Wow.. I've been de-steming my elderberries by hand for hours tonight....pulling those little pieces of stem out. It's 2AM and I've got hours more work ahead. I am definitely going to look into getting one of those hand held de-stemers....heck...I have wanted to develop a side hustle here on my farm as I get ready to retire. I'm glad I came across these guys. Will be following up with them after I deal with these berries.
Can you eat them off the vine? I just planted mine this spring and they are growing I got 2 different types Adam and Bob Gordon I do believe I planted them for my personal uses and my Chickens
Hi, Terry and Chris. My sister gave me a heads up on your video! My Bob Gordons did the best for my location. I'm excited to glean from your elderberry wisdom again! Blessings!
1. Do you have a source for a lease document that has a 10 year rolling lease agreement? Similar to what organic producers have, it rolls over and protects the sweat equity involved in preparation, amendments, nursery, replanting? 2. Do you have an introduction/matchmaking service for wannabe farmers and the coop members who'd share their productive potential prospectively? Thanks.
Hi Robert, thanks for your comment. For both questions, I would recommend visiting our webpage www.savannainstitute.org/land-access.html which has a guide to long-term leases and a matchmaking sign-up. Thanks!
