Rock on Shelf Show #77

Here is a rock I found along a gravel road. The roads get muddy and the road crews improve drive ability by dumping loads of gravel to allow vehicle access. I like to walk along the roadsides to find fresh gravel. The gravel pits mine along the Yellowstone River. There is a company in Forsyth Montana that I've seen their semitrucks many times traveling thr interstate along the Yellowstone to provide customers. I like the color pattern. Id like to polish the other side or maybe even harvest for slabs and cabochons

I don't know my rocks either but it looks kinda like peridot to me?

It's definitely green in color, I will have to look up peridot in matrix. Thanks, and I hope your fall season is treating you well
