How do you reconcile your expertise in all the pseudoscience and fiat that is religion with your applied knowledge in all things cats? I’m simply impressed with your guidance in how to care for cats which is obviously founded in objective fact, research, and experience. On the other hand, your belief system is derived from ancient writings which have been transcribed, translated, and seemingly made from whole cloth from a time when civilization was in its infancy. You’re obviously talented and intelligent. You have the makings of an excellent science communicator. What an interesting testimony, Jess. I relate to a lot of what you said, especially changing jobs and it somehow all coming together with God's help. I was raised Catholic, became atheist after experiencing abuse from people claiming Catholicism, then I regained my faith. My biggest issue with my understand of scripture and group-based (religious) worship these days is how people think God, Yahweh, is male. Eveything in the world is birthed from women, females, the feminine, but God itself is male???? Nope, I don't agree with that. At most, I'd say God is equally female and male. I can't pray to a male God, personally. When I think of God, I see it in the feminine or duality of female/male. What are your thoughts because I heard you say He and Father multiple times. Those old scriptures were written by misogynists. So although I think they're helpful, the way they don't give power to the feminine is harmful. Jericho is a beautiful kitty.

Most religions/people divide into trinity. But I believe we have 1 encompassing Creator, not 3 separate entities. So YAHUAH is our Creator, son Yahusha is our Creator as flesh and blood, Ruach (most people say spirit) is our Creator's extension/breath/spirit. And Ruach is a feminine noun! It's Strong's H7307. I still say Abba and Father because Yahusha gives us a template for praying in 3 accounts. Mark 11:24, Matthew 6:9, Luke 11:2 - all include "Father". We also have to remember that Hebrew and Greek have waaaayyyyy more words than English. So we are relying on the translator's best guess (at best, misinterpretation/deception at worst lol) to choose an English word that represents the meaning behind the original "Father". At the end of the day, we will never understand everything. Because then we would be Elohiym (: and we aren't!

Jess is about raw feeding. Purina One Indoor adult dry cat food contains Chicken By-Product Meal , Rice, Corn Gluten Meal, Soybean Meal, Whole Grain Corn, and Soy Protein Isolate. It is also high in calcium and phosphorus, which is bad for cats. There is Purina One grain free wet cat food, but it has double the maximum amount of phosphorus, as found in the "Small Animal Clinical Nutrition" book. The nutrient levels for Purina foods is not on their website. When I sent an email, requesting the information. Purina replied they forwarded my request to another department. I have not heard back in over a month.
Happy Caturday! Purina finally replied. Purina Friskies Cat Food Shreds With Chicken in Gravy: Calcium 1.71% (1.0 should be max). Phosphorus 1.12% (0.8% max) Those are significant overages for inorganic nutrients.

Hope is what humanity is reaching for, and the Christmas season is a time when people across the world embrace all the customs of Christmas because they are desiring hope. Christ is our great Desire. I had to come to terms with my newfound truth about the origins of Christmas. Keeping animals to include but not limited to livestock, I know that our Saviour was born during the warm season. December is not the season. I generally do not keep Christmas, although I put up seasonal decor, but not a tree. I do not exchange gifts, I buy them throughout the year when I want to. Keeping all sorts of animals was an opportunity for me to see that everything we do is contrary to what is right. Our food and how we grow it and harvest it and preserve it is the tip of the iceberg, but it is the main reason we are on this channel because our relatives (animals) are suffering and so are we. We absolutely must get back to doing things without breaking His Laws, and that includes how we treat the land and grow our food and feed it to our animals. Spring is the real New Year, and when it gets here, I hope you have a blessed 2024, and thank you for all you do helping us out here learn how to make the time and money sacrifice to do the right thing feeding our cats. Doing the right thing costs money and takes time. It is not easy, but life never was supposed to be "convenient". I thank you for sharing your testimony. It was a pleasure to my heart to hear it.

Good to share your testimony, Jess. I’m a believer. But those celebrations you listed are Jewish. I’m assuming you’re not Jewish? If not, you’re a gentile, like me. It’s completely your choice to not celebrate the birth of Christ (which is fine to do even though we dont know the exact date) however, jewish celebrations are not for gentile people.
I see it differently! I'm following YAHUAH's word not what religion tells us. And YAH commands His people (which would be us if we believe in Him) to honor His moediym.
Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. (Colossians 2:16-17)
Jesus initiated a new covenant. Through his blood. Covenant of grace and truth not works and Old Testament observances. You cannot mix grace and works. You cannot put the new wine of the new covenant in the old wineskin of the law. Saint Paul was the greatest apostle. Even Peter said he wrote scripture.2 Peter 3:15 ,16. God gave him revelation of the incredible inheritance we have in Christ.
The anger and rage honestly just sounds like you would have probably benefitted from therapy, speaking from experience. That said, I'm happy for you that you've found comfort in religion and that you were lucky enough to survive that situation at the beach and I've enjoyed learning about you as a person and your life outside of the TH-cam content you create from this video, but there are also other pathways to personal development aside from religion and I urge you not to begin pushing religion on others through your content, as spirituality is a personal journey and your path may not be for everyone. Personally, as someone with ptsd who has felt that so many of the things have happened to me have been out of my control, I find "new agey" witchy rituals/spells to be empowering, so I hate when others are automatically dismissive of them from the perspective that the religion they've chosen for themselves is better or superior somehow. I'm not sure if I actually believe in their efficacy, but even if it's just superstition and the placebo effect, I believe that the stories we tell ourselves are important and feeling like I can take back some control over my life soothes my anxiety in a way that relying on the idea of a "creator" simply does not. As someone who waas abused by my parents, I also take issue with the idea that someone's decision to "create" us or otherwise bring us into this world automatically entitles them to our deference. And personally, I find the idea of an all-powerful but flawed god to be all the more inspiring. If even God isn't perfect, then we all have something to learn, and even God is growing with us. It also makes the attainment of knowledge all the more admirable of a pursuit if even God doesn't have all of the answers. I also think it to be more realistic. After all, those humans in positions of power aren't necessarily more wise or moral as a result, so if we were created in God's image, it seems to me that the pattern might hold. Additionally, it would also explain God's hands-off attitude to injustice. Because free-will doesn't mean that God can't smite or strike someone down to prevent them from enacting further harm after they've made the decision to enact whatever initial harm that they do. Just some thoughts I wanted to share.
Anyone who believes in an innocent dying for their sins is a narcissist. The Creator is against human blood sacrifice. The Creator just wants our sincere repentance and to follow the 7 categories of laws given to Noah. Read the book of Jonah and see the non Jewish people were forgiven. No human blood sacrifice was performed for forgiveness.
Jesus is the final Passover Lamb who takes away the sins of the world, that is why there is no more Temple and no more animal sacrifice. You can never perfectly keep all of God's commands and be good enough for heaven. He has to put a new heart and spirit in us and make us a new creation, that is only possible with the Lamb of God, Jesus/Yashuah Messiah. He fulfilled the righteousness of the law and imputes it to us when we put our trust in what he did for us on the Cross. I pray God's opens your heart, God bless.

There will be another temple and animal sacrifices will be performed again, read Ezekiel. Listen to the Creator and not Paul. The creator said no idols. I have nice sabbats with my 7 mouth old cat. She is used to shofar.
Oh nice! I don't have one, but I discovered I can do a pretty good mimic with my own voice lol I'll have to try at home and see what Jericho thinks.

I have not heard back in over a month.

Hope is what humanity is reaching for, and the Christmas season is a time when people across the world embrace all the customs of Christmas because they are desiring hope. Christ is our great Desire. I had to come to terms with my newfound truth about the origins of Christmas. Keeping animals to include but not limited to livestock, I know that our Saviour was born during the warm season. December is not the season. I generally do not keep Christmas, although I put up seasonal decor, but not a tree. I do not exchange gifts, I buy them throughout the year when I want to. Keeping all sorts of animals was an opportunity for me to see that everything we do is contrary to what is right. Our food and how we grow it and harvest it and preserve it is the tip of the iceberg, but it is the main reason we are on this channel because our relatives (animals) are suffering and so are we. We absolutely must get back to doing things without breaking His Laws, and that includes how we treat the land and grow our food and feed it to our animals.
Spring is the real New Year, and when it gets here, I hope you have a blessed 2024, and thank you for all you do helping us out here learn how to make the time and money sacrifice to do the right thing feeding our cats. Doing the right thing costs money and takes time. It is not easy, but life never was supposed to be "convenient".

Good to share your testimony, Jess. I’m a believer. But those celebrations you listed are Jewish. I’m assuming you’re not Jewish? If not, you’re a gentile, like me. It’s completely your choice to not celebrate the birth of Christ (which is fine to do even though we dont know the exact date) however, jewish celebrations are not for gentile people.
I see it differently! I'm following YAHUAH's word not what religion tells us. And YAH commands His people (which would be us if we believe in Him) to honor His moediym.

Jesus initiated a new covenant. Through his blood. Covenant of grace and truth not works and Old Testament observances. You cannot mix grace and works. You cannot put the new wine of the new covenant in the old wineskin of the law. Saint Paul was the greatest apostle. Even Peter said he wrote scripture.2 Peter 3:15 ,16. God gave him revelation of the incredible inheritance we have in Christ.
The anger and rage honestly just sounds like you would have probably benefitted from therapy, speaking from experience. That said, I'm happy for you that you've found comfort in religion and that you were lucky enough to survive that situation at the beach and I've enjoyed learning about you as a person and your life outside of the TH-cam content you create from this video, but there are also other pathways to personal development aside from religion and I urge you not to begin pushing religion on others through your content, as spirituality is a personal journey and your path may not be for everyone. Personally, as someone with ptsd who has felt that so many of the things have happened to me have been out of my control, I find "new agey" witchy rituals/spells to be empowering, so I hate when others are automatically dismissive of them from the perspective that the religion they've chosen for themselves is better or superior somehow. I'm not sure if I actually believe in their efficacy, but even if it's just superstition and the placebo effect, I believe that the stories we tell ourselves are important and feeling like I can take back some control over my life soothes my anxiety in a way that relying on the idea of a "creator" simply does not. As someone who waas abused by my parents, I also take issue with the idea that someone's decision to "create" us or otherwise bring us into this world automatically entitles them to our deference. And personally, I find the idea of an all-powerful but flawed god to be all the more inspiring. If even God isn't perfect, then we all have something to learn, and even God is growing with us. It also makes the attainment of knowledge all the more admirable of a pursuit if even God doesn't have all of the answers. I also think it to be more realistic. After all, those humans in positions of power aren't necessarily more wise or moral as a result, so if we were created in God's image, it seems to me that the pattern might hold. Additionally, it would also explain God's hands-off attitude to injustice. Because free-will doesn't mean that God can't smite or strike someone down to prevent them from enacting further harm after they've made the decision to enact whatever initial harm that they do. Just some thoughts I wanted to share.
Anyone who believes in an innocent dying for their sins is a narcissist. The Creator is against human blood sacrifice. The Creator just wants our sincere repentance and to follow the 7 categories of laws given to Noah. Read the book of Jonah and see the non Jewish people were forgiven.
No human blood sacrifice was performed for forgiveness.
Jesus is the final Passover Lamb who takes away the sins of the world, that is why there is no more Temple and no more animal sacrifice. You can never perfectly keep all of God's commands and be good enough for heaven. He has to put a new heart and spirit in us and make us a new creation, that is only possible with the Lamb of God, Jesus/Yashuah Messiah. He fulfilled the righteousness of the law and imputes it to us when we put our trust in what he did for us on the Cross. I pray God's opens your heart, God bless.
@@TazHall when you say Jesus was the Passover lamb you are saying Jesus is an idol. The Passover lamb was putting to death the lamb idol of Egypt.
There will be another temple and animal sacrifices will be performed again, read Ezekiel. Listen to the Creator and not Paul. The creator said no idols.
