscle tuts please! your accents only takes a few seconds to get used to and your info is so straight ford i will watch other 2 tomorrow i hope you will show how to rig muscle on a model that already has a bone rig
I agree, that's a great intro tutorial, I was disappointed to see there isn't a Part 2 as you described. I like your other videos too, I hope you're still working away at Unity!
Thank You So Much!!! Bless You! I was looking for such a tutorial for looooooooong time!!!@-@ I did not even know what muscle builder system exists in Maya, was thinking it’s a side program or a plug-in... .
Hi thanks for the feedback I will be uploading more soon just had a short break from 3D stuff. Good guess but my accent is from Glasgow, Scotland haha.
thanks for the tutorial. its really helpfull.. but I have a question. can´t hear well on 7:07, when you´re explaining about modifying the muscle shape, how can I turn on that mode?
Hi there, Just select the curves on one of the two cross-section windows. Then hit F8 on your keyboard to go into component mode. This will let you select the points you need to get the shape you want.
I wanted to ask. can you use muscle rigs for more detailed animation in videogames or are there softwares that do not support them? I am mainly interested about UE. if I import a model with muscle rigs will it take it or will it be messed up?
I do not believe that Game engines can simulate muscle information in real time. If there is some engine that can probably will take more resources than what is reasonable. However you can fake the muscle by adding muscles without any influence and then having a joint follow the muscle surface. Then you skin that joint in a way that will make it seem like a real muscle. I believe that is the closest way to faking muscles, or I assume there is a way to bake the deformation done by the muscle, but it will probably look just like a blend shape.
this is 6 years old and feels brand new, you did a great thing for almost 59,000 views. thank you.
I don't know but my muscle looks a bit Irish now
