heyyyy here's my first izone video!! izone has some of my favourite dancers and choreographies in the whole industry so it definitely won't be the last video about them. please let me know if you want more (about izone or anyone else)!

i'm sorry for putting yena as a main dancer instead of a lead dancer, i wasn't paying attention to what i was writing... our girl is an amazing dancer but it's not her position, sorry for my mistake! i'll do better next time

Imagine what Hyewon could be if the company gave them proper training instead of just comeback practice every few months. She has improved thanks to experience on stage, but she could be so so so much better
RIGHT!! she has soooo much potential and she's hard working, she only needs some training and more practice for their comebacks... if she had more time to practice the choreos she'd do them better but the agency doesn't give her enough time. even then, she's able to keep izone synchronized (if she was as bad as people say she is then izone wouldn't be the most synchronized group!) and shows a lot of potential
She needs more time to connect with how her body moves. When I first started dancing I danced like Hyewon because I felt like the way my body moved felt unnatural and weird. I remember my dance teacher telling me that that was common to feel because dancing is NOT a natural thing for human bodies to do (especially if you didn't grow up dancing). It takes time to build confidence in your body's capabilities and it's a different journey for everyone. Sakura is a prime example of someone who built up that confidence (at an amazingly fast rate), where as Hyewon is still learning and figuring it out.

Bro I feel like yujin isn’t as appreciated as she should be. She’s still really young like just 1 year older than wonyoung. But she does everything so nicely and her hard work really shows
i wonder how you feel now that nine months after ur comment, she debuted in ive as the best dancer of the group :') no hate to the other girls, they're all talented but imo yujin does eleven's choreo the best!

yuri definitely suits the dance best for me personally. i find that she’s genuinely enjoying dancing and especially the chorus lol it’s so cute
i love when idols look like they're genuinely having fun on stage! technique, skills, etc are all very important of course but yuri's genuine smile isn't something that can be faked, panorama was her best era imo. her moves were good and u can see how much she enjoys being on stage

For 1:30, I think Chaewon stays on the side because her next lines are some continuous highnotes and the choreo is hard to dance while singing so she needs to rest for a bit to prepare for the next part.
For Eunbi, I think it is simply that the formation might not look good if she dances in the front immediately so she waits and joins back later.
ohhh that'd make sense!! and eunbi would be to the side because she also has a lot of high notes + the formation on stage would keep an even number with 10 instead of 11
Our girls did really great but Panorama is definitely Yena, Yujin and Eunbi’s era feat. Yuri
ok obviously hyewon clearly isnt as good at a dancer but what im rlly proud of her for doing is that she keeps up and never misses a beat (even during debut era), which is takes a lot of practice for someone who hardly trained when she first joined produce
EXACTLY!! she gets so much hate but people just don't understand how hard it is for someone without training to follow izone's choreos and keep up with them without messing up the synchronization, hyewon should get more appreciation for her hard work

yeah i agree with yujin like she got always blocked at the back or in the wing side of the choreography,, disadvantage of being tall.

this dance is good for those like yena and eunbi because it is more of their style of dancing.
yup!! this choreo lets the girls use power so it's great for power focused dancers like yena and eunbi. the other choreos were more focused on having "weightless" moves for the soft/elegant vibe, which is pretty much the opposite lol

Istg Chaewon, Yena, and Yuri ate the choreography. They stood out the best for me, along with Eunbi.
I love this kind of videos, i mean, it shows the details per member and with a good reasoning. I would've praise more Yuri for some parts but maybe that's because she's my bias lol. Overall i do agree with the reasoning and the editing helped to understand it.
honestly yuri was amazing this era!! it was my second dance analysis video and i was worried it'd be too long so i left some stuff out, i agree that she deserved more praise (they all did tbh). for my next izone analysis, i'll do it in two parts so i can take more time to say as much stuff as i want :)

- i feel like this choreo requires a lot of preciseness(?). like you pointed out the arms not being straight/legs after "shoot take a panorama" being off
- i like how you don't sugarcoat things,, like it's very obvious that ur a wiz*one bc of how much you fangirl over them in between bits but you point out their flaws as well without bringing them down
- canon effect haha (photography pun)
- this analysis helped me realize how intricate their formations rlly are
- this video looks rlly professional... like up to par with other big dance analysis youtubers
all in all, fantastic work mau!! looking forward to seeing more content from this channel - not just as a friend, but as a subscriber!

(She has huge potential on being a Lead Rapper, but like Hyewon, the Company wont give her any lines.)
Hyewon: Lead Rapper, Sub Vocalist, Visual
(Some ppl want to remove Hyewon's Sub Vocalist role, but I think it should stay, becuz she might not feel emotion on her singing, and she's quite monotone, but she is Stable, thats what makes her a Sub Vocalist. And shes also not given any Rap Lines other than Violeta.)
Yena: Main Rapper, Lead Dancer (Main Dancer) Lead Vocalist
(C'mon it's Yena do you even wanna ask?)
Chaeyeon: Main Dancer, Lead Rapper (Main Rapper) Lead Vocalist (Main Vocalist)
(Might be overkill but she is one of the best Aces in Kpop ever next to Wheein and Soyeon)
Chaewon: Lead Vocalist (Main Vocalist) Lead Dancer
(One of the best Vocals in Iz*One in my opinion, and the Company has also given her more Adlibs and high notes, same in Fiesta, Sequence or in DDDance, but DDDance was made by another company so I don't know abt that.)
Minju: Lead Rapper, Sub Vocalist (Lead Vocalist Potential) (Sub Dancer) Visual, Lead Center
Nako: Sub Vocalist (Lead Vocalist)
(In terms of one of the strongest Vocals she's gotta be one of them, she has stability and power, next to Chaeyeon and Chaewon)
Hitomi: Lead Dancer, Sub Vocalist
(Removed the Sub Rapper, cuz she doesn't rlly rap)
Yuri: Main Vocalist (Lead Dancer Potential)
(She might be stiff sometimes, but most of the time she executes perfectly)

Ngl, The hardest part of the Choreo in my opinion were 1:41 (I had a hard time, copying it, becuz of the fast movements, and my brain is too slow to comprehend whats happening) and second was Yena's Iconic Spin, I could replicate the spin, but not the way that Yena does it.

I dont think Hyewon is a bad dancer, she just seems to be intimidated by the fact everyone else is more experienced? While I dont discount the voting scandal, Hyewon was actually really popular among casual viewers who were genuinely fans of her because she's gorgeous.

i hate how the centre literally walks from the front to back instead of blends into place
understandable, it really makes them stand out (not in a good way) since everyone else is dancing while they're just walking... it happens pretty often in kpop, especially for groups with lots of members so my guess is that the choreographers don't wanna complicate the formations by blending them into place so they just keep the formation as it is and make the center walk to their new position. it's just a guess tho!
This is izone choreagrapher so they re 12 members no 5 members....

they typically choreograph dances with the intent of the camera work from music shows in mind.
@@lavienrosewon8811 i had 13 dancers in my group and we still found a way to blend in, it's not a matter of members :) it makes things a bit more complicated, yeah, but not that much and it's not impossible to have a lot of dancers and still find a way to make them blend in to get back in the formation
Rather than IZONE being a large numbered group, I think it's more because they're even-numbered.
It's hard to have a center when there are even numbers. I was in a dance team in college, and our dance coordinators hated making formations and blocking for pieces with even-numbered members lol.
I've seen this center-walks-away a few times already. Rocket Punch's Juicy is the first song that comes to my mind. They have 6 members. Everglow's La Di Da also had a walk or two iirc. Also 6 members. I'm sure if I dig enough, I'll probs find a choreo by (G)I-dle that does the center-walk-away thing too. Probs not GFriend tho .-.
It could also be bc they don't want a member to be a shadow (someone dancing exactly behind center so that they effectively have a center) for too long? Idk.
it's easier to do the more powerful moments if you have a lot more muscle. Look and Eunbi and Chaeyeon :)

ohhhh that'd be fun to make!! a lot of people asked for an izone dance ranking video so i think it'll be the first ranking video i'll make lol, probably not this week though since i already have some stuff planned... but as soon as possible!
if yena joins everglow i'm hesitating between main and lead dancer for her position... i'm pretty sure she'll be in the dance line but everglow already has two main dancers, they could have a third since they'd have 7 members with yena but i'm not sure what yuehua will do. in my opinion, she could be the third main dancer :) her technique is perfect for everglow's choreos, i hope yuehua will make her a main dancer

Chaeyeon is my bias so I always watch her fancams and rarely watch others'. I have strong opinion about how great she is as a dancer. But now I realize that she is not perfect (well, nobody's perfect), and other members of IZ*ONE also have their strong points in terms of dancing. These 12 girls are young, talented and hard-working so I hope they can grow more in the future. Their disbandment was a great loss, but I have faith in them. Can't wait to see the girls taking their next steps in their career.

Who is the best dancer in IZ*ONE right now?
if we're talking about "overall" i'd pick chaeyeon, her technique is perfect for izone's choreographies!! but eunbi's better in some aspects and i prefer yena when it comes to isolations and sharp moves :)
1:04 i always loved the past references and i think they’re so cute but I’ve been trying to figure out which is which ;;; i know the second one is La Vie En Rose and the last one is Fiesta or SSOTS, but i really can’t tell
The first and second part are both la vie en rose, the thrid part is violeta, the fourth is fiesta and the last is secret story of the swan! I don’t know how to spell it lol but here:

I like how its a reference to all their past title tracks and im glad that these little things make other as happy as they make me 😭

that's a good question!! the comment just before that one was about her lack of control in her arms, which is also why her arms weren't straight in that move, but her arms are usually straighter than that. in the fancam i'll link in this comment, they're not fully straight but they're straighter than in the fancam i chose, so i'd say it's both her outfit and her technique!
eunbi's an amazing dancer and she's usually good with arm moves, don't get me wrong! she's just a bit weaker when it comes to fast moves, which is understandable :) hope this answers your question!

4:04 Eunbi can't straighten her amrs because she is wearing a off shoulder. It might go up and it will be really uncomfortable.
actually if you watch the fancam i’ll link here, she doesn’t straighten her arms despite having a more comfortable outfit! having control over her arms in quick moves is one of her weaknesses, the part right before that comment is about that too :) sorry, i should’ve added that to the video!

oh my god that's a hard question!! well i'll say eunbi's little leg thing to start the chorus is a detail i love and overall i think chaeyeon's technique is the best, but for panorama, i think yena's technique fits it the best! i really like how she executes panorama's moves, this choreography seems made for her

this month, i'll try to make three izone videos: ssots dance analysis pt.1 and pt.2 (because izone has a lot of members, i decided to make two videos instead of only one) and a panorama dance ranking (aka ranking them on how they perform panorama, not only their technique)! how does that sound?

the only think i hate in this choreo is the walking 😶 like is there no other transition?
The only thing I don’t like is 1:23 of the dance practice where Wonyoung says her line and has to walk from the center all the way to the back, that’s just seven second seconds of her walking, and that’s kind of awkward for me 😭

i don't think what i said about wonyoung is bad? it's a compliment and she can keep this style even after going through puberty since it's a graceful style that works really well with long limbs like hers. i'm not talking about her weight or her body, i just mean that she's graceful and delicate when she dances, like a feather. i'm really sorry if i made it sound like a bad thing, i'll be more careful with my words for the next video.
her legs seem fine to me, were you talking about her legs or another member's? if it was hers, i'm really impressed because she didn't let it show in her performance.
Weightless is actually a very common term used to describe dancing. Maybe its connotation is lost in translation since your first language doesn't seem to be english, but there is almost always no association with the dancer's actual weight when it's used in dance
