Back in the early '90s I was informed that my entire GI Joe collection which was extensive and included all of the major vehicles and figures was sold at a yard sale. My reaction at the time was "oh well...". Man, what I would give just to have some of my action figures back.
So cool.the memories these bring back .....its priceless.
I'm liking the MISSILE COMMAND CENTER & the Sears Exclusive collection! I'm super jealous right now.. haha great video!
Oh, man. I used to have most of these as a kid. I only kept all the figures from 1982-1990. You sir have taken me back in time, remembering how I used to play with these. Great collection!
Dang, I really love that Night Raven! Definitely my favorite Cobra vehicle.
word dog!!!!! raven was a butta jet back in the day
Flash was my brother's favorite; my favorite was Breaker. Thanks for sharing, I had nearly all of they toys from 82-89. I only kept my favorite 12 figures that my two boys like to play with from time to time.
Nice display room you got. Watching your channel has got me off my butt to start setting up my vintage joe collection, working on getting some shelving units right now. I am really enjoying going through my childhood collection, lots of memories.
Oh wow thanks for putting this together for our 80s nostalgia.
And this is why your the gold standard in Gi Joe collecting! Thank you for all the hard work!!!
This brings back memories. Kids today wouldn't know what to do with this stuff and probably go online to see what storylines they could find to fill their blank imaginations. LOL We even went outside to play with toys, imagine that?
Thank you for all your reviews. Always enjoy watching them. You'd be surprised how much watching these mean to some people.
Hello formbx257, I'm years, first time I'm writing, beautiful collection, I have only 3 characters, one plane and one 4x4, I collect cars not GIJOES, I must admit that I like the way you present the toys as a child saw the cartoons and I loved. I congratulate you for the great achievement of bringing together all those toys and also you make me remember my childhood years, keep going, I keep you from far south of America, at the end of the continent. Greetings.
ThunderGTR
I'm 45 and as Vader would say quite Impressive, dam Hasbro should pay this guy royalties for his show casing his collection!!
Awesome video... I just started collecting after M.I.A for around 30 years. Gosh I wish I were still a kid with all the ones I used to have
you have the best collection that I've ever seen!! hands down bro!! keep up the good work and thanks for the great video 💪👍👍
Notice in the Artic theme early on everyone is dressed for the elements, EXCEPT SGT.SLAUGHTER... What a badass dude don't need no jacket.
Congrats on your 5 years ,, epic collection , thank u for sharing ,,,
Excuse my French but that was fucking amazing
Kenneth Brown CWO Hasbro tapped into an exciting line of toys & comics.
I like the way how you actually display your Joe vehicles and figures. I purchased two 1987 Cobra Sea Rays and two complete Sea Slugs navigators to man them. Earlier this year, I won a bid on a 1988 Cobra BUGG complete with the blueprints and a Secto-Viper. I purchased another Secto-Viper and a few duplicate accessories to compliment both of the Secto-Vipers.
THANK YOU Kevin, Thank you for sharing your collection with us.
Your collection is INCREDIBLE!
I am from Argentina and my parents bought me a lot of gi joe vehicles and figures in the 80s, I bought by myself more stuff in the 90s, I lost everything and some months ago I started buying vehicles and figures again, I keep getting them :)
Thank you for sharing your collection in this video. This video gave me flash backs. You have a great collection. The 1980's GI Joe toy line has to be the greatest toy series of all time. The share size and variety alone made play adventurist. The compatibility made the universe infinite. I wish I could had been able to troop build when I was 10.
Totally awesome vintage GI Joe collection you have there. I love how everything there is, is set up.
Awesome collection!
Awesome collection!!!
When I saw your photos of this on Facebook my first thought was "Dude, you are sooooo 12" my 2nd thought was "damn it I want to be 12 too" lol. Its good to be a kid at heart
Very nice collection. Congrats. Its funny the first two figures my mom ever got me were FLASH and MAJOR BLUDD. They also hold a very special place in my heart.
Cool! I love your G.I.Joe figures! I love the 1980's and 90's G.I.Joe!
Awesome job! It takes me back.
Awesome looking
Now that is so amazing to bring me back to my childhood thank you so much!☺
Great collection! I love how you have the Tomahawk. With the light from the window coming through the inside. Great use of the Steel Brigade guys...Love it.
Great collection, man. They really don't make toys like they used to, I don't know why. Back when they made great playsets, vehicles, and figures kids didn't get toys as much as they do today.
I mean, it doesn't make sense, back in the day maybe one kid was lucky enough to have his parents buy him a USS Flagg, if they made stuff like that now they would barely be able to make them fast enough to sell.
It's a real shame. The new Joe figures are really well designed but they just don't feel right to me, probably just nostalgia that makes the old stuff better to me.
Thanks for sharing your amazing collection! Excellent review!
I have three toy boxes full of Joes myself. I could never let the go. Was always hoping to pass them on to a son. However, two daughters later. I digress, kool collection.
I really wish Hasbro would reissue the Terrordrome, USS Flagg and the Defiant space station playsets.
14:02 I'll be damned... it NEVER occurred to me that the outward notches on the Terrordrome were for the jetpacks they had. Kind of like how in the Headquarters, the "garage" was built for pretty much every vehicle up to that point. Touche' Hasbro... touche'
Great collection, though admittedly, I was a bit thrown to see two Copperheads in the Moccasin. Fantastic way to occupy a bedroom, though.
Great collection. This wakes up memories. Here in Germany they renamed GI Joe in "Action Force". Same toys but on the package was written Action Force instead of GI Joe. Never understood why they did that. In every other country they called it GI Joe. Maybe they thought GI Joe sounds to military for german kids. Anyhow.......great to see people like you still have fun collecting these great toys :)
ganimed1976 maybe for German nationalism? Know there'd be some cool German antiterrorism based action figures if someone made them.
I really appreciate this video. I am going to be displaying my G. I. Joe figures in my house soon and I have been looking for ideas how to do it.
Steven Cox no matter how you display it....you will always be changing that display. I'm speaking from experience.
oh my heavenly stars!!!! I have had sooo many of these!
Awesome collection. Really wish I had all my figures, mine were from the 90’s though. They just don’t make things like they used to. So much detail.
Awesome collection
Looking at your collection makes me want to clean mine up! Not to long ago I cleaned my Flagg in soap and water along with a couple other vehicles, got to say that took time lol. Your collection looks mint sharp and clean. Very good video.
Excellent collection. Thanks for the share.
Wonderful collection GI Joe's.
These toys were great... Hours and hours of fun and new imaginatives adventures. Wish I had a delorean to travel back in time...
Did you ever buy the 90's toy line from the cartoons after the GI Joe movie? lots of the vehicles were super colorful and so were the figures.
that hangarship.. holy crap.. that has got to be expensive :O
jalliboy and they have to be cared for.
Fantastic collection !!!
very impressive! I'm 30 tomorrow and got lucky enough to grow up with vintage gi joes that I got from one of my dads friends when his son who was older didn't want them anymore. I've only been collecting over a year but have gotten a pretty large collection, but those big pieces like the Flagg, defiant , sears cobra hq, and rolling thunder I still need. I'm glad I seen these shelves as I'm running out of space and thought these shelves wouldn't work due to the holes in them but I like what you've done with the white cardboard pieces I'm assuming. Love the videos and the collection thanks for the videos!
lovely collection
That's some unbelievable nostalgia there! Awesome!! I still remember that Stalker was my first Joe. Of my many, many childhood figures most unfortunately fell victim to BB guns and firecrackers lodged in their rubber banded torsos. I was such a stupid little POS......But I still have my Lady Jaye safe and sound as I could never bring myself to harm her. She's packed in a storage box somewhere in my shed, and I believe she's sitting in the driver's seat of a red convertible '62 T-Bird model.
Wow, that is an amazing collection.
That is beyond epic!
wow amazing collection
Hi Kevin, would you do one day a review of how you storage your figures in those licensed G.I.Joe boxes? I'm curious on how practical they are for collectors with a big number of figures. Thank you and nice weekend!!
Thanks for the idea, this Spring I should make a storage and cleaning video.
Awesome collection.
How has this man not got 10 million subs
Nice collection!
Great job.
Awesome collection my friend!
dont think ive seen the Mobile Command Centre of the Joes in your collection, that was a huge set as well :) but this is just an amazing collection m8 YOOO JOE !!!

I can not say anything other than that it's really amazing!
you have more balls than I do kevin, I could never hang my rattler up like yours, with my luck it will fall right off and break into a thousand pieces.
badass great collection
wow man nice collection! I use the same black plastic shelves. The white trays on the bottom what are they> white bristle board? thanks
The white boards are comic book backing boards.
I only have a few left I wish I kept them like you did just two thunder machine's and two sets of dreadnoks and one Zantac
Zartan spell check got me
Sweet collection Kevin soon i will be making a video showing my collection too. Great video
Great collection! Love the cobra shirt you are wearing. Judging by the amount of fading on the shirt I can see you love it too. Always enjoy your youtube videos!
one question though do you have the 12' figures? if so do you have the salute to the chiefs or the blue angel figure?
best collection ever
Where did you get most of the items for your collection?-- very nice, thank you for sharing
you're my second favorite youtuber I'm only 10 and gi Joe's are my favorite toy
wow nice collection
Great video as expected and a truly tremendous collection. You are the number one GI Joe reviewer on youtube. Have to ask this.......where is Gung Ho going on the USS Flagg? Looks like he is about to jump overboard.
Alamo Patriot He's going down a small set of steps leading to the forward radar dish. It's his turn to fix the satellite TV :)
Okay, did not see the ladder well; that makes more sense. LOL Did not think a Marine would be abandoning his post :-)
Pretty awesome collection.Do you have the space station. It seemed like one of the very few things I didn't see
James Strevels If you mean the Defiant Space Shuttle & Booster/Space Station set, I bought it less than a month after this video. I did a 3-part review of it here: th-cam.com/video/zpwRYqgPPQ4h/w-d-xo.htmlttps://th-cam.com/video/z-4rXOW3YuUh/w-d-xo.htmlttps://th-cam.com/video/e4NCpyPEVg0/w-d-xo.html
Yes that was the one I was referring to.Of the big playsets that was the only one I had
I'm a big fan of your reviews and I have one question. What was your first GI Joe?
+Matthew Caldwell Thanks for watching my videos! My first Joes were gifts (Christmas '82, I think). Stalker, Breaker and Steeler with the MOBAT.
awesome collection!! Brings back such fond memories. One thing I remember having that I did not see was a line of tiger stripes GI Joe vehicles. I don't remember the exact name of them, but they were cobra vehicle repainted with the Tiger stripes & used by the Joe's I believe. I had the cobra rattler in that scheme. If u know what I'm talking about please let me know what they were called
+Michael Costantinou It was called Tiger Force (a sub-series of figures and vehicles released in 1988-1989). You can check out the vehicles here: www.yojoe.com/vehicles/88/ 2009 Target re-issued the Rattler (Tiger Rat).
Hi formbx257 , very nice collection and setup! What do you use to hang your air vehicles? i.e. The Cobra Rattler... Is it fishing line and eye hooks? did you screw the hooks in underneath your shelf display?
John HawaiiFiveOh I hang my jet vehicles in a frame with the fishing line looped around the bar and the vehicle. I put a drop of Krazy glue in the knot. Having several loops allows me to place the line first, then put the vehicle in it and adjust the display angle.
formbx257 Nice, thanks for the tip! I never thought about using Krazy / Super glue either!
nice bro, do you have the defiant??
Great Video Kevin, Love to see you're collection! Next time you can make it a 1 hour video?? haha but i hope i will see you on youtube for another 5 years!! Greets from the Netherlands!!
Nice collection!!! I love your videos, keep up the good work
Who did the Baroness evening gown illustration?
And where can I get a decent resolution copy?
Is yours an original or a print?
Russ Heath did that illustration (a study for Sunbow episode Cobrathon). I found it online (just Google search Russ Heath Baroness), and photoshopped it until it was cleaner.
amazing collection fxxking brilliant money well spent I only have a few figures vintage are the best.
damb, I used to trade my gijoes just to make friends.....I have always enjoyed sharing my interests since I was 4 years old
Very Nice! Love your videos!
Have you ever reviewed the GI Joe General or the base playsets
I don't have the General (its on my long list of wanted toys!). I did review the HQ, Terror Drome and Tactical Battle Platform a long time ago.
AWESOMENESS!!
Did you ever get Larry Hama's autograph? I got it, a few years ago, for my cousin.
Yes, one of the convention cards on my shelf (the one with the Baroness sketch) has his autograph. He's a cool dude in person!
Yes he is. :) My cousin is/was also a huge G.I.Joe collector. He's stopped, now, & has even sold some of his stuff. Who knows, maybe you may've bought some stuff, from him. If you've bought stuff off e-bay, or other sites, on the net.
Do you plan on getting Sgt Slaughters Marauders?
I just picked up a MISB Equalizer for $150 on Ebay.
Next best thing to a Mauler.
No, I'm not planning on getting any Slaughter's Marauders items. They look cool, but I'm focusing on unique characters right now. You got a good deal on that Equalizer, a loose complete one almost goes for that!
Yeah, I won't be getting any of the marauders figures, since they're just repaints.
I also saw a camo version of the Rattler with Hawk and Ace figures, also $150.
I was very tempted to get a mint plane to build and sticker myself, but I would rather have the classic blue Rattler.
Unfortunately it's one of those vehicles that doesn't age well (the landing gear), so I don't know if I'll ever be able to get a decent example.
what is your opinion or thoughts on the fun school editions???and what are they???
If you mean Funskool, it's a subsidiary of Hasbro in India. They used the vintage molds from 1992-2002 for their own retail market. Early production versions of the figures and vehicles have very different coloring to the US. These variations are very rare. I really don't collect variations and the plastic/paint quality from India is generally very poor.
Nice video Kevin, I'm always excited when you post a new video. By the way, I enjoyed the mini Cobra Hiss, I'm hoping just like you they release a couple more items to include a Cobra Rattler.
cool man, I was selling my collection on EBAY, started a couple of years ago- now I wish I had not
