I have to admit I love this video. This song is so special for me and I’ve always wanted to vid it with a special show or pairing, and then Deke said the thing about Fitz having the weight of the world on his shoulders and it just clicked! I wanted to focus on Fitz and on the amazing, outstanding, breath-taking scenes Iain (and Lil!) did. I seriously know no better actors than these two. I don’t know, it’ just talent, pure talent and I can’t help but being completely overwhelmed by their performances. They constantly outdo their previous performances and if this isn’t talent…
I’m sorry I always rant about them hahaha anyway, I just hope the writers will handle properly this storyline because people out there are really and concretely affected by this kind of mental issues - even though I’m not 100% sure that Fitz HAS mental issues, it can also be, as Simmons said, a collateral effect of his brain injury. I loved that Simmons tried to understand him, how she tried to talk him out of it, how, tragically, love isn’t enough sometimes. But I’m sure - thanks Deke lol - that they’ll get through this.
I got a headache while making this video because I cried all my tears basically, so I hope you'll enjoy it.

Fitz' character arc through the entire show has been him losing his naivety and gaining his confidence and decisiveness.
It has reached a tipping point where he can no longer rely on the people around him to be his conscience for him; he needs to decide for himself. For the first time, he is strong and whole enough to decide for himself.

God I’m so angry about this storyline but this video made me appreciate the good things that came out of it and that was Jemma and Deke’s talk. They will get past this because he exists and that’s good to hear. You always vid them so beautifully and I feel like I’m repeating myself but this is on another level. i genuinely don't have any words. Usually i love breaking down a video like this but there is so much and i am overwhelmed in the best way possible. God, you have shown their journey up to here so perfectly, your voiceover usage is perfect, it doesn't overwhelm the videos and watching this you really get a sense of how they are both similar but also how they both need the other to balance out and have someone to lean on. This is a work of art and I am in awe of this and your talent. You get them so well and your videos for them are always a joy to watch.

Quest'episodio è stato troppo, davvero bellissimo. E poi la scena con Zeke, mi ha fatto piangere troppo. Spero che la situazione tra Fitz e il team si risolva presto (anche se grazie a Zeke sappiamo che le cose con Jemma andranno "in the right direction"). Il video come sempre è stupendo, rianalizzando tutto dall'inizio fa comprendere bene come Fitz sia arrivato a questo punto.
And honestly same, I think he had a Psychotic break and those are best dealt with slowly so i hope.. that the writers dont rush it but address it slowly and give them time to sort things out

Do you storyboard the dialogue choices before starting your vids? So much in here, but it all blends so seamlessly and builds perfectly to crescendo. Although it is tough times for these two (really, when isn't it?!), the heartbreak makes the good times even better.
JaneDoh honestly I don't, because I know their scenes by heart and the video just flows spontaneously most times. Which is a rarity for vidders, but these two inspire me so much❤️ and yes this storyline is so dark and heartbreaking I can feel their pain
