I had it when I was a kid. The addition of cream cheese is intriguing. I'd adjust the process a bit though to ensure a better texture. In other words, creamed-cream cheese and heavy cream together as you have done, but then I would put Pistachio pudding in with the pineapples so that the pudding mix gets thoroughly dissolved in the pineapple juices, and then combine the creamed-cream cheese and heavy cream with the pudding-pineapple mixture, then toss in the nuts and the mini mallows at this final folding stage. Great recipe!

I just finished making this again actually. The store didn’t have pistachio flavored jello so I used banana flavored. It’s soooo good. We’re giving some to family. We aren’t getting together either this year but are planning next year already. Happy Thanksgiving 😊
