NONE of the US's ISR drones are worth a shit in this environment either. None of their strike drones are worth a shit- they all are bright AD targets. The entirety of the US/NATO military posture was predicated upon defenseless countries and uncontested environments. The M1A1 was among the *easiest* tanks to kill by FPV.
The ATACMS suffered of EW, only one hit the target. People died, but was a not a good hit. Please Willy, can you speak about the South Command General killed in the Odessa attack and all the weapons destroyed also ???
We dont know what the targets were. The missiles may or may not have been jammed, but the two that did hit the tropp concentration were probably just poorly targeted. Targeting of CM is different and requires more experience, than a precision warhead.

When I looked this cluster strike it is more of smoke strike than doing any damage most of the guy are alive and walked out there might be some injuries but more dramatic than real damage.
Laser guided ammo is useful for initial accurate strikes due to the nature of laser. Once smoke, dust and debris is in the air, that can disrupt laser beam and "jam" it in a way.
Dust and debris settles within minutes leaving the target exposed again. And not that much gets thrown up from targeted strikes as you can see from videos. The dust and debris would mean the first strike using lasers was successful also. Unless its a sandstorm or fogbank lasers stay in the game. Definitely far more reliable than GPS that depend on a signal going to low earth orbit. GPS targeted weapons dont work on major powers only minor regional powers like Iraq.
Yes, sometimes laser designation is a problem. Dust is less of a problem, but heavy fog or rain can interfere with tha targeting laser. BUT, what most people dont realise Russian system also has a GPS guided option. All systems from Krasnopol-D designation I think. It's basically a version where you can either use laser or gps designator by simply screw down/on the frontal part of the shell. The Russian system is much more advanced than people realise. Krasnopol was created before the Excalibur system and some people even claim that the US system is basically a copy of Russian system captured in Pakistan/Kashmir war. Americans had a system back in the 80s it was called M712 Copperhead, but it was a different concept, more of a huge rocket shot from an artillery barrel. They tinkered on this system for decades, then they suddenly released Excalibur, which was basically a copy of already for 10 or so years deployed Russian Krasnopol, but with gps instead of laser designator. Coincidence? Who knows.

These discussions about Pyrrhic victories are quite funny. Firstly, the dude can’t spell the Greek’s name correctly, and secondly, he makes a wonderful assumption that Russian troops are leaving their shelters, occupying positions previously occupied by Ukrainian troops and... surprise, surprise... they find themselves in an open field, defenseless and deprived of any shelter ) In fact, they find themselves in trenches that were previously occupied by the AFU. The dude sees the matter in such a way that the same trenches, occupied by either Russians or Ukrainians, in one case are a fortification, in the other case they are a death trap. God-level expert, at least in mental gymnastics!
to be fair the Ukrainians make piss poor trenches... they look an absolute state and the Russians probably have to spend weeks turning them into functional fortifications.

@@ruhtraeregellike my farts
Who knows.
