Great job. Looking forward ro more episodes. One tip for fitting panels to irregular shaped contours. Use a joggle stick. Also called a ticking stick to get the correct shape. Should be plenty of yourube videos on it.
thanks! we've got some more episodes coming soon. i can normally nail a panel like that with the tape but you've only gotta get one measurement wrong and bam it doesnt work
Looking good guys. Just found your channel and it's great to see a different way of doing things from the usual 150k Landcruiser/Patrol and 150k caravan. I always used to love the newest and flashest but I have to say that I'm way more interested in these types of vans these days.
Thanks mate. Yeah we wanted to document this to show people they don’t need to spend big amounts to be able to get out there on the road, hope it inspires others 😊
Gooday guys. I've been watching your build series for a couple of weeks now and absolutely love it. I'm doing a grand tourer poptop and you guys have saved me days of wondering and pondering so thankyou.. I have a question from left field though if i may. My wife and i grew up in mac town during the 60s and 70s and we both think Mrs as we wander is a spitting image of a childhood friend of my wife, so if i may, was your mum/ gran named Jan and by chance did she grow up in Forgan st? sorry if this seems a bit strange but wowsers you are like a trip back in time when we see you on our screens..
@@AsWeWander ill send you a photo one day when i think of it. The resemblance is uncanny and in a good way too. Thanks for the reply and for the great viewing.
What are you going to do about the louvre panel where the fridge was as i think you will have the same damp problem a while down the line also the same with your door which is not needed as you are no longer using bottle gas brilliant work to get the caravan back up to scratch wont be long now until you are all enjoying the outdoors life instead of working in the outdoors
we'll be sealing up the old fridge vent because our new fridge is internally vented which is one of the main reason we chose the fridge. Ive always hated fridge vents they let soo much dust in and water and bugs. i have thought about the door ventilation but will look into that. thanks only a few weeks left. Thanks for watching
@@AsWeWander hey guys We have very similar old Viscount and we flattened the vents out and got the tin bashers to cut us out a piece of tin to fit inside the aluminium strip Looks pretty clean and made a huge difference to temp and dust inside van Loving your content guys 👌
I have some damaged interior walls that I would like to repair and paint but the material is very thin and I'm not sure what to use for the repair. Any advice?

How good does it feel when you actually see paint going on and that new look..
It’s such a good feeling! It really cleans up the old interior
Good job. @plus🇫🇷

Did you put any insulation in like polystyrene behind walls
Nah we haven’t, and we didn’t see any point in doing that in a pop top. We might do inside the roof so it’s not to hot around our heads

Looking good. Please don’t pan so fast! Made me dizzy looking at the first topcoat…
Thanks! And we’ll try to remember but sometimes we get a bit excited
