Watch H & K’s video dismantling this one. She got rid of Lorne because her friends were coming to live with her (didn’t even put the wolf in a different area of their large property) Let’s break down the actions from this wise woman telling you why she isn’t the problem and the wolf is: 1. Gets wolf 2. Doesn’t properly care for and train it 3. Makes a video why YOU shouldn’t own a wolf/wolf dog 4. Gets attacked (shocking) 5. Gives it the boot when it becomes too much 6. Gets a new wolf dog 7. Still claims you shouldn’t own one 8. Has dozens of videos of her animals’ aggressive behavior and poor conditions 9. Doesn’t think she’s at fault 10. YOU CANNOT OWN A WOLFDOG Hypocritical stupidity is a dangerous thing, especially under the guise of advice...
A sanctuary found out, and she was arrested for animal cruelty and for not having a license to take care of wolves, THATS RIGHT SHE LIED SHE HAS NO LISENSE
@@whatTFisThis YOOOO I thought something was up when all her links were dead... all except her amazon wishlist! They shouldn't even be up, there is demonstrable animal abuse afrer all
my uncle had a wolf dog in a state where it's illegal to own them, he always told people she was a mix of husky with German shepherd to avoid trouble, she never misbehaved and was very loyal and lovely, it was a very sad day for all of us when she died.
Agree. It's like she can't see that. He may not be able to be trained like a normal dog. But he behaves far better and is far smarter than the other dogs that behaving like kids from what I see here
FIRST OF ALL DUMBASS THERE A MILITARY BREEDING EXPERIMENT THERE NOT A DOG AND A WILD WOLFDOG WILL FUCK YOU UP AND ALL THE DOGS THAT SHE HAVE WITH HER ARE HOOD MENTALLY YOUNBOY FOLLOWERS
Well you won't be surprised to hear she doesn't have the wolfdog anymore. And he got seized by a sanctuary apparently after she got convinced in court of animal cruelty. So god knows what else was going on with all the animals in this place. She was never qualified or had licences for this. Basically she uploaded videos on animals and pretended owning them made her an expert. She's a crook. It's over for her
Based on the look of its fur coat, you are clearly mistreating &misfeeding that wolf. It looks stressed, has bald patches &looks in overall bad shape, compared to your dogs. She shows no bad behavior on her part. Yet, you are constantly calling on her to behave, rather then disciplining the dogs. They growl at her when she tries to drink water, play wit any toys &you do too. She clearly doesn't have a place here. Smh. Wolves are beautiful creatures. This is a wild animal & it looks nuthing like it, that's sad.
Watch her other videos. She's an animal abuser. Read the comments. People shared news links where she starved a horse almost to death. I'm new to the channel, but watched a lot of her videos. Also I guess she ended up giving up on this wolf and getting rid of it, sadly
Right also when she said that the mouthing that the wolf was doing it "can't be trained out" she's wrong she just clearly hasn't tried you can TAME a wild animal so it won't behave like that but the difference between taming a wild animal and having a domesticated animal is that the tamed traits won't be passed on genetically to The offspring

Amen lol her old video of her first getting him as a puppy is COMPLETELY different from this video that she posted. Like lmaooo, she literally supported someone trying to get a wolfdog as a pet. Yes I do agree that wolfdogs may be aggressive but I don’t agree that they’re all aggressive, or that it’s impossible to have one. if she wasn’t contradicting herself, etc I wouldn’t care that she had said this for this is her opinion.
I'm not that slow at reading but I guess if you add up the time I took to write and think of my reply I can see how you got me 😱... You entrapped my mind like a wolfman

@@jaakunatamashishinigami6116 Dude. Camelandtoes is missing the very very very basic foundation of caring for a high content wolfdog. The very first thing even before running space or what kind of food. Lorne doesn't have a lady wolf around. His pack structure is always going to be f'ed up until the pack has a mated pair of leaders.
Dogs are predictable and are generally just trying to play when acting aggressive. Wolves are unpredictable and out for blood when they’re being aggressive. So many stupid comments like this in here
She says they don't act the same as normal dogs and that they are dangerous while repeatedly touching the wolf in the face and it has not done anything violent. Bit ironic is all im saying.
Yeah, the balding and slimness definitely doesn't point to malnutrition/stress. I've lived around two 90% wolf dogs and they require a lot of food. They are pack animals, if they don't have a pack of they can become very easily stressed out (Normal dogs don't bond well with them because dogs aren't typically pack animals). They can be kept individually however they require A LOT of attention from you, that's why it's easier to just get two. I can't say for full-breed wolves, as I can't legally own one in my state, but 90% (or under) wolf dogs make great pets as long as you have an enclosed yard big enough for them (fenced with either tall vertically-placed wood fence or tall electrified chain link fence like you have). It's not a matter of "They can't be pets", it's a matter of they require a lot of preparation, maintenance, and attention. You can own them as individuals, you don't need a pack, however they require A LOT of attention or they'll start to develop the traits of a "stray" wolf. Please don't misguide the public and please check up on your wolf, the balding and slimness isn't healthy.
Not to mention she says wolf dogs aren't domesticated. Any decent wolf dog owner is familiar with how many generations their wolf dog is removed from a wolf. F1, F2,F3,F4,F5 ETC... This very process is domestication. Clearly she doesn't know anything about wolf dogs. I agree that for majority people they shouldn't have a wolf dog. It takes a lot of patience time and effort for a wolf dog. (matter of fact the same goes for any dog it's just amplified with a wolf dog because they require a lot more effort in training and require a lot more exercise.)
I'm going to criticise you like this; that behaviour isn't the dog's fault. Because you raised it in an environment where it clearly became distrustful of you and attacked you. A child doesn't just respect you because you live near it; just because your wolfdog attacked you because you didn't raise it properly, doesn't mean no one else should raise one. 90% of the wolfdogs Ive seen are well behaved, docile and sweet animals. Yours is probably the first Ive seen act aggressively because of the environment you raised it in. Keeping an animal secluded away from you is going to make it distrust you more, because it isn't used to be around you. This "wild animal" stereotype puts this aggressive and uncontrollable label on animals like this; which is absolutely scientifically untrue. Yes we can't take a dog's will from it, nor should we, but anyone who raises a dog, wolf or wolfdog properly will know this and understand what it needs and what it wants. Don't blame the animal for your inability to understand its needs and how to raise and train it. Wolves and wolfdogs have bigger brains than essentially all dog breeds, they're smarter and more understanding. As far as I know, most wolfdogs need to run or walk 7-8 miles every day to get it's energy up. You need to give it attention frequently. You need to prioritise it, it is your job to make sacrifices for that animal's well being. If it's attacking you, that's a you problem because you did something wrong. The behaviour of it isn't acceptable, it isn't what it should be because 99% of wolfdogs don't randomly attack their humans for no apparent reason. If an animal attacks you, or gets aggressive, you pissed it off or you upset it and it's up to you to correct it and bond with it. It needs that companionship and trust if you don't want it biting your arms off every time you see it. And as multiple others have said, you don't seem to be feeding or exercising it properly. It's coat is all run down and patchy, it looks kinda thin aswell. Feeding it better and more would also help with the lack of interaction you have with it, therefore making it trust you more. Just saying
I love how the domesticated dog is growling and is contantly going at the wolf. Why is your domesticated DOGS in a small yard, in an electrified fence with your WILD dangerous wolf? Just curious.....
@Nalesh Hewavithana I knew a wolf-dog that was really annoying and one that was not so annoying... Some dogs are annoying as well.. Best to keep a pet that is not annoying... Wolves don't seem to have the survival instincts that dogs do. Her knowing what that creature is like, I don't know why she sounded so annoyed.
no, it’s your fault. Wolfdogs require a bit more time to be trained. You let your dog out in the wild, how do you expect it’s going to act? You’re mistreating your dogs and Wolf. Don’t be surprised if people disagree harshly with your video that is mislead and misinformed.
Wolves are more to themselves and they more likely need time to be alone, traning a ”wolfdog” isnt easy and they get even more dangerous when you get closer with them. 2 animal parks that are in my country has put down their wolves because they tried to ”tame” it or whatever. And that just angers me for thinking that people thinks they can train a wolf, and the people that was with the wolves got attacked and died… like what did you expect.. they got too close and tried to socialize them but they did it the wrong way.. never try to ”tame” a wolf. God i hate that word. Just let the wolf be a wolf and leave it alone, even if its in a animal park or wild.
That behavior they are exhibiting is called playing and keeping their hierarchy order intacted. Wow, please don't own any dog tell your trained on animal behavior.
That is literally all dogs. All dogs have an instinct to dominate. My female Labrador mix is a dominant dog. She dominated both her brother and our 11 year old chow/lab mix before they both passed away from old age. She's the only one left and is still dominant by nature. They fought for dominance all the time, but never needed intervention from us because it never got violent, just cases of pinning to the ground and lots of vocalization. Wolfdogs are just more intense than dogs. They show more emotion in their body language and vocalizations than dogs, and if you can read into it, learn to "speak" their language, it's not so hard to socialize with them or get along with them like she likes to make them out to be. No they aren't for first-time owners, they do require research to some degree to own, but they are not "wild animals" that will rip out your throat at the slightest move. Like her video of being "attacked", she circled him, kicked the bucket next to him, after he growled at her, and pinned back his ears. She antagonized by walking behind him and throwing stones, to which he responded with standing up and holding his tail erect, which in wolf speak is "back off or you're not gonna like me" and when she kicked the bucket next to him he took it as a threat to his food and he "corrected" her. Which is a normal everyday thing wolves go through. Young pups and adolescents are corrected often when they're being taught manners, like not to take someone's things. That's what the loud vocal calls where during that whole "attack" She instigated every bit of it. You know why I know? Because I actually went to school for these things. I studied animal behavior, medicine, and biology for 6 1/2 years before I had to give it up for money reasons. And even I am nowhere near considered an "expert" with all the knowledge I've gathered. She is not an expert by any extension of the word, and should not own these animals if she does not know how to read their body language correctly.
I'm far from being as educated as you but my brother owns a wolf and just like my post says wolfs are one of the few wild animals that we can domesticate. All the dog breed the humans bred and bred came from the wolf. Sure it's not the same thing as owning a dog but how many times have people had positive interactions in the wild with a wolf versus a lion or cheetah or bear. Wayyyy back in the day there was one dog breed and it was the wolf we domesticated to help us hunt and protect us
off topic and totally unimportant, but i rarely like/thumbs-up TH-cam comments. However, YOU sir just got one. The comment had me dying because its so true and points out the hypocrisy.
I just love the way she admitted to abusing the wolf LMFAO don't keep them as a pet she says don't treat them like a dog she says then tells a wolf to sit dafuq is wrong with people.
She’s confusing me,I’ve have a wolf dog before she wasn’t jumpy or anything and for her size when she stands on 2 back legs you would think she’s aggressive but she’s as safe as a husky
@@timothybrown6565 that kind of mindset is exactly why wolfdogs end up attacking people. Wolfdogs *can* be trained (cooperation is kind of important for pack-hunting predators), an they 100% *should* be trained.
@Platinum Brickz She actually wasn't wrong on that point. Domesticated doesn't mean the same as tame. You can tame a wild animal if you start it young enough and know what you're doing but it will still have all the instincts of a wild animal. It takes many generations of breeding to domesticate an animal, and at that point it won't be a wolf anymore, it'll be a dog.
Umm, no. In fact it's the exact opposite. If you treat a Dog as a wild animal, it will act out and eventually bite. If you treat a Wolf as a wild animal......it will act out and eventually bite. If you are able to give up some time everyday to care and love your high energy German Shepherd, Husky, Malamute, etc, and walk them 4 to 8 miles everyday, they will love you back and won't destroy your property. If you love and care for your Wolf and walk it 4 to 8 miles a day, it will love you back......and won't destroy your property. And you certainly won't risk your Dog or Wolf attacking you. Thing is, you have your Wolf in a big cage rather than giving it the pleasantries your Dogs do by sleeping in your home. It feels singled out, and will act as a wild animal because, "If you treat your Dog or Wolf like a wild animal, it will act like a wild animal."
@ hi just letting u know that its a wolfdog and that she took it as a pet she got in court because of how bad she took care of lauren. He is in a sanctuary now. th-cam.com/video/y53vdk8c71c/w-d-xo.html Still u can see with this video how dangerous thaley are lol
I mean it sounds like she's a professional who is training/keeping the wolf for specific unusual reasons, and of course she knows and accepts the small chance that she will die in her job.

This person actually got charged for animal cruelty in 2019 for starving a horse to near death and not providing water to her camels, and she was found to be on drugs. Looks like she underfed her pet wolf too. She shouldn't have any exotics at all.
"it's impossible to have a wolfdog as a pet" "You CANNOT" ....Well, for you, maybe. No offense but you clearly are not the leader there. So, it might be you
Bingo. Proud owner of a wolfdog, I recieved her from a breeder here in my state, and was explicitly warned that if I did not assert myself as the "alpha" in that relationship she would not obey. That seems to be exactly what is going on here. She doesnt assert herself as the alpha, so the dog won't obey. Luna, my wolfdog, has never been trained beyond basic obedience training, but obeys every command I give her instantly. She isnt aggressive towards me, my family, or anyone who isnt threatening towards us or her, and generally plays well with other dogs. Up till about a year ago (she is 3 and a half now) she even tried to emulate my roomie's corgi and try to jump up on my lap. Now she mostly sits or lays near me, and tends to follow me anywhere I go, as long as I dont tell her no
I am 5'7, 17 years old i have adhd and ocd, my wolfdog is trained PERFECTLY, if i can do it then literally anyone can, this lady shouldn't have pets in general
Those dogs were even starting to annoy me 😂.. It dealt with them smartly though as if to say enough and the other dogs calm right down with no hesitation 😂
"I MUST emphasize...these are NOT pets!....LORNE...SIT!!!" XD LMAO!!! No seriously there's a difference between shackling an animal and taking away it's independence aka "domestic pet". Or you can upkeep a "partnership" you respect him/her the way they are, they respect you. There is no "ownership" it is co-existence and a respect to live together.
I have 4 hybrids, one of them being 90% and she is the SWEETEST little thing I've ever met. Whenever she sees me she starts wagging her tail at a million miles an hour and wants attention. And of course a hot dog for her behaviour haha
Odin Orange How and why would I lie? All I said was she is very sweet and loves attention. I never once mentioned being her master (fat chance with how stubborn she is) and idk where you got the idea you have to give me a lesson on respect?
Wolfdogs are more reliable than dogs and that's just a scientific fact, they're less trainable because they're smarter but it doesn't change the fact that wolves and wolfdogs are way less aggressive than dogs.
@@PeachDragon_ Absolutely!! I “trained” mine by getting her to be agreeable. She understands what I want and expect from her and because I give her so much love and respect, she agrees to do it... mostly. Sometimes she’s in a mood and refuses to and for the most part, I don’t force anything on her. I don’t have to. If you have had wolves, or wolfdogs, you know what I mean. She’s my companion, not a pet. We also have 3 dogs in our pack. They are much different and since she’s the baby of the family, she will sometimes look to them to see what they are doing if she’s confused, which isn’t often. For over 40 years I have always had a wolf or a wolfdog and I just love them. I dread the day they are totally outlawed everywhere. Unfortunately, that day is coming. Thora turned 4 on Dec. 28 and I feel like she might be the last one I am ever able to have. :(
@@13Wolfie13 i absolutely understand what you mean, my profile picture is of my Czech wolfdog Valefyr when he was 1 year old. I seriously doubt they'll be outlawed everywhere, considering that in America resides the biggest wolfdog "breed" By far, and even if they did ban wolfdogs they'd probably just ban the """ Mutts"""" I don't see them banning internationally recognized breeds like the Czech, sarloos and the bluebay, That being said all we can do is hope honestly.
@@PeachDragon_ I sure hope you’re right about that. I can’t imagine being without them. They are the most amazing breed out there. Mine have always been “mutts”. In 40 years, we have only used 2 breeders though. We like them having a touch of shepherd and/or malley in them, specifically for the traits they also provide. I guess if they are outlawed, I will go with a recognized breed later. My daddy passed away one month ago today. He actually chose to die instead of fight, but one of the reasons he gave was he desperately wanted to see Tundra, his beautiful boy. Tun was his very best friend and our only wolfdog who was highly trained in security. My daddy was a police officer and at the time there was no one to tell us you couldn’t or shouldn’t train a wolfdog for security and dude.... he was amazing at it. He was a quarter malamute and had a malley’s size, but the demeanor of a wolf. He was not aggressive at all unless someone came onto the property who shouldn’t be there and then he was silently use that size to intimidate them into leaving. He only ever actually bit one person and that person said he deserved it because he didn’t follow my dad’s instructions. It was our gas meter reader. He knew Tundra and was super friendly with him. My dad had cleaned out one of the garages and had 2 piles of tools and whatnot. One of the piles was to keep and one was to give away. Dad had covered the keep pile with a tarp and told the gas guy to not touch it when he went to look through the tools to see if he wanted any of them. The day he came to do that, we weren’t home and dad had told Tundra to watch the keep pile. The gas man said he had gone through the give away pile and just wanted to peek at the other pile. Tundra had been accompanying him the whole time and getting pets, but as soon as the guy lifted the corner of the tarp, Thora grabbed his arm and dragged him away. The guy wasn’t hurt, or anything.... just terrified and a little amused. He said as soon as he told Tundra he wouldn’t go back over there, he turned him loose and asked for pets again. Dad loved that story and loved that dog. He passed away from old age right around the time my mom passed away, so dad told my sister and I that he was tired here and ready to go home and see his wife and his wolf. I’m sorry for the rambling, but as a wolf person, I feel like you would “get” it. Were you also raised with having them in your home? I swear I think it’s something in our DNA that makes us want to bond with wolves. It was always a little ironic and cool to me that our last name also happened to be Wolfe. I thought it was such a great and fitting name for us that I never even changed it after I got married. Lol!
It is pretty obvious to me that your pack of dogs harass the wolf constantly and you think it is playing. The wolf is under a lot of stress from the videos that I have seen, and shown a lot of anxiety behaviors. I doubt that you are much of an actual dog trainer but more of a dog lover whose dogs will obey a command when there isn't anything better to do. JMO..
My wolfdog is the sweetest and easiest to train dog I've ever had. Whatever you're doing to train your dogs it isn't working so maybe stop being a Karen.
People commenting here have NO idea... You, saying your wolfdog is the sweetest, haha... Just wait until it becomes a 3 or 4 year old wolfdog. You can come back later and give us an update ;)
@@sboccinoci2172 Ok. She'll be 5 in a few months. Absolutely zero behavior problems. Well, okay, sometimes she talks back and argues if I tell her to get in the crate. She doesn't like it if she's not in the same room with me, and once she ate some base moulding because I was gone for like 2 hours. Saying that you can't train wolfdogs is just admitting that you have devolved to pre-paleolithic tier.
Proximo Rex I mean most dogs don’t sit when you say it one time so your point is moot. The fact that she even said the command seems to hint that it has sat on command before.
I had a wolf dog , Sasha, for 11 years. It was a rewarding but not an easy experience. There's a few things you absolutely need to learn in order to keep one. Firstly, you have to establish very early on, that you are the boss (alpha), don't let them walk ahead of you, and don't let them intimidate you with aggressive behavior. This is an animal that you must not spoil or mollycoddle. And, importantly, remember that they need LOTS of outdoor space, and LOTS of exercise, otherwise they can be destructive and agitated. Also, they do not have the same mentality as domesticated dogs in many ways, for instance it is not their primary goal to please you, they can be subordinate to you, but that is not the same thing as pleasing you. And they don't always respond positively to hugs and physical closeness. I enjoyed playing and roughhousing with my Sasha but her playfulness could easily turn into aggressiveness, you need to learn how to gauge their behavior. Some of the positives from my experience with her, was that she was extremely loyal and fearlessly protective ; I know without a doubt she would have fought to the death to defend me. And she could be very affectionate on her own terms. She mostly stayed outdoors, but would occasionally sleep at the foot of my bed on cold nights, however you need to have a doggie door installed, as she could get panicky if she felt trapped indoors. Also, she was very attached to me, but I had to introduce other dogs and people to her slowly in stages, she would accept them as part of the "pack" only after seeing me interact with them numerous times. Some important points to consider: Wolf dogs will form a lifelong bond with you, so you need to be committed long term. They can never be completely domesticated. They require far more work from you than a domesticated dog will. Its a mistake and a huge disservice to them to feel that you can turn them into something they are not. They are high energy and extremely alert and intelligent- you need to be equally so in order to keep one You must always avoid any situation where they might feel trapped or cornered. It was an amazing experience to have her in my life, but it was also almost a full time job, please consider this if you are thinking of owning one.
The pinned comment made no sense. How is everyone being rude they seems to just be pointing various to support their opinions and it looks like they’re right
Wolves and dogs aren't that different. If you don't care for them enough it's obvious that they'll go wild and aggressive. In short if you keep mistreating them and their needs, then it's easy to predict that your pet will act like this.
“This is their behavior, there is nothing wrong with this.” Woman clearly had absolutely no control over this animal. High contents can be absolutely gentle. She messed with this dog endlessly until he attacked her and gave him up. Correct this video title. “Why I CANNOT own a wolf of wolfdog.”
this dog is actually allegedly mid content and is no longer under this lady’s care. she has no clue what she’s talking about or how to handle these animals
I’m pretty sure that a wolf-dog or even a wolf rescue would be more than happy under a human’s care as long as it’s treated right and is respected. What’s been shown in the video however is literally the opposite of what you want to do with a wolf animal. The dogs were more aggressive than the wolf and it’s clear the poor thing is underfed and mistreated. I hope he/she is out of her care.

Yeah. She keeps saying stuff like "wolves are the reason we have domestic dogs. Cuz wolves suck and dogs are better" like girl... just fuck off already! But me as a wolf therian(look it up)... I find this highly offensive. A dog or wolfs loyalty to its owner is not by trait.. but by trust. Treat you or wolfdog like a wolfdog. Say if.. your dog is a hunting breed, you don't let him laze around the house.. you buy him toys cuz a hunting dog is the breed he is. You let a lazy dog laze around. So don't treat your wolfdog like a pet. Don't give it a leash and what not.. give it a den, let it roam outside. The dog doesn't have to be on terms with you, you have to be on terms with the dog.
i think she made this video cause people criticized her before for "owning" a wild animal (?). and now people are criticizing for a disclaimer they indirectly requested
The thing that’s pissing me off is how she keep saying he’s not a pet and you can’t keep them but you’re literally playing and petting the damn wolf like he’s you’re own. It don’t make sense you literally have him in a cage..no he might not be domesticated but if you keeping him in that fence and you feed it then yes he is your pet
I own a wolfdog and what I see is someone who doesn't know how to train dogs in general giving advice on how to train. Dude I saw the video where you threw rocks to the wolfdog when he had something in his possession. People like you make it hard for responsible owners to own one because of laws.
yeah, what's next? next video with kids screaming and bullying a half human kid, while she saying ""non humans are very aggressive and will never be able to earn a place in our social life"?
GamingSpecialist Wolves do not obey human beings because have bigger brain, they are smarter than dogs and they live independent life, Dogs are like 2 year old wolf baby. Dogs just want to please their masters.
We domesticated Canis lupus 20,000 years ago. They are the same as a dog in many ways. The main issue here is you are treating it like a wild animal, so it's going to act like one. It's caged in an electric fence which it realizes who causes this so of course, it's aggressive. If we could domesticate wolves thousands of years ago with barely any problems because we treated them right. This Wolfdog clearly did this out of being tired of being mistreated. H & K made a video on this entire video. He has a Wolfdog who acts like a normal dog with no incident. He treats it like a domesticated animal, unlike what you did by treating as a wild animal.

I kinda want a husky or gereman Shepherd lol when I get one I am going to get a puppy and treat right with respect and love the dog same with a pitbull😊
James Lewis if you get a husky be prepared for taking it on walks every day. They normally need exercise every day since most huskys are high energy dogs. Just a friendly little reminder. From one dog owner to another! ^-^

My analytics report that the majority of people view this video from a mobile device. I am certain that they are not viewing this mobile device in the quiet silence required to actually listen to it. At least that is my most optimistic conclusion based on almost every single comment making absolutely no sense if anyone actually listened to the audio.

I'm not saying go buy a hybrid and introduce it to your toddlers and kittens. They CAN definitely be a more aggressive breed. But to say that they can literally NEVER be domestic animals is just well.... WRONG.

When people see me scruffing, pinning and yelling a swift, loud & sharp *"NO!"* at one of my new pupper friends... they FREAK THE FFFF... OUT!! I have to explain to them that thos is how their very own mom would do it... but they usually still don't get it, because they are idiots that anthropomorphize their animals due to growing up on a steady diet of English-speaking cartoon animals and having ZERO background in zoology.

Wolf's are not pets ? Mine had no problem eating dog food and she let me pet her . She had no problems with me given her a bath or walking her on a leash either. She killed some of the naighboorhood cats in the backyard there was allot of dead squirrels and birds as well. We had to carry them off in Black trash bags every now and then you would find small bones in the backyard.
Don’t know much about wolves, though if that is a wolf, seems more chill than the domesticated dogs in this vid. It seems the other dogs are nipping for attention where the wolf would rather not.

The wolfdog is actually extremely well behaved, a lot of trained wolfdogs i know would've snapped at those annoying ass dogs who kept attacking him, if i could work with him for like a week it could turn out incredibly well, just a shitty owner
Dear oh dear. With much respect; there is a very big difference between cannot (as you state on the video heading) and should not. Federal law allows you to own a wolf-dog, as long as it is up to 98% wolf, 2% dog. You definitely need to check your state laws as some are implementing further regulations. There are definitely laws where you cannot capture and keep wild wolves, unless you have very specific licensing, permits and facilities. Yes, she is right in saying they are not your typical dog. They do require space, attention, physical activity and a lot of love. Saying they cannot be tamed, trained or domesticated is simply false. Wolfdogs can be tamed, friendly and fully domesticated if attended at an early age, cared for and not captured from the wild after reaching adulthood. After all, any wild animal is just that; wild. Also, she should inform a bit more about purity, lineage and percentages in breeding. The higher the purity, the more wolf-like behavior you would expect. She should definitely advocate on illegal breeding and keeping and certainly should educate people to understand these are not your average dogs. I get what she’s trying to do, but it should be done with accurate information and not half-baked facts mixed with personal opinions.
It's over for her
I personally have a wolf dog and he has NEVER been aggressive, he is the best animal I have ever had, I did a lot of research, and a lot of careful planning before I even considered having a wolf dog.. you are correct that most people should not own a wolf dog, but there are those of us that did their homework and knew what they were getting into.. So to say NOONE should have a wolf dog is IMHO is NOT right!
if you really have a wolfdog you should know more than anyone that they are not like a normal dogs, and maybe your wolfdog is more dog than wolf, with those kind of animals you will never know wich part of them is more stronger if is the dog part then you would have an amazing pet, but if is the wolf part then when you realize that, you should take him to a sanctuary or release him in the wild. and not everyone can have one wolfdog you may agree that they require a lot of your time raising it, eat a lot more than the biggest dogs, needs more space to run and play, and you need to be more carefully with it to avoid injures when playing. and congrats to you for having succes with your wolfdog, you know some people just want them because the are something exotic and risky, but dont really comprehend what it really means have one.
Thw wolfdog is not the problem here. You let those two other dogs terrorise the wolfdog and the wolfdog try to avoid them. Why dont you say to your dog to stop terrorise your wolfdog. This is so worring to see, i had a wolfdog before and he never did growl at me like yours do, i could take his bone when he eat it etc. People dont listen to her, she clearly dont know how to handle dogs and wolfdogs.

@@عبدالله-ب5ج7ر that's a real funny one. I suppose letting your wolf run around in a pack with dogs in an isolated outdoor area with no supervision and minimal human interaction is the right way to do it? She created a ticking time bomb and acted surprised when it went off.
I'm so sorry for the comment I'm about to make but first of you have a wolf/wolf dog in an enclosure that is not close to looking like their nature I also think that if you are struggling with Lauren you should try and act like the alpha because you are clearly not by the look of how both he and you are acting in the video you don't seem to have him under control and if you don't start acting like an alpha (alpha wolf) you are not going to get far with him. The only thing he seems to be looking for is your comfort you are right we shouldn't underestimate a wolf dog yet we also shouldn't think that they are wolves there are different ways each wolf dog will react, now I don't know if you've had him since a pup but if you have you probably would have had more control over him. The way Lauren reacted when you tried to take the toy is him telling you to back off and believe me you do not want to end up in a fight with him. Also I would like to give you a helpful TIP: if your dog (any of them) approach you without you calling them growl and I am being dead serious, my aunt used to work with wild animals (mainly wolves and wild dogs) and the best way the tell a dog who was not requested for to leave is to growl, stare them in the eyes and growl they should back off. I really hope that you get him under control for his safety and for your own I also advice you to take my tip because pushing him away won't work he's not a human you can't just tell him to leave you alone
Lady. . . youre letting that dog boss you around, you need to show it who's boss, and the enviorment you have the dog in is terrible, my Dad had an actual wolf as a pet and it listened to him because he showed it that hes the boss and that wolf was in his world, not the other way around. Once you learn that, then make another video. . . otherwise it takes zero amount of money to delete this video.
Wolves guided humans to prey thanks to their smell and humans once they hunted always let the wolves have the scraps. Eventually a bond formed between the two and here we are
I think this was meant for a very specific public in mind, so i'll paraphrase and hopefully people will get why they should not own a wolfdog: 1. don't get a wolfdog just because the concept of owning one is cool 2. just because you own one since a puppy, it doesn't mean their behavior will be predictable, they can easily be as aggressive and dangerous as a 100% wolf. 3. They need space, and chances are that you don't have the space needed for one 4. A low percentage of wolf doesn't mean they will be more dog like, if you want an animal that is really dog like, just get a dog. 5. Getting a wolf dog from a breeder makes you a participant in animal exploitation, these people are profiting from a mixture of animals that is very unlikely to occur naturally. 6. Just because you know of one case of a human succesfully raising a wolfdog, it does not mean you will be equally succesful. Case studies are not often taken seriously and with the same validity as experiments, why should we take specific scenarios and cases seriously when it comes to wolfdogs? makes no sense. 7. If you really want a pet that is loving and sweet, adopt a dog, any dog. There are countless of dogs in need of adoption in shelters that are as cool as wolfdogs. Now, i don't compleately agree with her because there are a lot of foolish people that thought getting a wolf dog puppy would be cool and then could not handle it as an adult. This means there are wolfdogs that need to be adopted. If you have the resources, the space, time and patience to learn to take care of these unique animals and you have it in your heart to give a loving family to one, I don't see the problem of adopting one. If you want to help these animals, you can donate to the sanctuaries where they are located or report illegal behavior of the selling and distribution of wolfdogs if you live in a state where this is illegal.
This whole video you tell us it's wrong and that people shouldn't do it yet the entire video was your domesticated dogs trying to bully and dominate it and all the wolf wanted was to be by you and be loved. You are an irresponsible owner and would say you need to have all your dogs taken from you as you do not know how to control any of them. Your dogs obviously don't see you as the dominate owner you should be. They need to see you as a leader and if they did they would not be attacking the wolf they way they were. Just please stop acting like you are the know all be all of this subject when clearly you know nothing about what you are talking about and can't even control your own domesticated dogs let alone the wolf.

The dog is playing, hence why it’s capable of growling like that and not tying to kill anything...it also has it in his genes to not kill weaker animals than it if dictated by its owner...the wolf on the other hand....is incredibly malnourished and abused, you can tell. I also found that this bitch almost starved a horse to death and has since then given up on the wolf
If she really believes that why have her little dogs by it the wolf seems annoyed by the other dogs 🤣 it wasn’t even acting bad I’ve seen way worse dogs
We have had a Wolf/Husky/Australian Shepherd mix since 2006. Her name is Oreo (she came with that name) she is wonderful. She is very smart and loving to everyone. We trust her around our grandchildren. She is really good with our little dog too. She gives kisses to all of us especially the grandchildren. I would have a wolf mix in the future if I had the chance. It is all in how you treat them and how you raise them.
You do not have any "pets". They all seem very undisciplined. Your "domesticated dogs" are the ones out of control lady. Actually the wolf seems to be the most well behaved and peaceful out of all of those "dogs". Funny how you tell people they should not have wolves or wolf-dogs, yet you do.
Jon Parr the dogs are probably playing which my dogs do as well wolves are not easy pets actually in way but this person thinks that you can’t own one which is irrelevant because she doesn’t explain the subject properly and acts like a know it all.

That wolf most likely wouldn't survive in the wild thats why she has it. Im sure if release back into the wild was an option she would have done it. Also she's taking care of it the best as she can given the situation.
@@amang1001 the daft bint should take it to a properly equipped facility then, there's plenty of wolf sanctuaries and they're all a lot better than her backyard.
I have to disagree. Yes wolves ARE wild animals and should NOT be kept as pets in a perfect world. However, this is just not true. I have a pure Timberwolf. Ive had her for 13 years. Extremely intelligent. Very sassy. Don’t get me wrong she has her days. But none the less she is the most kind, loving & gentle animal I have ever been blessed with. I am in no way shape or form promoting having wild animals as pets. I got her under certain circumstances when she was only a few weeks old and she has turned out to be the best companion I’ve ever had. I trust her more than I trust my cat dude. Lol. If you take the time to bond with a wolf pup, learn what he/she likes, doesn’t like, learn the mannerisms when they’re happy, sad, irritated, tired, feeling sick and learn the personality as well as building trust. That could be an amazing relationship. Js. Now if you think you are just going to get a wolf pup and not put that extra time and effort into building that kind of trustful loving relationship than that is an entirely different story.

Don't listen to this girl. I mean to some degree she's right, never get a wolf dog if you aren't prepared to deal with what comes with owning one. First off, if you live in an apartment DONT get a wolf dog. They need lots of open space and small inclosed spaces, like apartments can make a wolf dog anxious and turn violent. The area they roam outside in also need to be incredibly secure. Most average fences can't cut it as wolf dogs can jump so high a six foot fence may not be enough. Once you get your 7 foot tall fence it must be made sure of that the wolf dog can't get out. They've been known to dig under fences and escape and even if they are desperate enough try to bite through it. So you'll have to add concrete border and an electric fence to your budget, which, I will tell you right now is not cheap. Next, if you want to own a wolf dog, be prepared for lots of damages to your personal items. Wolf dogs are love to chew up anything they can get their mouths on if they aren't supervised. Lots of wolf dogs have separation anxiety and when left alone in rooms they tend to get antsy and start chewing up walls, doors and furniture. also, if you want a wolf dog and have any other pets don't get one. Wolf dogs typically like to assert their dominance and are very rough when doing so. If you have small dogs or cats they could potentially hurt the animal thinking it's a toy or even prey. If you have large dogs, the wolf dog could see it as a threat and also harm it as well. Lastly, don't get a wolf dog as your starting pet. This girl is right about wolf dogs not being pets like dogs. They can still bond with you and show you love and attention, but it is a constant effort that takes a lot of time and a lot more money. Some states even make you get permits to be legally allowed to own one. If you are not willing to go through all this trouble DO NOT purchase a wolf dog. Many people think they can own a wolf dog without taking these warnings to heart and end up not being able to stay committed and just abandon their wolf dog. To stop the rising amounts of stray wolf dogs, please, if you're not willing to put in the time and effort one of these animals takes, DONT GET ONE.
Yeah, seems like you might me better for explaining this. The way she does is almost hypocritical, you know. If they're such a handful and so dangerous, why do you own one?
Hmmm... when you think about it, Alaskan malamutes are, in a way, wolf dogs. They require quite a lot of space, will ruin your things if not supervised (trust me, i've experienced it firsthand), will mostly consider anything smaller than them a prey and anything size of them/bigger than them - rival (Aja, my alaskan malamute has brought few times dead stray cats she hunted herself) and they pretty much will be a nightmare if they're not being taken care of in general. But i personally think that the reason would be that often, back in the day, alskan malamutes would more than likely mix with the local wolves and so they are wolf dogs, just not direct ones (where one of their parents' is a wolf). P.s.: Sorry if it didn't make any sence it's 2 am and i will probably go to sleep now...
Seems like there must’ve been some sort of legal reason for making this video. Meanwhile, the wolf is actually the most behaved critter in that entire yard 🤔
She's referring to the behaviour and needs of the animal. Neither will ever be like that of a pet. For example, you can't keep a wolf in a house for the majority of the day and then take it for a walk to let it poop. And a wolf isn't nearly as "friendly" as a (well kept) dog, even if it lets you stroke its fur sometimes.
Okay so, 1: Saying that wolves cannot be domesticated is very stupid. Wolves have been domesticated and that's how they evolved to become dogs. And while she/you said this already, this is incredibly stupid as domesticating takes many generations. As they repeatedly tame and domesticated wolves I the past, the first generations will be no different than wolves. 2: Judging by the size of the cage shown in the video, it is not what's needed for the wolf, nor is it appropriate for the amount of animals you have. And an electrocuted fence will teach them to avoid the fence, thus shrinking their "territory"/land space. 3: Although I have no idea how she/you trained this animal I already saw something that would obviously make the wolf have a distaste for you. Yes wolves act differently than dogs but attempting to take something the wolf is playing with or gnawing on is incredibly stupid especially if it's made for the wolf/wolf-dog/your other dogs. Another reason it could be temperamental is having many other dogs of whatever species and other wolfdogs/wolves (I couldn't see if there was another one but there is a possibility) in that small enclosure can lead to fights which would raise the stress already being caused by a small environment that is not suited for the wolf at all. 4: Another thing to note that ties into point three, your/her dog/her dog*s* (in this video it appears only one is messing with the wolf but one video isn't every day) is actively seen messing with the wolf. While yes this could be just play the wolf could easily become temperamental given the points stated above and start fights which could cause more stress and lack of obedience e.t.c. 5: I'm not entirely sure about this point but I don't think you've properly asserted your dominance to the wolf, thus having it challenge your commands and disobey. While the alpha system in wild wolf packs are fake and are not actually real, there are wolves with more dominance e.t.c. those with dominance tend to be treated more respectfully and get to eat first and eat what they want because they have the assertance and show of will and strength to back it up.
You don't advocate yet you own one. You're keeping it in an enclosure. It's a pet. Wild is in the wild. Does that animal depend on you as a food source? If it does, it's a pet.

Youre talking shit about the wolf while the dogs gang up on it and attack it nonstop
What the heck
Your dogs are more annoying than this wolf. Maybe focus on training your own PETS.
Alexandra MUA still can’t own a wolf dog
denee hines my wolf dog is just fine :) had him 11 years now
Alexandra MUA that was a big fuck u to that guy above u ! Lmao I liked that I’m baked and in bed and truly enjoyed that
I am surprised the wolf hasn't gotten annoyed. It seem like a bad situation.
That behavior they are exhibiting is called playing and keeping their hierarchy order intacted. Wow, please don't own any dog tell your trained on animal behavior.
so basically the whole video is "see what i'm doing here and everything i do? don't do it."
Jeff Gregg you got the message ! but, admititly historically speaking humans already did this
That is literally all dogs.
That's what the loud vocal calls where during that whole "attack"
She instigated every bit of it.

My favourite thing in the world is people who keep exotic animals as pets telling me that exotic animals are not pets and people should not keep them.
My point exactly

Imagine treating a wild animal as a wild animal

That being said all we can do is hope honestly.
They are high energy and extremely alert and intelligent- you need to be equally so in order to keep one
You must always avoid any situation where they might feel trapped or cornered.
It was an amazing experience to have her in my life, but it was also almost a full time job, please consider this if you are thinking of owning one.

Wolves and dogs aren't that different. If you don't care for them enough it's obvious that they'll go wild and aggressive. In short if you keep mistreating them and their needs, then it's easy to predict that your pet will act like this.
I think you dog is more unbehaved than the wolf
“This is their behavior, there is nothing wrong with this.” Woman clearly had absolutely no control over this animal. High contents can be absolutely gentle. She messed with this dog endlessly until he attacked her and gave him up. Correct this video title. “Why I CANNOT own a wolf of wolfdog.”
this dog is actually allegedly mid content and is no longer under this lady’s care. she has no clue what she’s talking about or how to handle these animals
HOTT NUTT Yep! She messed with him when he was eating and he attacked her. He was high content though.

We domesticated Canis lupus 20,000 years ago. They are the same as a dog in many ways. The main issue here is you are treating it like a wild animal, so it's going to act like one. It's caged in an electric fence which it realizes who causes this so of course, it's aggressive. Your wolfdog is bad because you're a bad owner. Simple as that.
I'd go as far as saying that the wolf isn't even bad, there are no bad dogs; only bad owners. They'll respond how you've raised them to respond.

She's stupid, look her dogs not listening to her at all.
@@WuTangChopstick she has absolutely no idea what shes doing
I give full respect to the bad ass cave man that decided to tame and breed the first wolves.
They didn't tame them. Wolves gradually decided themselves to spend more time arouns humans. For example hunting together..
Wolves guided humans to prey thanks to their smell and humans once they hunted always let the wolves have the scraps. Eventually a bond formed between the two and here we are
I think this was meant for a very specific public in mind, so i'll paraphrase and hopefully people will get why they should not own a wolfdog:
1. don't get a wolfdog just because the concept of owning one is cool
2. just because you own one since a puppy, it doesn't mean their behavior will be predictable, they can easily be as aggressive and dangerous as a 100% wolf.
3. They need space, and chances are that you don't have the space needed for one
I vant agree with her with anything cuz how she handles hers and how she lumps all wolfdogs together. I just can't
Personally I think she should have all her animals took of her and all separated the wolf maybe released to the wild
You said that to domesticate wolves is animal abuse, while you are actually abusing this poor little wolf. No wonder that wolf is out of control.

Emma Stewart This was a hundred times more informative than the video. Thank you
So she's kind of right but a little extreme
actually to be honest this kind of sounds like owning it as a wolf anyways
Yeah, seems like you might me better for explaining this. The way she does is almost hypocritical, you know. If they're such a handful and so dangerous, why do you own one?
Emma Stewart she is right 100%
Hmmm... when you think about it, Alaskan malamutes are, in a way, wolf dogs.

You must be trolling lol a 50lb dog kill a wild wolf?? No
She's referring to the behaviour and needs of the animal. Neither will ever be like that of a pet. For example, you can't keep a wolf in a house for the majority of the day and then take it for a walk to let it poop. And a wolf isn't nearly as "friendly" as a (well kept) dog, even if it lets you stroke its fur sometimes.
GameWithAdam would u have had her whack it with a stick?
inside a fence though
+Duke crystal There are a lot of dogs that are MUCH bigger and more formidable than any Wolf.
Okay so,
1: Saying that wolves cannot be domesticated is very stupid.
Wolves have been demesticated by Native Americans for centuries.
