when I first saw the dimensional rift that broly and gogeta made I thought of this well not this in particular but something similar like one dimensional rift leading to GT and Omega glowing super Saiyan 4 gogeta into the dimensional rift and finding super Saiyan blue gogeta and broly fighting so he joins the fight and super Saiyan blue gogeta meets super Saiyan 4 gogeta

Wasn't it made clear long ago that Z Broly didn't have an infinitely growing power, but rather insane ki regeneration? He explodes with energy outbursts and says ''my power is rising... overflowing!'' due to not being able to contain his ki, since it generates too fast and too much.
If I remember correctly, it's also been stated that his power is increasing
Could you continue this scenario by having other movie vilains being transported to Super?
5th form Coola meeting Golden Frieza, Slug against Piccolo, Turles in Universe 6 (maybe), Janemba breaking out older vilains form Hell, the Bojack gang against the Earthlings during the time of this part, these sort of things. And they'd be from universes where they won against their Z fighters, since it's the only possible situation for them to be alive in 780; so they'd be kinda stronger too (?)

that would be a fun what if where all the heroes have to fight the movie villains. Cabba, kale and caulifla and overwhelmed by turles, calling in hit. Piccolo and the namekians have to fuse to fight slug. Cooler starts taking over frieza's army, while janemba is screwing up other world. Z broly is fighting super broly. Hirudegarn is fighting ultimate gohan and gotenks.
This could become different parts where the shockwaves so powerful it gets into the afterlife and breaks the soul cleansing machine which creates Janemba for part 2
janemba would be so easy to make cannon. You could have any excuse for the sould cleansing machine being broken and possess anyone.

I miss the sadistic side of Broly that we saw in Z. Super broly is a monster and he hated it, Z broly was a monster and *loved every minute of it* . And tbh that sorta self acceptance of his power and villainy was refreshing, a sorta "evil chosen one" that you rarely ever see in fiction. Broly IS the legendary super saiyan, but that doesn't mean he's good. In fact, Broly is more of a threat to the universe than frieza was whole Z Broly was alive.
There are far more villains who are evil because they are evil like Z Broly. It's not as rare as you described it as.
Agreed, I appreciate dbs broly having a better backstory, but I feel like they could have split the differences between these two broly’s. have him be more of a good boy and pacifist when he’s calm, but have his switch completely when he transforms. I don't know if it's just me but I'm picturing a scene where Z Paragus asks Super Broly if he's happy and being glad to hear a yes, Z Paragus wishing on some level that his Broly was more like Super.
There's a manga where they meet and then Z Broly goes to the GT timeline. Then Z Broly attacks Goten and Pan. Gohan confronts him and they haven't continued the manga

Even if this idea is more fanfiction when anything. It still was a fun one-shot idea.
What if Min Suggestion:
What if Future Gohan visits Trunks on the Supreme Kai's Planet?
(How Gohan gets there? He learns Instant Transmission while in the Otherworld.)
Or he ask his dad, goku, to pull some string so yemma would allow him to meet trunks and train with him.
Super Paragus is a better father, because he went to Vampa to save and look after his son, all that training, he put his son first, he could of just as easily accepted the kings orders and left his son to die.

This certainly was a fun scenario, good job man. I enjoyed the ride.
If there were any changes I could suggest, I would say Goku and Vegeta should have hold off on the potara fusion till after they got on the planet. That way we could see a Z Broly "Kakarot!!!" Moment making him go even more psychotic and sadistic.
Other than that, Paragis at this point is probably going to lay low for a little while just to figure out everything that's going on and definitely putting his revenge on Vegeta on hold. Especially considering everybody just killed his son who he never figured would die. Free of the terror that was his son, now he's left to contemplate his thoughts:
"What do I do now...? My son is dead. Killed by that Warrior who looked like Vegeta and -...a different Broly. When we entered that portal I didn't think much of it at first, but it seemed we entered a completely different universe. There were two of my son how else can it be explained?! And it seems more saiyans are here. Is there a Vegeta that exists in this universe too? Considering how different my son is, is he even the same Vegeta? Is... is my Vengeance even worth a damn anymore?! GGAAAHH! What's the point if I can't even kill the son of that BASTARD king!? After all they killed my son.. something I never thought would happen. But.. my son is still technically alive. That other Broly.. he's different. More docile than the son I grew to know.. But he still has that power. Different. But still somewhat similar... maybe I should watch over him just in case. If I can get another control device as backup, then I have insurance in case he is truly like my son. Although I might not need it. However as I've seen so far you can never be too careful. ... ..
My plans for vengeance are clearly on hold for the time being. Maybe,.. just maybe.. I can truly connect with this Broly as a father- not fearing for his life but simply living and growing to see him take new strides in strength. And it might be high time I concentrate on my own strength as well.. Let's see what this universe has in-store for me. .. for us."
Naturally he may get curious as to whether or not another version of himself exists in the universe. But he can always ask Broly later.

What about gogeta? I have a soft spot for fusion reborn.
I just had a crazy thought: due to how wonky time travel is, what would happen if 2 Future Trunks' came from 2 separate timelines to the same past at the same time? The original story was awkward enough, but this would make it even more so.
Or better yet, take a page from your "What if TRUNKS & BULLA Were TWINS?" story (which you haven't finished yet) and have Future Trunks from 1 timeline and Future Bulla from another come to the same past; this would cause a ripple effect with Bulma, as she later has twins instead of just Trunks, meaning Bulla's born early.
If this is canon. Imagine Two DEVILS become best friend and beat the shizz out of everyone. Jiren the strongest man? nope Fusion/Potara Broly takes it.

I see people saying paragus isn't a good dad Now here me out, maybe by human standards he wasn’t the best dad, but by Saiyan standards which is what really matters he was actually a decent father who just made bad choices. He let anger cloud his judgement in raising his Son. He wanted revenge on King Vegeta for casting his Son to a distant uninhabitably Planet. Which is understandable.The fact that Paragus was willing to put his life on the line by hijacking a ship and traveling to a dangerous Planet shows already that he cared for his Son. As for those who might want to point out The shock collar What choice did Paragus have? Broly turning into a Oozaru was a threat to himself and Broly. He could easily destroy the Planet, then they’d both die. So restraining that cut off the possibility of him either becoming angered or transforming into a Oozaru and going Berserk. Not many other methods when your son’s already stronger than most Saiyan’s as a Baby, much less when they’re grown up. The only non-justified thing I believe Paragus did was shoot Bah’s ear off because he felt Bah was a waste of time. That was completely unjustified and would be the equivalent of your own father shooting or getting rid of a beloved pet. But aside from that most of his actions were justified. He trained his son to be a weapon due to King Vegeta treating them both poorly and having sentenced Paragus’ son practically to death and thus Paragus who knew he stood no chance as an outcast raised his son as a weapon to get revenge. He felt the need to avenge both of them by using Broly. While it’s messed up it’s somewhat justified as opposed to not being justified at all
As to show that he cares for his Son, remember what he attempted to do when he realized his Son might be killed by Vegeta? He tried to call him to safety to protect him. Of course it didn’t work due to him having his remote stolen from him and thus the fight only escalated past that point. But he clearly cares about his son. The problem is that he’s strict and often unfair. But to say he’s a bad parent is harsh, especially by Saiyan standards because accoding to Gine most fathers don’t care about their son at all and likely just leave the raising of the child to the mother alone. Heck, if the child’s weak enough they’ll be casted to another Planet. But Paragus defied the kingdom to save his. I’ll admit he’s not a very good dad, but he’s certainly decent and doesn’t get all the credit he deserves. You really have to know his whole story to even somewhat side with him otherwise you’d be looking at Paragus through the lens of Cheelai who views him as strictly a bad abusive father and nothing else.

@@AtomicoMacaco your completely right but I followed this channel because the what if’s were realistic, everything that happened would’ve happened in the show as well but not this.
Itz_nicK _Playz Z Broly would be just fine, if properly scaled. He destroyed a quarter of the universe at his time in the Freeza saga. In this case, as salad said, he would have naturally progressed through time for the entire time between that and 780. He also won in that timeline, since he survived, meaning that he would be even stronger than the usual z Broly before the time skip. Which means... Yeah, he had more than a decade of training, as he already had broken his restraints. More than a decade to grow and hone his power more and more, with his absurd potential and natural power.
Z Broly would still lose, but it wouldn't a one hit kill for sure. Remember all the shit that he probably had to deal with in that time: Majin Buu, as he'd almost certainly be easily revived with how much energy Broly lets out ; The entire space patrol, possibly even including Their fucking angel, as they'd try to stop someone that was destroying the entire universe ; Moro, as he would undoubtably escape if the patrol had to focus on Broly ; the namekian savior, pybara, possibly the remains of the Z fighters, maybe even having trained in the time chamber.
This was time skipped. If Z Broly just popped up right when he started fighting vegito, yeah, he'd die just from getting close, but after so long we have no idea how much he'd grow.

Salad definitely got his Paragus dads mixed up, Super Paragus cared for his son's well being which is why he showed concerns during the fight in the movie. Z Paragus set his son up to be killed by a meteor.

Plus, Paragus states in the Japanese dub (from what I’ve heard at least) that he only wanted his son dead because he knew of the danger he posed. He was even a little remorseful about it too.

Anyone please correct this if I'm too outlandish. I don't know that much about time travel in dragon ball except that when you go back in time you get sent into an AU. This popped into my mind randomly. What happens if Trunks puts in a different time to go back to his timeline from the AU he created in the Android/Cell Saga? Since you can't go back in time in the universe you are currently in that means that maybe, theoretically, you in fact can go back in time in your own universe from the AU. This is what I would imagine would go down. Trunks in future saga travels to the "past" and gives goku the heart virus medication as normal. When he goes to the time machine to time travel he decides to *immediately* time travel to 3 years later from the AU he's in thinking it's the past and goes there. This sends him back to the future timeline during the Android saga where everyone got wiped out. Would this happen if events played out like this or does it make another AU?
